WFW Ghoulish Games: Maelstrom/Ryan vs. Edmunds/Iron Lion (Kidnapping & Sneak Attacks)
BRANDON JACOBS: Sean Edmunds and Iron Lion aren’t the most likely of partners, they have been bickering back and forth over who deserves a title shot and who doesn’t. But tonight, in order to win this match against Inner Circle, they are going to have to work as a team if they want to beat Maelstrom and Dan Ryan.
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom and Dan Ryan are going to be tough to beat. They may not go out every night and drink together, but they are bound together by a business relationship both men want to succeed. They are going to do everything in their power to send Edmunds and Iron Lion home with their tail between their legs.
VIC WATERS: What makes things even worse is that it was El Arco Iris who forced these men to team up, the same man who was the very first person to beat Iron Lion here in WFW. Don’t think Iron Lion doesn’t remember that.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion seems be a new man. He has a whole new ideology on life.
JONATHAN MARX: In wrestling, you take your bumps and you become the person that you are going to be. Everything happens for a reason.
VIC WATERS: While Edmunds is a former WFW World Heavyweight Champion, he is clearly the smallest man in the match and you can sense both Maelstrom and Dan Ryan will work to isolate Edmunds and try to finish him off.
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds career has had many peaks and valleys here in WFW, but what makes him so great is when he has those peaks, he is among the elite of the elite. I would put Edmunds among any of the alltime greats as his best. If he could ever just avoid falling into those valleys as far as he does, he would be even more of a force than he is.
VIC WATERS: We all saw how Maelstrom took it to Wells and Ryan stood side by side with Copycat against Psycho & Michaels. Both Edmunds and Iron Lion will have to be at the peak of their game to beat these and even then it isn’t even a sure thing.
BRANDON JACOBS: Folks, lets send this down to ringside and get this match underway!

(Thunderous crowd pop)
(CUT TO: 'Ego Buster' flashes across the screen in rapid contrasting black and white. CUT TO: Dan Ryan gorrilla presses Kevin Powers from inside the ring to the floor below. CUT TO: The word "YOU" flashes on the screen. CUT TO: Dan Ryan throws 'Living Legend' Mark Windham from the second level of Key Arena down to the first level. CUT TO: the word "ARE". CUT TO: Dan Ryan clotheslines 'Cocky' Craig Miles, nearly taking his head off. CUT TO: the word "BUSTED" CUT TO: rapid shots of Dan Ryan pulverizing opponents with the Humility Bomb, a last ride power bomb landing high angle on the neck.)
(Ryan walks down to ringside with Lindsay Troy at his side as pyro erupts along the ramp beside him. He rolls under the bottom rope and climbs a corner turnbuckle and simply glares through the sunglasses into the crowd.)

:: Edmunds comes down to the ring accompanied by Sherri and enters the ring to the loud boos from the crowd::

RING ANNOUNCER: And his opponent, a member of the Inner Circle, the former and greatest GLCW Heavyweight Champion of Alltime, from Pandora, Island….. MAELSTROM!
::Maelstrom comes down to the ring to the ovation of the crowd and enters the ring::
*bell rings*
BRANDON JACOBS: Both sides are talking to their partners and they agree that Maelstrom and Edmunds will start off the match.
JONATHAN MARX: This is a good decision, as well conditioned as Dan Ryan and Iron Lion are, bigger men get tired faster.
VIC WATERS: To the best of my knowledge, these two haven’t faced off since their WWWL days and that was awhile ago.
JONATHAN MARX: When you get back into the ring with an old opponent, it all comes right back to you. I am sure these two have been reviewing tapes and brushing up on each other in order to get prepared for this match.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom walks to the center of the ring and he extends his arms to Edmunds for a lock up. Edmunds is looking a little weary.
JONATHAN MARX: There may be wrestlers bigger, but Maelstrom is clearly the strongest wrestler I have ever faced. When he rips into you, he really rips into you.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds walks up Maelstrom to lock up….. but he pulls them back and walks away with second thoughts.
VIC WATERS: Wise man, he could have gotten himself killed.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds turns around to the crowd and points to his head….. MAELSTROM COMES FROM BEHIND AND GRABS EDMUNDS BY THE HAIR AND YANKS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
JONATHAN MARX: That will teach Edmunds not to turn his back to Maelstrom.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds is grabbing the back of his neck and he is inching away from Maelstrom…… MAELSTROM GRABS THE FEET OF EDMUNDS AND HE STARTS SPINNING HIM AROUND AND AROUND IN A GIANT SWING!
VIC WATERS: He is going to be awfully dizzy when this finally stops.
JONATHAN MARX: If Maelstrom can throw off Edmunds equilibrium, he might be able to take away Edmunds’ speed advantage.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom finally lets go and Edmunds crashes down on the mat! Edmunds is trying to get up but he is stumbling all over the place.
VIC WATERS: Edmunds is still a little bit liquored up from before, but thankfully enough time has passed where he doesn’t look like Mike Lane did against Christian Sands.
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds has a high tolerance, he spent some of his best years with Jared Wells on the road and he has tremendous… conditioning.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom kicks Edmunds in the stomach…. AND HE IS LIFTING HIM UP IN A GORILLA PRESS OVER HIS HEAD TO THE HEAVENS! Maelstrom is now bench pressing Edmunds over his head…. HE DROPS EDMUNDS DOWN TO THE MAT AND EDMUNDS CRASHES DOWN RIGHT ON HIS FACE!
