BLACK ROSE: This is WFW Event Center and my name is Black Rose, and it is time to run down the matches that were recorded EXCLUSIVELY for the Great Expectations DVD earlier tonight.

In our first match of the night, The Cameron Cruise Project defeated the team of Troy Douglas & Bryan Storm. Douglas & Storm objective early in the match was to try to double team Cameron Cruise as much as possible. Cruise somehow managed to fight his way out of trouble and tagged out to Melton who cleaned house and changed the momentum of the match. Cruise was able to score the victory for his team when he caught an off guard Troy Douglas with the Reality Check.

Old school reigned supreme in our second match of the night when the Original Showstoppers defeated the Lonestar Express when Calvin Carlton nailed Dick on the top of the head with his tennis racket. The match was a classic old school tag match that went back and forth with the Lonestar Express looking several times like they were going to get the better of the Showstoppers, but in the end the Showstoppers pulled every dirty trick out of the book to stop them and when Calvin saw his opportunity, he swung for the fences and Frankie Fargo hit dazed Dick with a double arm DDT for the victory.

Our third match of the night featured a very over Felix and Jared Wells, now calling themselves Chemognosis, defeating Thirteen & Pitt under BAD Rules in a no DQ, no countout, falls count anywhere match. Before the match, WFW President Felix Red used the powers of his office to change the stipulations of the match resulting in one of the wildest brawls ever seen in Dublin. The Irish fans were heavily rooting for Wells, who spent most of the day mingling with fans at a local pub near the location of the outdoor show, where they ironically brawled into after going through the crowd. Once in the bar, Thirteen and Pitt gained a quick advantage busting Felix Red’s head into the jukebox. They then double teamed Wells until a bunch of drunken patrons jumped Thirteen and Pitt with beer bottles causing a distraction which bought Wells enough time to regroup and fight them off. Ultimately, Chemognois regained the advantage and Pitt was defeated after he was Ragebombed through a table by Wells and then hit by a Shattered Horizon off of the top of the bar by Felix Red in order to keep him down for the pinfall victory.

And the four and final taped for DVD featured the much talked about debut by former Empire World Heavyweight Champion Beast as the partner taking on the team of recently undefeated Pulsar & Aaron Rage…. Beast looked impressive early on and had the fan support of the crowd, but as the match went on, it began to go back and forth a great deal with story of the match being a white hot Pulsar almost scoring a big upset a couple of times until Lindsay Troy interfered with a kick to the head of Pulsar when the referee had his back turned. Ryan and Beast were working over Pulsar for the pin when Wells, Felix Red, and Anarky ran in and cleaned house of Ryan & Beast. The referee awarded the match via disqualification to the team of Dan Ryan & Beast and they will advance to the second round, but it looks like the war between LOVE and Dan Ryan has only begun.

So as it stands now, in the second round, the team of the Original Showstoppers will go one on one with Jared Wells & Felix Red and the Cameron Cruise Project will face off against two men they are quite familiar with in Dan Ryan and Beast for the right to fight for the WFW World Tag Titles at the Superbowl of Wrestling.

Thanks for joining us at the WFW Control Center, lets send this send this one back to Jacobs and Marley back in the arena!

(ANNOUNCER’S BOOTH)

BRANDON JACOBS: Looks like the show is off to a hot start even before we’ve aired a single match.

JONATHAN MARX: Everyone wants the opportunity to be known as the very first WFW World Tag Champions and that is why even a guy like Pulsar stepped up his game so much when he knew the tag titles were on the line.

VIC WATERS: The desire for gold makes people crazy. I think most of the matches went like I thought they would, but I was surprised at how close some of them were.

BRANDON JACOBS: We still have four tag matches left to go tonight in the first round so the best may be yet to come, but when we comeback, Rocko Daymon will square off against the Silencer and Adam Benjamin…. STAY TUNED EVERYONE!
