THE HOSS REPORT with Jim Hosselhoff

Greetings, everybody, from under the good ol' Oakland A's cap, and welcome to the first ever edition of the Hoss Report. I'm good ol' Jim Hosselhoff, GXW columnist and erstwhile road agent. In case you're confused as to what the Hoss Report is, it's my little corner of the 'web devoted to analyzing the current goings-on in GXW from my own unique perspective. So without further ado, let's get to it.

2003 looks to be an incredible year for Global X-Treme Wrestling already. We've got some real hosses on the roster this year, and our production crew has been working 'round the clock to produce more shows than ever before.

What a show Revolution was, huh? I couldn't think of a better way to start off the the 2003 season of GXW television.

Interesting to see the formation of the Ratings Boost. Both Eric Davis and Inferno are seasoned veterans full of phenomenal talent. We haven't seen Dean Matthews wrestle a GXW match yet, but I've seen tapes of him in other federations and believe me, he's a hoss.

Solid debut for 'The Italian Bruiser' Reuben Fasco as he defeated Ricky Gant to advance in the King of the Cage. He's a big hoss, and his boxing background makes his striking attacks that much more dangerous.

Lots of bad blood between the Assassins and the World Tag-Team Champions, the Monsta Boyz. I can't wait to see what happens next between these two teams of hosses. I'm damn sure we haven't seen the last of them.

I don't think very many people expected Christian Sands to defeat Randy Cobb, but anything can happen in GXW. Both men are big hosses, but in the end only one hoss can win. As for Sands' unknown attacker, I've done some snooping around and let me just say that the answer to that question might shock you.

Can't wait to see what our Commissioner has up his sleeve for X-Perience.

That Kevin Powers is a real hoss, but I do think his claim that he's the franchise player of GXW is a little childish. Frankly, Powers has let himself slip way down the ladder. His recent sojourns with Gabriel Bane prove that. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Good God takes that big step back to the top of the GXW.

I was surprised to see Triple X in the house at Revolution. I was under the impression that he was signed to a one-night deal to wrestle Gemini and wouldn't appear in GXW after that. I, for one, would be pleased if he decides to stay. He's a hell of a hoss, and lord knows we can never have enough hosses.

Zero may have worked himself into a corner with his comments in regards to Erik Zieba. Logan is one of the prime hosses in this company, and True Living Colours aren't exactly a top team, but with the title changing hands by a DQ or a countout there may be an upset. However, I still think that the champ will walk out of there with his gold. Zero's always defied the odds, and this match should be no exception.

Congratulations to the new Cruiserweight Champion, Zell Hunter. It takes a real hoss to take a beating from three men and still pull out a victory. The question is, can he carry this momentum on to X-Perience and defeat Hellfighter, who's a REAL big hoss?

What a match between Gabriel Poe and Kendall Codine. Both men are hosses of the highest caliber, and they've both earned a lot of respect from this fat Oaklander and from the locker room for their contest on Revolution.

But even more brutal still was the clash between John Miller and Gemini. Miller in particular is a huge hoss, and his win over Gemini puts him one step closer to that title he's struggled for for so long. I have a very good feeling that by December of this year we'll see John Miller holding the GXW Unified World Championship high in victory.

The war between Zero and Chris Lehew continues to enthrall our viewers. I can't wait for the next Revolution. We'll get to see Zero and Lehew go at it in a tag match, with Zero teaming with Rob Sampson and Lehew teaming with a mystery partner. It's gonna be a slobberknocker!

Injury update:

No word yet on Chris Titan's neck injury, but we expect him to be out for quite some time.

Our condolences to out to El Martyr, who was paralyzed after taking a bad bump during his match with Dragon Assassin. El Martyr could certainly have had a great career here, but sometimes bad things do happen to good hosses.

Christian Sands was experiencing some lower back pain after his match with Randy Cobb, but the damage turned out to be superficial. As a precaution, he's being kept out of the ring on the upcoming shows.

I really encourage everyone to come see GXW live. Television simply doesn't do our fabulous hosses justice.

X-Perience and Onslaught come to you live from Belfast this week. Both shows should be phenomenal, and I encourage everyone out there to tune in. You won't want to miss any of the action in GXW!

That's it for this edition of the Hoss Report. Jim Hosselhoff signing off.