JONATHAN MARX: The power of Maelstrom never ceases to amaze me.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom is going down for a cover! The ref goes down to count! 1------------------------------------------------------2---------------------------------- EDMUNDS MANAGES TO KICK OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: That was close, Edmunds has to learn how to better counter Maelstrom power if Edmunds and Iron Lion want to give these two a run for their money.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom picks Edmunds off the mat…… EDMUNDS POPS MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE HEAD WITH A FOREARM SHOT AND CATCHES MAELSTROM OFF GUARD!
VIC WATERS: Edmunds sensing the impending doom has turned it up a notch.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS JUMPS UP AND HE HITS MAELSTROM WITH A DROPKICK! Maelstrom staggers backwards…. BUT HE DOESN’T GO DOWN!
JONATHAN MARX: It takes a lot of punishment to get Maelstrom off his feet.
VIC WATERS: Edmunds has to be thinking, what does he have to do to get Maelstrom down?
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds get up from the dropkick…. MAELSTROM REGAINS HIS SENSES AND CHARGES EDMUNDS…..
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds is about to have his head taken off.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS JUMPS UP IN THE AIR AND HE CATCHES MAELSTROM WITH A HURRICANRANA….
VIC WATERS: YES!
BRANDON JACOBS: BUT MAELSTROM USES HIS POWER TO KEEP FROM GOING DOWN… MAELSTROM LIFTS HIM UP HIGHER FOR A POWER BOMB….
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom’s powerbomb feels like every bone in your back has broken simultaneously.
BRANDON JACOBS: BUT NO! EDMUNDS REPOSITIONS HIMSELF AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A SUNSET FLIP!
VIC WATERS: Finally Edmunds gets Maelstrom down!
BRANDON JACOBS: The ref goes down to count! 1---------------------------------------------------2------------------------------------- MAELSTROM KICKS OUT!
VIC WATERS: That has to be frustrating for Edmunds, he finally gets him down and he can’t get the three.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds gets up and he grabs the arms of Maelstrom and HE TRYING TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A CRUCIFIX….
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds is using good old fashioned wrestling here and that is what he is going to need to beat Maelstrom because he can’t go toe to toe with Maelstrom in a fight, a man who self professed likes to hurt people.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS IS TRYING TO SLIDE MAELSTROM’S ARMS DOWN BUT MAELSTROM IS USING HIS POWER TO BACKSLIDE EDMUNDS DOWN ON HIS OWN AND HE IS GETTING THE BETTER OF EDMUNDS!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom’s power is just too much for Edmunds.
BRANDON JACOBS: MAELSTROM TAKES EDMUNDS SHOULDERS DOWN TO THE MAT! The ref goes down to count! 1-----------------------------------------------------2------------------------- IRON LION RUNS IN AND BREAKS UP THE THREE!
JONATHAN MARX: Great save by Iron Lion, Maelstrom may have gotten him otherwise.
VIC WATERS: Iron Lion moves well for a big man.
BRANDON JACOBS: MAELSTROM GETS UP AND MAELSTROM AND IRON LION ARE EXCHANGING PUNCHES BACK AND FORTH!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom seems to have taken exception to Iron Lion running in.
VIC WATERS: Maelstrom and Edmunds were going at it mano y mano and then Iron Lion decided to but in.
BRANDON JACOBS: LINDSAY TROY IS YELLING AT THE REFEREE TO GET IRON LION OUT OF THE RING! The referee is trying to persuade Iron Lion to go back to his corner…. EDMUNDS FROM BEHIND GIVES MAELSTROM A NUTSHOT AND MAELSTROM IS BENT OVER IN PAIN!
JONATHAN MARX: That is a blatant disqualification and Edmunds doesn’t need to do those kinds of things, he can wrestle with anyone.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION PUSHES THE REFEREE OUT OF THE WAY AND HE CLOCKS MAELSTROM IN THE HEAD WITH THE YAKUZA KICK AND MAELSTROM GOES DOWN! The referee is now warning Iron Lion to go back to his corner or he is going to be disqualified.
VIC WATERS: The referee has to keep this match from getting out of control because with three men this big and Edmunds’ evil mind which is bigger than any of them, this could get out of control really quickly.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is finally returning to his corner and Edmunds is calling the referee over….. EDMUNDS IS GOING FOR THE COVER ON MAELSTROM!
JONATHAN MARX: This would be so cheap if Edmunds and Iron Lion got the pin this way.
VIC WATERS: When you are facing Maelstrom and Dan Ryan, you have to do everything you can to win.
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee goes down to count! 1---------------------------------2-------------------------- MAELSTROM KICKS OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: He wasn’t as quick that time, that shot to the head really did a number on him.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds picks up Maelstrom and he locks in him a front face lock…. He is dragging him over to his corner…. EDMUNDS HITS THE SWINGING NECKBREAKER ON MAELSTROM!
JONATHAN MARX: They need to keep Maelstrom in their corner and keep a fresh Dan Ryan from tagging in.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds makes the tag to Iron Lion and Iron Lion comes in to work over Maelstrom.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion may be the biggest man Maelstrom has ever faced at near 7’4 and Maelstrom isn’t use to have work with that disadvantage.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion picks Maelstrom up and pushes him into the corner…. IRON LION STARTS KNEEING MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE CHEST REPEATEDLY AND HE IS GOING TO WORK ON THE RIBS OF MAELSTROM!
VIC WATERS: If Iron Lion can wind Maelstrom, maybe he can take some of his fire away.
