BLACK ROSE: Tonight, the WFW World Heavyweight Title will be on the line in a
double steel cage match. I'm here right now with the challenger in that
matchup, Copycat. Copycat, your thoughts going into this matchup that
you've been waiting so, so long for?

COPYCAT: You've been a part of this business a long time, haven't you?
You've seen it all? Well I admit I haven't been around as long as you have,
but I've still seen a lot of stuff in my nine-year career. And yet, for the
past eight of those years, I have not seen the one thing that every wrestler
wants to see in this business -- the heavyweight championship of the world
strapped around my waist. I've won other championships. I've main-evented
pay-per-views. I've battled with legends. I've been revered by the fans
and I've been despised by the fans. I've been beaten, bruised, bloodied,
electrocuted, sliced, urinated on...I've even fought atop a 30-foot
scaffold. But since 1997, I have not been the World Heavyweight champion.
That is the one thing that has eluded my grasp for all this time. No more.
Sean Edmunds, Shane Southern, Michael Manson, they're all part of the main
event. But this is MY night. This is MY time to shine. This is MY chance
to take what I have spent eight years working towards. After tonight, not
only will I have the respect that I deserve, I'll also have the WFW World
Heavyweight Title. And THAT -- as someone famous used to say -- is just all
there is to it.

(BROADCAST BOOTH)

BRANDON JACOBS: Only time can tell if Copycat is right.

JONATHAN MARX: I can’t tell you how long I have been waiting to call this match. This whole feud started back when Manson eliminated Copycat with the help of LOVE at Road To Glory in the battle royal in order to win the shot against the champion Alex Wylde at the Superbowl of Wrestling.

VIC WATERS: It isn’t really a feud, it is more of an issue.

JONATHAN MARX: And instead of Copycat getting for the chance to challenge against Manson, Edmunds has been throwing road block after road block at Copycat, trying to keep him away from the title picture and away from Manson’s WFW World Heavyweight Title. But all that changed when Copycat beat Blue Cat, Edmunds in disguise in order to win the title shot here tonight at Manson.

BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds isn’t done yet, he is still trying to cost Copycat a fair shot at beat Manson by being in that outer cage.

JONATHAN MARX: Shane Southern is going to be out there to make sure that doesn’t happen to keep Edmunds at bay.

BRANDON JACOBS: We both saw Edmunds and Felix Red working together to fire Maelstrom earlier, how do we know that Southern being there isn’t some conspiracy against Copycat? Southern could be working for the enemy and this all could be a ruse.

JONATHAN MARX: Southern and Edmunds have a long history with each other dating back to when Southern won his first World Heavyweight title by beating Edmunds for his title and Edmunds never had a chance to get it back. I’ve talked with him and that still sticks in his craw to even this day. Anything can happen in wrestling, but I believe the hatred between Southern and Edmunds is very real so I think Copycat will have a fair shot. The question in my mind though is can Copycat win the WFW World Heavyweight Title, he has never challenged for the WFW World Heavyweight Title before and may wrestlers over the history of WFW have fallen short right before they reach their goal. Shawn Hart was the odds on favorite in that Falls on the Mall match against Doc, Psycho, and Gideon but Psycho found a way to win the match, then Manson challenged in Chicago against Hart in a big spot where everyone and their mothers was predicting Manson would win the title…. But then he was turned away too.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson would rather die than to lose the WFW World Heavyweight Title. Imagine if he retained here tonight and went on to win the Ultratitle against Shane Southern in NFW in the finals, he would be the king of all of wrestling. Nobody would have accomplished what he has. It would be a Chicago Bull like dynasty for Manson. Copycat isn’t trying to beat a mortal tonight, tonight he is wrestling one of the immortals of our time and if he can get past Copycat, we will have a chance to find out who the greatest WFW World Heavyweight Champion of alltime when Manson faces Steve Savoy in a Winter Wonderland match at Merrython.

