I see FW Central as a big community and there can with a simple step be created a more interfed atmosphere: there should be only 1 character development forum on the whole board. Every league got his own and in many leagues it doesn't get rarely used anyway. If you put at the end of the League forums a forum for Character Development RPs it will be way better in my opinion instead of every league his own.

Now you could think you'll get confused with too much RPs from different feds in one forum, but everyone would have just to follow 1 simple system: Put your character's fed's initials infront of the RP Title in the Thread title, for example:

[TEAM] Just Insane!
[CSWA] Blah... Blah...
[hWo] Mr. Hardcore~!

etc.

What do you think guys? I think the CD RP forums should merge as fast as possible and it will up the feeling of an community.

I don't think I'd be a fan of this.

1. As a competitor in EPW, WFW, and A1E, I don't have a lot of time to read all these different feds. I have no idea what the CSWA, hWo, EUWC, or any of these other feds are about. Not that I think any less of them, I just haven't had the time to read them. So if I don't read those feds, why would I want to pore through a forum of posts from people in those feds when what they do is going to have no meaning to me? What does someone in EUWC who has absolutely zero involvement in EPW and doesn't read it want to read my posts for?

In the feds that I *do* read and participate in, I'm interested in where the direction of the fed and my potential allies/opponents are going in, so I'll sit down and read those and keep caught up - but there are just too many feds to do that with all of them.

2. For the feds I am in, I read everything in those forums and really don't get involved much elsewhere, so I stick to those forums. To have another forum added would be more places I have to check. Admittedly, it's a small annoyance though.

No offense, but that board would be extremely cluttered...

and probably be renamed the "Gregg Gethard RP board"

I think feds thrive on what happens in their individual forums, and it helps separate them and make them unique.

There's also the problem that each character doesn't always develop the same in each fed they're in. I know when the NWL was still open I had plans to take Brown down one path there, and down the path he's gone in EPW. I could label out of show developments NWL and EPW, but people reading two different stories for the same character would be VERY confused at times IMO. It's a good idea, but I don't think it'd take off.

Just to echo what these guys have been saying, I think the individual feds would start to lose their identities if they didn't have their own character development/out-of-match promo forums. I wouldn't be for this idea, especially if say someone's running a character in two different feds but is a heel in one and a face in the other.

I was going to mention that myself. The differences b/t feds for some characters is quite amazing in some cases.

Yeah, it'd be weird having them all cluttered together, though I guess the idea is pretty original, but in the end would be more annoying then something that's a conveniance.

^ This is true. Individuality strives its best when the members are just involved with their fed. Cluttering all them together, could smother some feds. Depends on how you work it. Could happen, but would need to be done right.