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom is one of those guys that even when he has taken a beating, that fire never goes out… so Iron Lion better watch himself.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION PICKS UP MAELSTROM…. TRIPLE RIB BREAKER OVER HIS KNEE AND IRON LION IS HOLDING MAELSTROM ON AND PUSHING DOWN WITH ALL HIS MIGHT!
JONATHAN MARX: Who does he think he is, Bane?
VIC WATERS: Bane may show Maelstrom more mercy than Iron Lion is tonight. He has a real vicious streak going.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion is on a mission tonight to prove he deserves to be among the elite big men in this sport,
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee is checking to see if Maelstrom wants to give up but Maelstrom is yelling at the ref no. Iron Lion lets go of the hold and Maelstrom grabs his ribs in agony.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion and Edmunds now have a pin point to target on Maelstrom.
VIC WATERS: Maelstrom is going to have to take great care to protect himself from taking too many shots in the ribs.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion picks Maelstrom up off of the mat…. HE WHIPS MAELSTROM OFF THE ROPES AND HE CATCHES HIM WITH A HIGH ANGLE SPINEBUSTER PRESSING HIM INTO THE MAT! Maelstrom coughs trying to catch his breath…. IRON LION IS GOING FOR THE COVER!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom may have had his breath knocked out with that shot.
VIC WATERS: Iron Lion may be able to get this one.
BRANDON JACOBS: Lindsay is yelling at Dan Ryan to run in and break up the count. THE REF GOES DOWN TO COUNT THE FALL! 1----------------------------2---------------------------------------- DAN RYAN RUNS IN AND HE BREAKS UP THE COUNT!
JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan would rather be safe than sorry… and so would Lindsay.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION RUSHES DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN CATCHES IRON LION AND DELIVERS A RELEASE BELLY TO BELLY ON IRON LION! GOOD GOD!

JONATHAN MARX: The two giants are battling it out and the heavens are shaking.
VIC WATERS: And nobody had to sell their cow for us to get this match up…
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is getting back up….. DAN RYAN CHARGES IRON LION WITH A CLOTHESLINE AND THE ROPES SNAP AND BOTH MEN GO UP AND OVER AND CRASH DOWN TO THE FLOOR!

JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion is the legal man, they have to get these two separated and get Iron Lion back into the ring before this turns into sheer anarchy.
VIC WATERS: It may be a bit too late, one side of the ropes are gone.
BRANDON JACOBS: Lindsay runs over to Dan Ryan’s side to see if he is okay…. She is trying to help up Dan Ryan. Iron Lion is beginning to get up as well…. IRON LION CHARGES DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY…. IRON LION KNOCKS LINDSAY TROY DOWN ON THE GROUND AND SHE APPEARS TO BE OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: Someone better get her some help.
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee is coming out to check on Lindsay after what Iron Lion did. IRON LION AND DAN RYAN ARE EXCHANGING PUNCHES BACK AND FORTH! Dan Ryan grabs the arm of arm lion AND HE IS GOING TO IRISH WHIP INTO THE GUARDRAIL…. NO! IRON LION REVERSES IT AND HE WHIPS DAN RYAN RIGHT INTO THE REFEREE AND DAN RYAN LANDS ON TOP OF HIM!
JONATHAN MARX: God damn, now the referee is down.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is grabbing the steel steps and he lifts them up over his head…. HE IS GOING TO DROP THEM ON DAN RYAN!
VIC WATERS: What does Iron Lion have against Dan Ryan?
JONATHAN MARX: Who knows, but it must be something.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom is coming out now and he has a chair…
JONATHAN MARX: It is payback time for Iron Lion…
BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, LONESTAR AND DICK ARE COMING OUT OF THE CROWD AND THEY ATTACK MAELSTROM FROM BEHIND WITH A COWBELL UPSIDE THE HEAD!
JONATHAN MARX: These are the same degenerate cowboys who almost killed Manson earlier.
BRANDON JACOBS: DICK IS TYING THE BULLROPE AROUND MAELSTROM’S NECK AND THEY ARE DRAGGING MAELSTROM INTO THE CROWD! Meanwhile Iron Lion still has the stairs and he got distracted by all the action behind…. DAN RYAN IS GETTING BACK UP AND HE KICKS THE STEEL STAIRS RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF IRON LION!
JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan looks very mad, like he wants to hurt someone, namely Iron Lion.
BRANDON JACOBS: Wait a second….. HERE COMES SHERRI AND SHE JUMPS ONTO THE BACK OF DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN IS FIGHTING TO GET HER OFF!
JONATHAN MARX: I bet that isn’t the first time Sherri has jumped a man.
VIC WATERS: Hey now…
BRANDON JACOBS: DAN RYAN BACKS HER APRON AND SITS SHERRI ON THE APRON! Dan Ryan is warning her to stay out of his business….. WAIT A SECOND, HERE COMES EDMUNDS FROM BEHIND WITH A CHAIR…. HE CRACKS DAN RYAN OVER THE HEAD WITH IT!
VIC WATERS: Edmunds was swinging that chair like David Ortiz.
BRANDON JACOBS: OH MY GOD, DAN RYAN IS STILLING STANDING! Edmunds looks at the chair and throws it done and runs to the other side of the ring.
VIC WATERS: I’d run too.
BRANDON JACOBS: DAN RYAN IS COMING AFTER EDMUNDS AND SHERRI IS IN THE RING TELLING HIM TO WATCH OUT BECAUSE HE IS RIGHT ON HIS HEELS….. wait, what is happening why is everyone turning to the back?
