(FADEIN: Straight to Matt Faley in the ring, preparing to announce the next match)

MATT FALEY: "The following tag team match is schedule for one fall. (CUEUP: "Killin Floor" by Body Count) Accompanied to the ring by Sly Sterling, at a combined weight of 600 lbs., Raze and Nuke, GRIDLOCK!!!!

(the crowd gives all three major heat as they walk down the ramp, Sterling eats up all the attention while Gridlock shrugs it off and walks to the ring, a very intense look in both of their eyes, CUEUP: "Breakdown" by Tantric)

M.F.: "And their opponents, at a combined weight of 458 lbs. they are the team of NICK KURTEL AND XANATOS!!!!!"

(crowd gives the two a decent pop, partially because they hate Gridlock as much as they do, the two have a bounce to their step as they jog to the ring, a look of slight apprehension though as the approach the bigger team, they dive straight into the ring)

RICK WISEMAN: "And we’re underway here, as Xanatos dives in the ring, and bounces off the rope, he ducks a clothesline from Nuke, and dives out of the ring, just in time for Kurtel to catch Nuke with a dropkick from the top rope."

TONY ROSS: "Very well executed here in the beginning from Kurtel and Xanatos, they are a new team here in the GLCW, and would have to be considered the heavy underdogs in this match." Kurtel bounces off the ropes again, and hits a nice hurricanrana on the larger Nuke, who seems a bit dazed. Both men now make the tag."

R.W.: "Interesting strategy from Kurtel and Xanatos, taking it to the larger member of Gridlock, that’s always a very risky move."

T.R.: "Raze and Xanatos now in, and they exchange a few blows. Raze has Xanatos in a side armbar, but Xanatos flips out, but walks right into a Raze clothesline! Raze hits the tope and drops a knee onto Xanatos. He’s the tag back to Nuke. He picks up Xanatos, but Xanatos struggles out, small package, 1-2- and Nuke just kicked out! That seemed to enrage the big man, scoop and a slam on Xanatos!"

R.W.: "Nuke is now in control, he grabs Xanatos, but Xanatos, goes right through his legs and makes the tag to Kurtel, another big top rope dropkick onto Nuke!! Nuke staggers back up, TORNADO DDT! And again the big man is staggered, here’s a cover, 1-2-and Nuke just got out!"

T.R.: "It seems as though Kurtel and Xanatos could be on the verge of a major upset here Rick."

R.W.: "It appears as though Gridlock wasn’t ready for their quickness! Here’s a running lariat by Kurtel that staggers the big man, and yet another dropkick takes him down. Raze now enters the ring unannounced and clobbers Kurtel, but here’s Xanatos with a clothesline off his own, sending Raze out of the ring. Xanatos is looking at Nuke who is prone in the ring, SABRESLICE ONTO NUKE! Xanatos just ran diagonally to the opposite turnbuckle and did a back flip onto Nuke!!"

T.R.: "And now Kurtel is back up Rick, and THERE’S THE FOLLY! A 450 SPLASH ONTO NUKE! 1-2-3!!! WHAT AN UPSET!!" (CUEUP: "Breakdown" by Tantric)

MATT FALEY: Here are your winners, NICK KURTEL AND XANATOS!! (crowd gives a really good pop to the two as they celebrate in the ring, while Sly Sterling is spellbound at ringside)

T.R.: "That is one of the bigger upsets we’ve seen here at Riptide Rick, and a huge win here for Rick Kurtel and Xanatos!"

R.W.: "I foresee a bright future for these two, and this could be the springboard for great things."

(CUTTO: Mike Manson in the back with a jar of peanut butter in his hand)

T.R.: "What on Earth is Mike Manson doing with a jar of peanut butter?"

R.W.: "I have no idea, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. O’Neill vs. Maelstrom, with Manson as the guest referee is next! We’ll be right back!"
