Y'all still alive? (Tournament!)
If you are, I have some news.
No, TEAM hasn't gotten any new apps in the last few months, nor are we any closer to starting the actual league than we were in July. Will there be a proper TEAM fed? Maybe, maybe not. I'm going to try and start reorganizing things, including revising the FAQ, getting a snazzier but easy to deal with web design and of course, thinking of new and creative ways to recruit folks to come aboard.
However, that's not the news I have. I actually am announcing that I'm going to do a tournament in the meantime. The TEAM Invitational.
It will be at least a 16 man tournament and at most 32. Anyone who has already joined TEAM has the first preference to be in this little shindig, but it will be open to anyone who wants to enter a character. If you enter a character, you are NOT obligated to enter him into TEAM. This is just for fun, a way to get some crossover matchups and have a little fun while getting me some practice coordinating shows and writing matches with Jess Chapel and The Iron Duke as a broadcast team.
It will be single elimination, March Madness style tournament, so it's one and done if you lose. It will be a roleplay style tournament. I will be one of at most three judges for the roleplay, so of course, I won't be entering any characters. If you want to be a judge, let me know. That won't preclude you from entering your character into the tournament, but that will mean you won't be able to judge any matches your character's in.
Please let me know if you're interested so I know if this thing will get off the ground.