JONATHAN MARX: EL ARCO IRIS IS RUNNING DOWN TO RINGSIDE AND HE IS IN THE RING ALL ALONE WITH SHERRI! El Arco Iris just put Sherri over his shoulder and it looks like he is heading to the back.
VIC WATERS: Why in god’s name is El Arco Iris kidnapping Sherri?
JONATHAN MARX: Maybe this is all related to what happened earlier on when El Arco Iris snapped on Luster, Shawn Hart, Golem, and Rat Fink…. He did have the name Psycho on that paper… GOOD GOD, EL ARCO IRIS IS USING SHERRI AS A BARGAINING CHIP!
VIC WATERS: That little bastard is finally wising up.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds stops running when he sees what is happening… HE SLIDES INTO THE RING AND SLIDES OUT AND GOES AFTER EL ARCO IRIS TO THE BACK! A confused Dan Ryan is looking on wondering what the hell is happening….
JONATHAN MARX: Oh no, look what Lonestar and Dick are doing to Maelstrom….
BRANDON JACOBS: LONESTAR HAS A LEATHER WHIP AND HE IS WHIPPING MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE BACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CROWD AS PEOPLE ARE FLEEING AWAY FROM THESE TWO!
LONESTAR: GET OUTTA MY DERN COUNTRY PANDORIAN!
BRANDON JACOBS: LONESTAR IS SITTING ON THE BACK OF MAELSTROM AND HE PUTS THE BULLWHIP AROUND MAELSTROM’S NECK AND HE IS TRYING TO CHOKE HIM OUT! Maelstrom fans are throwing trash at the two Texans trying to get to leave him alone.
JONATHAN MARX: This has just gotten so out of control…
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is sneaking around the ring behind Dan Ryan and he is climbing up to the top rope…. IRON LION FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND HE HITS DAN RYAN WITH A MISSILE DROPKICK!
JONATHAN MARX: This is how all this chaos originally started.
VIC WATERS: I don’t think there is any hope of order ever being resumed.
BRANDON JACOBS: Dan Ryan is down! Now Iron Lion has to do is put him away… IRON LION IS CALLING FOR THE PRIDE HAMMER!
JONATHAN MARX: If he hits this, it is all over.
VIC WATERS: The question is can he get Dan Ryan up for it.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION TRIES TO GET DAN RYAN UP BUT DAN RYAN IS FIGHTING IT…. DAN RYAN BACK BODY DROPS IRON LION DOWN TO THE MAT!
JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan has the heart of a champion, he never goes down without a fight.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is getting back up…. DAN RYAN KICKS IRON LION IN THE MIDSECTION…. HE PICKS HIM UP AND NAILS HIM WITH THE HUMILITY BOMB IN THE DEAD CENTER OF THE RING!

JONATHAN MARX: Now if there was only a referee to make the count.
BRANDON JACOBS: Dan Ryan walks over to the ropes, Lindsay Troy is trying to wake up the referee after just waking up moments ago herself….
JONATHAN MARX: Thank god Lindsay is there to help.
BRANDON JACOBS: Lindsay picks up the referee and she is rolling him into the ring.
VIC WATERS: I can’t believe Edmunds up and left his partner. It is going to cost Iron Lion the match.
JONATHAN MARX: Sherri was kidnapped, regardless of how evil Edmunds is, they have a relationship which can’t be put into words.
BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, SOMEONE IN A LAURA BUSH MASH HAS JUMPED THE RAIL AND SHE IS COMING INTO THE RING WITH A CHAIR!
VIC WATERS: She certainly isn’t built like the first lady.
JONATHAN MARX: No, she has a little more on top.
BRANDON JACOBS: LAURA BUSH WHACKS RYAN OVER THE HEAD WITH A CHAIR AND RYAN FALLS DOWN LIKE HE HAS BEEN SHOT! Laura Bush drags the unconscious Iron Lion over Dan Ryan and rolls out of the ring.
JONATHAN MARX: This must be part of some vast right wing conspiracy.
BRANDON JACOBS: The ref is waking up, he goes down to make the count! Maelstrom and Lonestar are still fighting in the stands. 1--------------------------------------------------------------2------------------------------------------------------------------3!
RING ANNOUNCER: The winner of the match…. SEAN EDMUNDS AND IRON LION!
BRANDON JACOBS: LINDSAY TROY RUNS OVER AND SHE JUMPS ONTO THE BACK OF LAURA PUSH! She is trying to pull the mask off as Laura is trying to escape…. LINDSAY PULLS OFF THE MASK…. IT IS JARED WELLS IN DRAG! Jared Wells shakes her off and he escapes through the crowd.
JONATHAN MARX: LOVE has screwed over Inner Circle.
VIC WATERS: You just know this is going to lead to no good.
BRANDON JACOBS: Security is coming to break up the fight in the stands between Lonestar and Maelstrom… THEY ARE PRYING LONESTAR AND DICK OFF MAELSTROM….. Maelstrom’s back is all red, they really did a number on him…. MAELSTROM IS TRYING TO GET UP AND HE IS SLOWING WALKING TOWARDS LONESTAR AND DICK WHO ARE NOW TRYING TO ESCAPE THROUGH THE CROWD!
JONATHAN MARX: They better hope Maelstrom doesn’t catch them or they are dead meat.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom is running after them and people are clearing out of the way.
JONATHAN MARX: This Lonestar sure is making a lot of enemies.
