80 Hours Awake.

So my friends and myself are conducting a social experiment which involves me staying up straight for 80 hours. I am using this to post what my thoughts are at every 10 hours past 24 hours. This should be interesting.

Psssh, I once stayed up a whole week about eight years ago, when I had five different school projects due on the same weekend and I left all of them to the proverbial 11th hour.

Fun times.

Let's just say for the week that followed, my routine consisted mainly of catching up on sleep and waking up only to eat and ****. Good thing it was the school holidays, heh.

The gamble paid off, as four of the five projects earned a fabulous A grade. Whoo!

While I do stay up late, if I stay up more than twenty hours straight, I usually get the shakes so I've been more careful since then.

UPDATE:

So far I am at 32 hours awake, I have spent the last 20 odd hours in a solitude environment. I am getting a few spits of short term memory loss where I forget to do things I planned on doing. I am freezing cold as well, wearing a long sleeve shirt and a north face jacket. This experiment sucks, big time.

Man, I stayed up three straight days once at St. John's to finish all my final papers once. I only hallucinated a little bit. That's 72 hours! F*ck this 80 hours sh*t, I demand you stay up 100!

UPDATE:

56 hours awake, I feel like I am dying, my hearing is odd though, I have selective hearing, shakes, only 14 hour of these hours have been in a social environment, the rest have been in a solitude confinement state in my room. I am freezing cold, and the room feels like its tilted on an angle. I hope I can last for the Shogun v. Machida 2 fight.

Experiment failed when I laid on the couch and passed out watching Gangland on the History Channel. Fail. Total awake: 61 Hours 35 minutes

I was hyped up on mountain dew, red bull and doing 5 hour energies every 2 hours, I think there was a Adderall pill pop somewhere around hour 40 as well. In the end nothing could keep me awake, not even watching Crips dealing drugs and being awesome.

I should've been your Yoda for this experiment. There's timing involved when you take these uppers to stay up for a specific time period. Ahhh you shall learn one day, young Paduan.
