PRIME will kick off its 2009 schedule in Phoenix, Arizona as the US Airways Center will host ReVolution 182 on Wednesday, January 14th! Fresh off their King of Kings Pay-Per-View, which saw Jason Snow become the latest Jewel in the Crown winner and Chandler Tsonda defeat Danny Ferguson to retain his Universal Title, PRIME will start its march towards Culture Shock and Dual Halo with a huge tag-team match in the main event that features the two finalist in the Jewel in the Crown tournament.
Tyler Rayne, the 2008 Dual Halo Winner, and Brock Shepherd, one of the newest members of the PRIME roster, will team up for the first time ever as they go up against Jason Snow and the returning Tony Gamble. Snow and Gamble have a history with one another after being in **** You together during the group's tenure in 2007, and it will be the first time the two have been together since the stable's demise. This will be the first time Rayne and Snow have faced off with one another since their historic battle in Miami, FL and it's sure to be a match for all to see. Will Rayne be out to get a win over Snow or will the 2008 Jewel in the Crown winner start his march towards Chandler Tsonda with another victory over the Underground Pimp.
On that same evening, the 5-Star Championship will be put up for grabs as High Flyer will put his title on the line against the fresh new #1 Contender to the 5-Star Championship in Bryan "The Flyin' Hawaiian" Dawkins! Dawkins managed to pull off the huge victory over Dusk at King of Kings and seems to be wasting no time in cashing in his chance at the 5-Star Title by squaring off against the Friendly Neighborhood Lunatic. Will Dawkins, considered by many to be the potential breakout star of 2009, start his year off right and take the 5-Star Championship away from High Flyer, or will Flyer defeat Dawkins to put to rest the early talks of Dawkins taking the title away from him?
In other action, the brand spankin' new Tag Team Champions, D.U.I., will be in action against Enemigos III and IV. With Duke Williams filling in for the suspended Colby Korver, D.U.I has been a force to be reckoned with after defeating Team VIAGRA for the Tag-Team Titles. Now, this team will be put to the test to see if they're worthy of their titles.
Also, the returning Hessian, newly signed Fusenshoff, and The Eternal Flame Jay Phoenix will do battle in a triangle match that is sure to light the Arizona Desert on Fire! Plus, tune in to see the Universal Champion Chandler Tsonda as he addresses his epic battle with Danny Ferguson that required medical attention, and his new challenger in Jason Snow.