BRANDON JACOBS: We are being told there is breaking news in the Sherri kidnapping…

(Edmunds tosses some of the furniture in his lockerroom around.)
EDMUNDS: WHAT THE F*CK DOES HE WANT??
CHRIS WINK: He has locked himself in the locker room with Sherri. He wants the WFW North American Title and he won’t release Sherri until he gets it.
(Edmunds drops to the floor.)
EDMUNDS: He wants the godd*mn title? I’ll put him in that match … the Christmas Surprise Match … Psycho … John Doe and Rocko Daymon … but he’ll pay for taking my Sherri... HE’LL PAY.
(Edmunds starts searching around on the ground..)
EDMUNDS: I need something to calm my nerves ….
(He throws up his hands..)
EDMUNDS: GOD DAMMIT …. HE HAS HER PURSE, TOO!!!!
CHRIS WINK: Don’t worry, I’ll go in and talk him down. I’ll comeback with Sherri.
EDMUNDS: She…. means the world to me Wink.
CHRIS WINK: I know, don’t worry… I’ll get her back…. EL ARCO IRIS, LET ME IN, I AM HERE TO TALK!
::the door opens up and Wink goes in::
BRANDON JACOBS: Folks, we have to take a commercial break, but when we comeback, hopefully everything will be settled…. STAY TUNED!
BRANDON JACOBS: Sean Edmunds and Iron Lion aren’t the most likely of partners, they have been bickering back and forth over who deserves a title shot and who doesn’t. But tonight, in order to win this match against Inner Circle, they are going to have to work as a team if they want to beat Maelstrom and Dan Ryan.
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom and Dan Ryan are going to be tough to beat. They may not go out every night and drink together, but they are bound together by a business relationship both men want to succeed. They are going to do everything in their power to send Edmunds and Iron Lion home with their tail between their legs.
VIC WATERS: What makes things even worse is that it was El Arco Iris who forced these men to team up, the same man who was the very first person to beat Iron Lion here in WFW. Don’t think Iron Lion doesn’t remember that.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion seems be a new man. He has a whole new ideology on life.
JONATHAN MARX: In wrestling, you take your bumps and you become the person that you are going to be. Everything happens for a reason.
VIC WATERS: While Edmunds is a former WFW World Heavyweight Champion, he is clearly the smallest man in the match and you can sense both Maelstrom and Dan Ryan will work to isolate Edmunds and try to finish him off.
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds career has had many peaks and valleys here in WFW, but what makes him so great is when he has those peaks, he is among the elite of the elite. I would put Edmunds among any of the alltime greats as his best. If he could ever just avoid falling into those valleys as far as he does, he would be even more of a force than he is.
VIC WATERS: We all saw how Maelstrom took it to Wells and Ryan stood side by side with Copycat against Psycho & Michaels. Both Edmunds and Iron Lion will have to be at the peak of their game to beat these and even then it isn’t even a sure thing.
BRANDON JACOBS: Folks, lets send this down to ringside and get this match underway!

(Thunderous crowd pop)
(CUT TO: 'Ego Buster' flashes across the screen in rapid contrasting black and white. CUT TO: Dan Ryan gorrilla presses Kevin Powers from inside the ring to the floor below. CUT TO: The word "YOU" flashes on the screen. CUT TO: Dan Ryan throws 'Living Legend' Mark Windham from the second level of Key Arena down to the first level. CUT TO: the word "ARE". CUT TO: Dan Ryan clotheslines 'Cocky' Craig Miles, nearly taking his head off. CUT TO: the word "BUSTED" CUT TO: rapid shots of Dan Ryan pulverizing opponents with the Humility Bomb, a last ride power bomb landing high angle on the neck.)
(Ryan walks down to ringside with Lindsay Troy at his side as pyro erupts along the ramp beside him. He rolls under the bottom rope and climbs a corner turnbuckle and simply glares through the sunglasses into the crowd.)

:: Edmunds comes down to the ring accompanied by Sherri and enters the ring to the loud boos from the crowd::

RING ANNOUNCER: And his opponent, a member of the Inner Circle, the former and greatest GLCW Heavyweight Champion of Alltime, from Pandora, Island….. MAELSTROM!
::Maelstrom comes down to the ring to the ovation of the crowd and enters the ring::
*bell rings*
BRANDON JACOBS: Both sides are talking to their partners and they agree that Maelstrom and Edmunds will start off the match.
JONATHAN MARX: This is a good decision, as well conditioned as Dan Ryan and Iron Lion are, bigger men get tired faster.
VIC WATERS: To the best of my knowledge, these two haven’t faced off since their WWWL days and that was awhile ago.
JONATHAN MARX: When you get back into the ring with an old opponent, it all comes right back to you. I am sure these two have been reviewing tapes and brushing up on each other in order to get prepared for this match.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom walks to the center of the ring and he extends his arms to Edmunds for a lock up. Edmunds is looking a little weary.
JONATHAN MARX: There may be wrestlers bigger, but Maelstrom is clearly the strongest wrestler I have ever faced. When he rips into you, he really rips into you.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds walks up Maelstrom to lock up….. but he pulls them back and walks away with second thoughts.
VIC WATERS: Wise man, he could have gotten himself killed.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds turns around to the crowd and points to his head….. MAELSTROM COMES FROM BEHIND AND GRABS EDMUNDS BY THE HAIR AND YANKS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
JONATHAN MARX: That will teach Edmunds not to turn his back to Maelstrom.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds is grabbing the back of his neck and he is inching away from Maelstrom…… MAELSTROM GRABS THE FEET OF EDMUNDS AND HE STARTS SPINNING HIM AROUND AND AROUND IN A GIANT SWING!
