I'm surprised you lasted that long ... I stopped during the whole Austin / McMahon debacle.
That's about when I stopped ordering WWF PPVs and strictly ordered ECW. Actually, I think the last WWF PPV I paid for was Wrestlemania 14. After that, I'd watch RAW and Nitro, but only really gave a sh*t about ECW. Plus the Montreal Screwjob left a bad taste in my mouth, and I was (still am) a huge Bret Hart fan.
Getting back to TNA, they need to get rid of that stupid f*cking ring, tell the wrestlers to stop poorly telegraphing every damn move, get announcers who aren't piss poor terrible, and perform in front of an audience that doesn't sound like a bunch of retards giving canned applause. They don't cheer, they yell "HOOOORRRAAAAY!" God TNA is terrible. As bad as WWE is, at least they look professional. CM Punk is the only guy worth watching for my money, because he has great psychology and can work the mic with the best of them. I showed a couple people the YouTube clips where he runs down Jeff Hardy for being an addict, and they asked me if it was real (not smark types, obviously). THAT'S how you know when your stuff is really getting over.
I say this as someone who has sporadically followed wrestling since 2001: when Vince bought ECW, he should have simply balanced the books, gave them the better workers from WCW's roster (including the guys who Bischoff siphoned off from them), and allowed Paul Heyman free reign to book how he wanted.
