The Awakening...

(Cue Up: "Killin Floor" by Body Count, as footage of the dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima appears on screen. Cut to: Footage of a horde of germans, sprinting across a field, trying to desperately to cross to the other side of Berlin during WWII. Several are shot down, while one person's head is flung back violently after getting caught in some razor wire on the barrier. Suddenly, a familiar voice interjects.)

Voice: "Throughout it's history, our world has known great destruction..."

(Cut to: Footage of Buster Douglas, knocking Mike Tyson to the mat in their championship bout in the early 90's. Cut to: Bulls vs. Warriors, 1997, as Dennis Rodman clinches down on John Starks with almost a headlock-like maneuver, then drops him to the court. Cut to: Footage of the Dale Earnhardt crash.)

Voice: "In the world of sport, a world that is supposed to be one of recreation... one of entertainment, it is no different..."

(Cut to: The silohuettes of two men, throwing another through a table. Cut to: Sly Sterling, standing alone in a blackened room.)

Sterling: "Because wether we like it... or NOT, DESTRUCTION... is a fact of life!"

(Cut to: Footage of two crocodiles, fighting over a mangled piece of flesh in the evrglades. Cut to: Footage of the L.A. riots. Cut back to Sterling.)

Sterling: "As good as things may seem, CHAOS... is always around the corner...."

(Raze, and Nuke, collectively known as GRIDLOCK step from out of the shadows and stand behind Sterling.)

Sterling: "You think it's been bad so far? Heh... the REAL CHAOS, has yet to begin!!!"

(Cut to: Footage of a New York City traffic jam. Suddenly, the tape melts and the word 'GRIDLOCK appears over the black screen in blood red. Fade to black.)
