SHANE SOUTHERN: " It's beena' whirlwind since tha' announcement of the Anniversary Card by Commissioner Merritt. People been comin' up ta' me on tha' street n' sayin' "good luck" n' "we're pullin' for ya'". They ask if I'm suprised at where I'm at so soon after comin' back to tha' CSWA...n' they ask if I'm gonna' be Eddy Love's tag team partner. I suppose I could say what's expected of me. I suppose I could tell 'em all that yes, it's quite n' honer ta' be where I'm, n' yeah...I've been real lucky so far...n' no, I'm not gonna' be Love's partner. But frankly, I'd be lyin', well except about bein' Love's partner. {{..smiles..}} I don't believe in luck. I got in this match 'cause I showed tha' world what I'm capable of at Showtime in New Orleans when I pinned Aho's shoulders to tha' mat. I showed what I can do in that tag match at Primetime when Aho n' beat tha' New Suicide Squad. "

" Wicked Sight. What can I say about ya'. Yer good my man. You are good. I've watched your career here, and I've got no reason ta' believe I can out wrestle ya'...but I do. I've got no reason ta' think that after I've been here three months and you three years that I should be at your level much less defeat you...but I do. But hey {{...shrugs...}} that's me. Yeah, you've paid yer dues, and ya' probably deserve it more than I do, yet I still think I can win. Not ta' mention there are four other guys in this thing just achin' ta' get their shot at Evan. Your heart and desire is admirable, and I have no doubt you'll getta' shot at wearin' that gold some day...but it's not gonna' be before me. Call it cocky if ya' will, I call it plain n' simple confidence. "

Apparently there's a livin' legend in our midst and he's been snubbed....forced ta' be inna' match with these young guys, these NON legends, n' prove that he actually DESERVES it. Adler, I may mean nothin' to ya' right now, but come very soon I may just be tha' guy that turns yer lights out. Hell, I've only been here a few months but even I know ya' don't get where ya' goin' here by NAME alone...you gotta' EARN it, and from what I've seen of you lately, I don't see it happenin' at Anniversary.