VIC WATERS: He is going to be awfully dizzy when this finally stops.
JONATHAN MARX: If Maelstrom can throw off Edmunds equilibrium, he might be able to take away Edmunds’ speed advantage.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom finally lets go and Edmunds crashes down on the mat! Edmunds is trying to get up but he is stumbling all over the place.
VIC WATERS: Edmunds is still a little bit liquored up from before, but thankfully enough time has passed where he doesn’t look like Mike Lane did against Christian Sands.
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds has a high tolerance, he spent some of his best years with Jared Wells on the road and he has tremendous… conditioning.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom kicks Edmunds in the stomach…. AND HE IS LIFTING HIM UP IN A GORILLA PRESS OVER HIS HEAD TO THE HEAVENS! Maelstrom is now bench pressing Edmunds over his head…. HE DROPS EDMUNDS DOWN TO THE MAT AND EDMUNDS CRASHES DOWN RIGHT ON HIS FACE!
JONATHAN MARX: The power of Maelstrom never ceases to amaze me.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom is going down for a cover! The ref goes down to count! 1------------------------------------------------------2---------------------------------- EDMUNDS MANAGES TO KICK OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: That was close, Edmunds has to learn how to better counter Maelstrom power if Edmunds and Iron Lion want to give these two a run for their money.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom picks Edmunds off the mat…… EDMUNDS POPS MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE HEAD WITH A FOREARM SHOT AND CATCHES MAELSTROM OFF GUARD!
VIC WATERS: Edmunds sensing the impending doom has turned it up a notch.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS JUMPS UP AND HE HITS MAELSTROM WITH A DROPKICK! Maelstrom staggers backwards…. BUT HE DOESN’T GO DOWN!
JONATHAN MARX: It takes a lot of punishment to get Maelstrom off his feet.
VIC WATERS: Edmunds has to be thinking, what does he have to do to get Maelstrom down?
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds get up from the dropkick…. MAELSTROM REGAINS HIS SENSES AND CHARGES EDMUNDS…..
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds is about to have his head taken off.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS JUMPS UP IN THE AIR AND HE CATCHES MAELSTROM WITH A HURRICANRANA….
VIC WATERS: YES!
BRANDON JACOBS: BUT MAELSTROM USES HIS POWER TO KEEP FROM GOING DOWN… MAELSTROM LIFTS HIM UP HIGHER FOR A POWER BOMB….
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom’s powerbomb feels like every bone in your back has broken simultaneously.
BRANDON JACOBS: BUT NO! EDMUNDS REPOSITIONS HIMSELF AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A SUNSET FLIP!
VIC WATERS: Finally Edmunds gets Maelstrom down!
BRANDON JACOBS: The ref goes down to count! 1---------------------------------------------------2------------------------------------- MAELSTROM KICKS OUT!
VIC WATERS: That has to be frustrating for Edmunds, he finally gets him down and he can’t get the three.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds gets up and he grabs the arms of Maelstrom and HE TRYING TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A CRUCIFIX….
JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds is using good old fashioned wrestling here and that is what he is going to need to beat Maelstrom because he can’t go toe to toe with Maelstrom in a fight, a man who self professed likes to hurt people.
BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS IS TRYING TO SLIDE MAELSTROM’S ARMS DOWN BUT MAELSTROM IS USING HIS POWER TO BACKSLIDE EDMUNDS DOWN ON HIS OWN AND HE IS GETTING THE BETTER OF EDMUNDS!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom’s power is just too much for Edmunds.
BRANDON JACOBS: MAELSTROM TAKES EDMUNDS SHOULDERS DOWN TO THE MAT! The ref goes down to count! 1-----------------------------------------------------2------------------------- IRON LION RUNS IN AND BREAKS UP THE THREE!
JONATHAN MARX: Great save by Iron Lion, Maelstrom may have gotten him otherwise.
VIC WATERS: Iron Lion moves well for a big man.
BRANDON JACOBS: MAELSTROM GETS UP AND MAELSTROM AND IRON LION ARE EXCHANGING PUNCHES BACK AND FORTH!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom seems to have taken exception to Iron Lion running in.
VIC WATERS: Maelstrom and Edmunds were going at it mano y mano and then Iron Lion decided to but in.
BRANDON JACOBS: LINDSAY TROY IS YELLING AT THE REFEREE TO GET IRON LION OUT OF THE RING! The referee is trying to persuade Iron Lion to go back to his corner…. EDMUNDS FROM BEHIND GIVES MAELSTROM A NUTSHOT AND MAELSTROM IS BENT OVER IN PAIN!
JONATHAN MARX: That is a blatant disqualification and Edmunds doesn’t need to do those kinds of things, he can wrestle with anyone.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION PUSHES THE REFEREE OUT OF THE WAY AND HE CLOCKS MAELSTROM IN THE HEAD WITH THE YAKUZA KICK AND MAELSTROM GOES DOWN! The referee is now warning Iron Lion to go back to his corner or he is going to be disqualified.
VIC WATERS: The referee has to keep this match from getting out of control because with three men this big and Edmunds’ evil mind which is bigger than any of them, this could get out of control really quickly.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is finally returning to his corner and Edmunds is calling the referee over….. EDMUNDS IS GOING FOR THE COVER ON MAELSTROM!
JONATHAN MARX: This would be so cheap if Edmunds and Iron Lion got the pin this way.
