GXW,

Well, its been quite some time since I've been around here and online for that matter. Before I explain, I would like to apologize to everyone for my absence and lack of communication.

I can tell you right now, that my online time consists of 5 minutes a day and that is to check my email accounts while at school. For those of you who may not know, I recently graduated from college this past spring and I am now a full-time 8th grade social studies and math teacher. I cannot begin to explain to you how time consuming teaching is, even more so than I imagined. On top of that, I was recently promoted from head middle school wrestling coach (where I had been for the past six years) to the high school's junior varsity wrestling coach. Amateur wrestling has always been a large part of my life and it is very big in the town where I live/grew up (imagine the movie Varsity Blues and how the town reacts with football games, plug in wrestling, and you have my town). To make a long story short, I am next in line to become the varsity wrestling coach for a historic program that has only had 5 head coaches over the past 70 years. In addition, I am still on the independent profressional wrestling circuit. I am currently working full-time for the DCW (http://www.dcwprowrestling.com/), sorry for the harmless plug :). As of right now, I have been elevated to mid-card status and I'm actually a fan favorite, lol (I wrestle under the name of Kendall Kodine). And last, but certainly not least, I am now dating a new girl that I am very serious about.

Overall, I felt that I needed to offer the entire GXW (whether you may know me or not) an explanation because fantasy wrestling, as well as many of you, have been a part of my life for the past 6 years. I have made several good friends along the way, Paul, EZ, Chad, Dave, Jamar, Joe, etc. Nevertheless, I'm afraid that I will have to say good-bye to the GXW and fantasy wrestling in general. Time is just not a luxury that I have, as many of you can see from my obscurity on AIM to my lack of activity in the fantasy football leagues (although I checked the other day and I'm not doing half bad for still having Keyshawn Johnson in :)). EZ and Chad, I would like to thank you both for putting up with me and I hope that my "retirement" does not put a bug into any plans that you may have had. I certainly hope to come back to this game some time in the future, as I have never completely retired from it as a whole before. I can certainly tell you that if the doors are still open for me, the GXW will be the first place that I return.

I wish you all the best of luck and for those of you who have the time, feel free to drop me an email from time to time (yes, believe it or not, I still check it :)) or even hit me up on AIM if I'm around. Happy Thanksgiving to all and hopefully in the future, you will see me back in the game again....

Thanks for the Memories,
Kent Robinson (Kendall Codine)

good lord ... that both sucks, and is awesome, at the same time.

first off -- congrats on all of your career-success, bro. sounds like things are going as-well, or even better, than you'd hoped. that's simply awesome. still rasslin', too. you're the freak-iggidin' man.

second of all -- sucks that your time in FW has come to an end. your prescence will eternally be missed. you and i have raised alll SORTS of hell together -- and against eachother -- in this game, and you've been a great, understanding, friend through it all. ahhhhh, the memories :)

...seriously... the memories :)

too many to mention. but i'll be brief and synopsize as best i can ;) be it in HEW, when you were gunning for Havoc's ass, or TCW, when we were gunning just to get the cards out on time, or CSWA, when we were gunning just to get our angles out and over.

always a challenge. always a handful.

but always Fun.

you're the man, K. i'll do my best to stay in touch. you do the same.

Kent...

You're the man.

Just like I told Ed....don't ever think we'd put your personal life's importance ahead of fantasy wrestling.

I wish you all the luck in the world with everything that's going on with ya....it all sounds really cool.

Whenever some free time comes up, you can bet that GXW will be here with open arms.

Thanks for everything you've done here and in helping me with other FW type things....it was all very appreciated....

Take care...

Kent Robinson will be missed.

A sad day in the efedding world as Kent Robinson will be missed, but forever remembered.

Kent, I am happy for you that you have officially started your life and you are getting things going, but I am sad to finally see you go. I'd be lying if I wasn't.

Although I did kind of see it coming still it doesn't make your departure any easier. It still hits you in the face.

I think that I will miss most about Kent Robinson is his humility. Here is one of the best rpers that I have ever rped against, and he doesn't only rp with a totally awesome character with so much depth, but but he is an awesome handler who really tries to understand every single character he rps against.

Anybody that goes up against you Kent, not only you make it fun but you make them feel good about themselves, you give them inspiration, and you play off of them better than anybody in efed wrestling.

I speak from experience when I rped against you, you had all this talent and never once did you make feel like I was putting you or your skills over at my expense. You made it enjoyable for me to go up against you, and when it was over, I felt honored to go toe to toe with the great Kent Robinson. It was like anybody who put forth the effort at the same level of you and made you work, you made them look like a star.

When it was all said and done, I think that you made me feel good that I rped against you. Even if I lost against you, you still made me feel like a I was worth something. I will miss that.

You don't throw your great talents in anybody's face, and you put them over as much as they put you over. That's humility. Of all of the efedders that I have went up against, I have always tried to emmulate you and your style both on the boards and behind the scenes. YOu are a class act man.

I wish you all the best, and I hope that your time will allow you to come back, but if not we understand.

Take care,
God bless,

You're the man, bro...

Kent,

on behalf of GXW, and anyone who has EVER worked with you in fantasy wrestling, thank you. You are definitely a class act... and I'm sure everyone else would say the same.

As for your situation in life, I couldn't be more happy for you! That's really great that you've got so many things going for you, and I wish you continued success in everything that you do. If I was an 8th grader, I know I'd be psyched to be takin' lessons from the one and only Kendall Codine. :D

Well... thanks again for all your contributions to FW Kent, and keep on keepin' on. We'll all miss you, bro.
