Wrestler InformationRing Name: Troy Douglas
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 247 lbs
Hailing From: Greensboro, North Carolina
Alignment: Face
Gimmick: He's a regular guy. Really. Troy spent most of his 20s and 30s having his body broken down by the wear and tear of the ring, but in the last several years he's started a family and settled into a new life. He retired a couple years ago, but, feeling he's left a few things unaccomplished and with his two kids now old enough to understand what their dad once did for a living, is ready to step back in the ring for one last run. Personality-wise, he's as nice a guy as you could want to meet -- if a bit on the sarcastic side. A few tragedies in his past left him spending several years closed off from most of the world, but has opened up as he's started a family and is approaching his 40s.
Wrestling Style: A lot flashier in his younger days, Troy has simplified his game as he's gotten older into an arsenal primarily consisting of heavy strikes and impact moves focused on the head, neck and back. He's not fancy, but he's efficient. Troy's focus in the ring is to hit you as hard as possible until you stay down for three seconds -- nothing more, nothing less.
Three Weaknesses:
1. Injury history - At some point in his career, Troy's injured just about everything he possibly could, starting with a severe neck and spine injury that ended his football career.
2. Ring rust - Troy's only worked a handful of matches in the past five years.
3. Stubbornness - Incredibly resilient, but sometimes to the point of excess. There's a reason he's been hurt so many times.
Three Strengths:
1. Veteran savvy - A fan since he was a kid and a wrestler for 15 years, there's little Troy hasn't seen or can't adapt to.
2. Athleticism - For a guy approaching 40, Troy is very nearly as fast and strong as he was in his college days.
3. Resilience - He's got a seemingly superhuman ability to take punishment and fire back up.