VIC WATERS: When you are facing Maelstrom and Dan Ryan, you have to do everything you can to win.
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee goes down to count! 1---------------------------------2-------------------------- MAELSTROM KICKS OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: He wasn’t as quick that time, that shot to the head really did a number on him.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds picks up Maelstrom and he locks in him a front face lock…. He is dragging him over to his corner…. EDMUNDS HITS THE SWINGING NECKBREAKER ON MAELSTROM!
JONATHAN MARX: They need to keep Maelstrom in their corner and keep a fresh Dan Ryan from tagging in.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds makes the tag to Iron Lion and Iron Lion comes in to work over Maelstrom.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion may be the biggest man Maelstrom has ever faced at near 7’4 and Maelstrom isn’t use to have work with that disadvantage.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion picks Maelstrom up and pushes him into the corner…. IRON LION STARTS KNEEING MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE CHEST REPEATEDLY AND HE IS GOING TO WORK ON THE RIBS OF MAELSTROM!
VIC WATERS: If Iron Lion can wind Maelstrom, maybe he can take some of his fire away.
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom is one of those guys that even when he has taken a beating, that fire never goes out… so Iron Lion better watch himself.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION PICKS UP MAELSTROM…. TRIPLE RIB BREAKER OVER HIS KNEE AND IRON LION IS HOLDING MAELSTROM ON AND PUSHING DOWN WITH ALL HIS MIGHT!
JONATHAN MARX: Who does he think he is, Bane?
VIC WATERS: Bane may show Maelstrom more mercy than Iron Lion is tonight. He has a real vicious streak going.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion is on a mission tonight to prove he deserves to be among the elite big men in this sport,
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee is checking to see if Maelstrom wants to give up but Maelstrom is yelling at the ref no. Iron Lion lets go of the hold and Maelstrom grabs his ribs in agony.
JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion and Edmunds now have a pin point to target on Maelstrom.
VIC WATERS: Maelstrom is going to have to take great care to protect himself from taking too many shots in the ribs.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion picks Maelstrom up off of the mat…. HE WHIPS MAELSTROM OFF THE ROPES AND HE CATCHES HIM WITH A HIGH ANGLE SPINEBUSTER PRESSING HIM INTO THE MAT! Maelstrom coughs trying to catch his breath…. IRON LION IS GOING FOR THE COVER!
JONATHAN MARX: Maelstrom may have had his breath knocked out with that shot.
VIC WATERS: Iron Lion may be able to get this one.

JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan would rather be safe than sorry… and so would Lindsay.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION RUSHES DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN CATCHES IRON LION AND DELIVERS A RELEASE BELLY TO BELLY ON IRON LION! GOOD GOD!

JONATHAN MARX: The two giants are battling it out and the heavens are shaking.
VIC WATERS: And nobody had to sell their cow for us to get this match up…
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is getting back up….. DAN RYAN CHARGES IRON LION WITH A CLOTHESLINE AND THE ROPES SNAP AND BOTH MEN GO UP AND OVER AND CRASH DOWN TO THE FLOOR!

JONATHAN MARX: Iron Lion is the legal man, they have to get these two separated and get Iron Lion back into the ring before this turns into sheer anarchy.
VIC WATERS: It may be a bit too late, one side of the ropes are gone.
BRANDON JACOBS: Lindsay runs over to Dan Ryan’s side to see if he is okay…. She is trying to help up Dan Ryan. Iron Lion is beginning to get up as well…. IRON LION CHARGES DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY…. IRON LION KNOCKS LINDSAY TROY DOWN ON THE GROUND AND SHE APPEARS TO BE OUT!
JONATHAN MARX: Someone better get her some help.
BRANDON JACOBS: The referee is coming out to check on Lindsay after what Iron Lion did. IRON LION AND DAN RYAN ARE EXCHANGING PUNCHES BACK AND FORTH! Dan Ryan grabs the arm of arm lion AND HE IS GOING TO IRISH WHIP INTO THE GUARDRAIL…. NO! IRON LION REVERSES IT AND HE WHIPS DAN RYAN RIGHT INTO THE REFEREE AND DAN RYAN LANDS ON TOP OF HIM!
JONATHAN MARX: God damn, now the referee is down.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is grabbing the steel steps and he lifts them up over his head…. HE IS GOING TO DROP THEM ON DAN RYAN!
VIC WATERS: What does Iron Lion have against Dan Ryan?
JONATHAN MARX: Who knows, but it must be something.
BRANDON JACOBS: Maelstrom is coming out now and he has a chair…
JONATHAN MARX: It is payback time for Iron Lion…
BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, LONESTAR AND DICK ARE COMING OUT OF THE CROWD AND THEY ATTACK MAELSTROM FROM BEHIND WITH A COWBELL UPSIDE THE HEAD!
JONATHAN MARX: These are the same degenerate cowboys who almost killed Manson earlier.
BRANDON JACOBS: DICK IS TYING THE BULLROPE AROUND MAELSTROM’S NECK AND THEY ARE DRAGGING MAELSTROM INTO THE CROWD! Meanwhile Iron Lion still has the stairs and he got distracted by all the action behind…. DAN RYAN IS GETTING BACK UP AND HE KICKS THE STEEL STAIRS RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF IRON LION!
JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan looks very mad, like he wants to hurt someone, namely Iron Lion.
BRANDON JACOBS: Wait a second….. HERE COMES SHERRI AND SHE JUMPS ONTO THE BACK OF DAN RYAN AND DAN RYAN IS FIGHTING TO GET HER OFF!
