Hey everyone. Let me first start off by introducing myself. My name is Shawn, I'm 33 years old and I've been a part of this game since 1997. I've dibbled as a handler (my character was mainly The Diamond Kid, running in Kingdom Fantasy Wrestling, All Star Wrestling and Meaningless Violence Wrestling) and as a fed owner throughout this time, and haven't been an active roleplayer since 2007. During that time I remember coming across Fwrestling.com and many people who were roleplaying used this site as a host for a while there, but I never got froggy enough to jump into the fray to get into the community.

I officially opened my own promotion, Outsider Wrestling Federation, in August 1998; and since then we have been up and down, with most of our stronger years coming since 2007. In this latest run we have been active since early 2012, and are still producing at a high quality; with a great core of roleplayers and me writing all the matches for the shows. I'm incredibly proud of what we are doing, which is why I keep doing it even as my life gets busier and busier. I love having roster members post roleplays they care about for matches they took a part in building an angle around, with segments leading up to a big showdown; and then sitting down after deadline to write a match worthy of both writers so that they feel rewarded for what they put into it, win or loss. To come here and see so many people active and to see other promotions being so successful with talent levels I appreciate, it really is great to see the game thriving as it did in prior years. Inside of our own circle we have seen a load of people disappear never to return for whatever reason, and it was sad to see. But it's awesome to see that a lot of people still have a passion for it as I do.

For the future I plan to keep up with the going on's with the promotions I see promoted here, get in on some discussion and really immerse myself in the community; which is something I have never done. It's weird that it is this late in the game that I decide to step out of my box, but here I am. Looking forward to speaking with you, and I do hope you all check out the OWF at the link in my signature to let me know what you think.

That's pretty cool that you've been efedding for that long and you give back to the game. I totally feel you on all counts. I'd love to have my fed at least affiliate with yours. For us old guys it's not so much fighting against each other like we used to. We've got to build up our community and places like fwrestling really help us do that. So if you've got one of those little button banners or w/e, hit me up. I'll throw it up on my main page.

Yeah man, I completely agree. There used to be so much drama back in the day between opposing federations. I definitely was a part of the problem for a while haha. But the drama didn't just end there and while that used to make for some really heated feuds, it also made so many things less fun; and overall became a drain on me as a fedhead. Now with the OWF we are such a close community that wins and losses aren't the priority. We all know that it is about having fun and making something special at such a high level that we can look back and be proud on what we have done. That's why I love this game and why I love writing matches as I do. I'm glad to see you have the same point of view.

I do have an affiliate image, which I'll put just below here. Be sure to link me to your site so I can find a place for you on ours, as well. Thanks!

Thank you so much. Your affiliate banner has been added to my main site. In my opinion, it's really cool to meet like minded individuals. There's not a lot of us in my group right at this moment, but that's who we are. This game needs a lot less drama. I'll try to get registered on your forums tomorrow; I see you have an event in August that we may be interested in participating in. Again, thanks a lot for the affiliation, it's sincerely appreciated.
