Redemption...or so it seems
Note: I know UBVI has passed but if you know about my father by now, I just want everyone to know that this RP couldnt make it because of that fact. Even though its too late, it wouldnt hurt to see it posted regardless. Also, Derek, if you get to read this, please contact me ASAP.
(Crystal Lake. Another of the retreats for EUWC’s most elusive and most dominant superstar, Lord Alucard. The camera shows the exterior of the forest and then his cabin which dissolves into the inside. Right on top of the fireplace is a projector screen, on which, Sean Taylor’s recent promo is being displayed.
Taylor: I promise you, Alucard, that you will go down. I promise that you will taste defeat at the hands of Sean Taylor. You could have avoided all of this by simply apologizing for interfering in my match at Summer Sizzler. But instead you refused and now you too will learn the same thing of my fallen opponents learn.
(As this is being heard, the camera pans slowly to the opposite side of the screen where the projector is on a trolley. Under it is a computer CPU which is connected to the projector, along with the usual mouse and keyboard. And right next to this arrangement, sitting on a comfortable easy chair, is the master of the house himself. Lord Alucard is watching the promo very intently, but still looking as calm as ever.)
Taylor: That the rules can only work for one of us.
(Alucard sighs and then gives out his trademark grin and rests his head on the chair.)
Alucard: Taylor, you really are amazing. Even in the face of certain death, you will act as if you’re playing children’s games. If I had a hat, I would take it off and bow before you and you’re spirit. But unfortunately for you and for everyone else, I don’t have one and believe me, bowing before someone is something I have never done, and something I don’t intend to do as long as I have a breath in my body.
(Alucard picks up the keyboard and presses a few keys till the camera goes back to the projector screen over Alucard’s shoulder. The projector screen shows Taylor giving his speech and then paused still.)
Alucard: I don’t really know if any of those things that you’ve blamed on me are true. Personally, I can’t remember any of those things. You can’t expect a conqueror to perform all of his conquests in the most tremendous manner and actually expect to remember all of them. However, why do I find that I can’t recall doing any of those things? Bad memory? No Sean. The only reason is that those things aren’t as nearly as important as some of the things of greater magnitude. Some of those are, defeating nearly the entire EUWC roster one by one including the so-called “established legends of their times.” Becoming EUWC World Champion and holding it for longer than any other EUWC Superstar has ever held it. Delivering matches that people would be frightened of participating in, but once I enter those realms, none of my opponents have left without suffering injuries and of course, defeat. The Hell in the cell match with Doom, followed by me destroying him in a ladder match. The last man standing match with Damian Stone, followed by the TLC match along with T-Charger. And of course, I’m sure you remember the Elimination Chamber match, don’t you Sean? All of these matches have a few things in common. Not only did I emerge victorious in all of them, but as always, I emerged most dominant.
However just because of my indefinite absence, many people have started to believe that my days are up and the mountain is just too hard for me to climb again. They think I can’t remain most dominant. Not only that, they claim that I need to regain that title, but just can’t.
(Alucard gets up and walks towards the screen, the projection hitting his frame.)
Alucard: What’s your mistake in all of this Sean? Simple. You, unfortunately, are one of those people who I need to prove myself to. Yet there was a time when you needed to prove yourself to me. But now, in your eyes, and in the eyes of the entire world, you have nothing to prove. You have established yourself in the upper echelon of the EUWC, thereby making you as credible as you should be. You have worked hard to get to where you are right now. You too have made sacrifices in the path to success you were on. And your achievements are indeed laudable.
But Sean, at Ultra Brawl VI, no matter what any one says, I will be challenging not only you, and not only for your EUWC International Championship, and not just the fact that you are poised to break your all-important record. But for everything you have ever done in your illustrious career. Everything that you hold dear will have to stand against a man who ‘needs’ to redeem himself in the eyes of the entire world. And unfortunately, in your eyes too.
(Alucard walks away from the screen and the scene fades to black, with Sean Taylor still being projected on the screen.)