JONATHAN MARX: I bet that isn’t the first time Sherri has jumped a man.
VIC WATERS: Hey now…
BRANDON JACOBS: DAN RYAN BACKS HER APRON AND SITS SHERRI ON THE APRON! Dan Ryan is warning her to stay out of his business….. WAIT A SECOND, HERE COMES EDMUNDS FROM BEHIND WITH A CHAIR…. HE CRACKS DAN RYAN OVER THE HEAD WITH IT!
VIC WATERS: Edmunds was swinging that chair like David Ortiz.
BRANDON JACOBS: OH MY GOD, DAN RYAN IS STILLING STANDING! Edmunds looks at the chair and throws it done and runs to the other side of the ring.
VIC WATERS: I’d run too.
BRANDON JACOBS: DAN RYAN IS COMING AFTER EDMUNDS AND SHERRI IS IN THE RING TELLING HIM TO WATCH OUT BECAUSE HE IS RIGHT ON HIS HEELS….. wait, what is happening why is everyone turning to the back?
JONATHAN MARX: EL ARCO IRIS IS RUNNING DOWN TO RINGSIDE AND HE IS IN THE RING ALL ALONE WITH SHERRI! El Arco Iris just put Sherri over his shoulder and it looks like he is heading to the back.
VIC WATERS: Why in god’s name is El Arco Iris kidnapping Sherri?
JONATHAN MARX: Maybe this is all related to what happened earlier on when El Arco Iris snapped on Luster, Shawn Hart, Golem, and Rat Fink…. He did have the name Psycho on that paper… GOOD GOD, EL ARCO IRIS IS USING SHERRI AS A BARGAINING CHIP!
VIC WATERS: That little bastard is finally wising up.
BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds stops running when he sees what is happening… HE SLIDES INTO THE RING AND SLIDES OUT AND GOES AFTER EL ARCO IRIS TO THE BACK! A confused Dan Ryan is looking on wondering what the hell is happening….
JONATHAN MARX: Oh no, look what Lonestar and Dick are doing to Maelstrom….
BRANDON JACOBS: LONESTAR HAS A LEATHER WHIP AND HE IS WHIPPING MAELSTROM RIGHT IN THE BACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CROWD AS PEOPLE ARE FLEEING AWAY FROM THESE TWO!
LONESTAR: GET OUTTA MY DERN COUNTRY PANDORIAN!
BRANDON JACOBS: LONESTAR IS SITTING ON THE BACK OF MAELSTROM AND HE PUTS THE BULLWHIP AROUND MAELSTROM’S NECK AND HE IS TRYING TO CHOKE HIM OUT! Maelstrom fans are throwing trash at the two Texans trying to get to leave him alone.
JONATHAN MARX: This has just gotten so out of control…
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is sneaking around the ring behind Dan Ryan and he is climbing up to the top rope…. IRON LION FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND HE HITS DAN RYAN WITH A MISSILE DROPKICK!
JONATHAN MARX: This is how all this chaos originally started.
VIC WATERS: I don’t think there is any hope of order ever being resumed.
BRANDON JACOBS: Dan Ryan is down! Now Iron Lion has to do is put him away… IRON LION IS CALLING FOR THE PRIDE HAMMER!
JONATHAN MARX: If he hits this, it is all over.
VIC WATERS: The question is can he get Dan Ryan up for it.
BRANDON JACOBS: IRON LION TRIES TO GET DAN RYAN UP BUT DAN RYAN IS FIGHTING IT…. DAN RYAN BACK BODY DROPS IRON LION DOWN TO THE MAT!
JONATHAN MARX: Dan Ryan has the heart of a champion, he never goes down without a fight.
BRANDON JACOBS: Iron Lion is getting back up…. DAN RYAN KICKS IRON LION IN THE MIDSECTION…. HE PICKS HIM UP AND NAILS HIM WITH THE HUMILITY BOMB IN THE DEAD CENTER OF THE RING!

JONATHAN MARX: Now if there was only a referee to make the count.
BRANDON JACOBS: Dan Ryan walks over to the ropes, Lindsay Troy is trying to wake up the referee after just waking up moments ago herself….
JONATHAN MARX: Thank god Lindsay is there to help.
BRANDON JACOBS: Lindsay picks up the referee and she is rolling him into the ring.
VIC WATERS: I can’t believe Edmunds up and left his partner. It is going to cost Iron Lion the match.
JONATHAN MARX: Sherri was kidnapped, regardless of how evil Edmunds is, they have a relationship which can’t be put into words.
BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, SOMEONE IN A LAURA BUSH MASH HAS JUMPED THE RAIL AND SHE IS COMING INTO THE RING WITH A CHAIR!
VIC WATERS: She certainly isn’t built like the first lady.
JONATHAN MARX: No, she has a little more on top.
BRANDON JACOBS: LAURA BUSH WHACKS RYAN OVER THE HEAD WITH A CHAIR AND RYAN FALLS DOWN LIKE HE HAS BEEN SHOT! Laura Bush drags the unconscious Iron Lion over Dan Ryan and rolls out of the ring.
JONATHAN MARX: This must be part of some vast right wing conspiracy.
BRANDON JACOBS: The ref is waking up, he goes down to make the count! Maelstrom and Lonestar are still fighting in the stands. 1--------------------------------------------------------------2------------------------------------------------------------------3!
RING ANNOUNCER: The winner of the match…. SEAN EDMUNDS AND IRON LION!
