InfernoDrop

Guest
{2345, 11Apr02. Spokane, Washington. The camera slowly fades in, walking just behind and to the side of Inferno. He looks slightly more rugged than we're used to seeing him look. A five oclock shadow covers his face as if he hasn't shaved for a day or so. A cigarette rests easily between his lips, the burning embers at the tip of the cigarette casting a slightly red glow on the man's face. His brown leather trench coat billows out behind him as he walks, exposing his baggy cargo pants and tight fitting black EHW t shirt. His hands are shoved into the pockets of the pants as he makes his way across an intersection in the darkend city. The street sign above the intersection show that he is crossing East Trent Avenue as he moves along his way on North Stevens Street heading into a park. He moves inside it's bricked walls, the sign over the entrance marking it as Riverfront Park. As he moves into the park's depths, the light source fades, the starlit sky covered by trees, and the only source of light is the glowing ember of the cigarette. But soon we move into the light again, approaching a bridge crossing a small river of sorts. Inferno pauses on the bridge, resting his elbows on the ledge and peering off into it's depths or beyond. After a moment, he takes a long drag and flicks the cigarette away, the soft red glow disappearing into the darkness below. Another moment passes and the absent cruiserweight speaks.}

IN: You know, a lot of people seem to hate me now for what I did a few months back, but they don't seem to understand that I could give a flyin' rat's a**. I mean, where have the fans ever got me? Nowhere. When was the last time I've seen actual gold. It's been way to long. I've paid my dues all my life and now it's time to reap the rewards. I've taken beatings that no man should be subjected to, and you know what? I smiled back and kept on coming. I'm gonna take the Cruiserweight Division...my division...into the spotlight, lifting it from the unworthy hands of Eric Davis...

{Inferno pauses as the name leaves his chapped lips. A slight smile crosses his features as he reaches a fingerless gloved hand up to scratch at his gruff chin.}

IN: Damn. There's someone I havn't thought of for a long time. But anyways, it's time to take back what I deserve. GXW Cruiserweight title. It's time to get extreme on Davis and Kin Hiroshi...the only two in that division that seem to give a f**k. It's time for me to leave my mark in GXW. I know I havn't really established a name for myself in the GX dub fan base, beyond what was made in the NthWA and EWI, but what starts as a ripple soon turns into a wave. My time has come, GXW, and when I rock the foundations of the Cruiserweight Division, GXW will never be the same. 'nuff said.

{Inferno offers the camera a wink before moving off down the bridge, walking off into the distance, leaving the camera man behind. As he disappears into the darkness, the camera pans around, seeing movements just beyond sight. The camera shakes a bit before dropping to the ground. The last view the camera sees is the cameraman in full flight from a trio of hoodlums. Fade to static.}