JONATHAN MARX: Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Tonight is about tonight and Copycat will have to be on top of his game to beat Manson for the WFW World Heavyweight Title. Manson has turned back challenge after challenge, but I think Copycat may be the one who can do what those others couldn’t and finally beat Manson after an eight months reign which is now twice as long as Shawn Hart’s reign.

BRANDON JACOBS: There is only one way to find out, folks, lets send this one down to ringside and get this one underway!

RING ANNOUNCER: Introducing first, currently residing in his fall residence in the Catskills, a three time WWL World Champion and current President of the WFW….. 'Simply Sensational' Sean Edmunds!

:: Edmunds comes down to the ring and enters the first cage to the loud boos from the crowd::

RING ANNOUNCER: And the man who will be on the other side of the cage to counter act Edmunds, a former NFW and IWC World Heavyweight Champion, SHANE SOUTHERN!

::Southern comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd and enters the first cage and a testy Edmunds starts hurling insults at him::

(CUEUP: Copycat voice/over “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LEND ME YOUR
EARS!” followed by “My Way” by Butch Walker)

RING ANNOUNCER: Introducing first, the former WWL World Heavyweight Champion, from Kalamazoo, Michigan… COPYCAT!

::Copycat comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd and enters the ring through the first cage, he takes a deep breath and he walks over to Shane Southern and offers to shake his hand which Southern accepts, Copycat walks over to Edmunds and extends his hand, but Edmunds simply walks away. Copycat walks away from Edmunds and enters the cage.::

(CUEUP: "Mechanical Animals" by Marilyn Manson)

RING ANNOUNCER: And now the champion, from Chicago, IL, the WFW World Heavyweight Champion, the man, the myth, the legend…. MICHAEL MANSON!

::Manson is walking down slowly to the ring to a loud face reaction from the crowd, he enters the ring and hands his title to the ring attendant before entering through the first cage to the second::

JONATHAN MARX: Manson could be entering that cage for the last time as WFW World Heavyweight champion or he could add another page to his legacy tonight.

BRANDON JACOBS: There must be a million things going through the head of Copycat right now but he has to put that all aside and be the Copycat who got him here.

*bell rings*

BRANDON JACOBS: Copycat gets in Manson’s face and starts talking trash and Manson just smiles back at him.

JONATHAN MARX: Even though the fans cheer him, Manson has a sadistic side and he would love nothing more than to cause Copycat pain by beating him tonight.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT PUSHES MANSON DOWN AND COPYCAT JUMPS ON MANSON AND STARTS POUNDING ON THE HEAD OF MANSON!

JONATHAN MARX: The war is on.

VIC WATERS: Manson doesn’t submit, so if Copycat win this, he has to pound Manson down until he can’t kick out of the three.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT IS POUNDING ON MANSON WITH CLOSED FISTS TO THE HEAD AND NOW HE IS PICKING MANSON UP OFF THE MAT AND HE WHIPS MANSON INTO THE CAGE FACE FIRST!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat is raging against Manson.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson stumbles back…. COPYCAT GRABS HIM BY THE HAIR AND HE WHIPS HIM INTO OTHER SIDE OF THE CAGE FACE FIRST!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat is taking him from coast to coast!

BRANDON JACOBS: Copycat picks up a stunned Manson….. OVER THE HEAD RELEASE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX AND MANSON CRASHES HARD ON HIS BACK DOWN ON THE MAT!

VIC WATERS: Manson is being taken to school, this could be Copycat’s night.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT CHARGES MANSON AS MANSON IS GETTING UP…. MANSON BACK BODY DROPS COPYCAT INTO THE CAGE AND COPYCAT FALLS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROPES!

JONATHAN MARX: Finally, Copycat’s whirlwind momentum has been broken once and for all.

VIC WATERS: That is why Manson is the smartest man in all of wrestling. He waits for his opponents to make mistakes and then he capitalizes on them.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson grabs the head of Copycat and he drapes it over the bottom rope… MANSON STANDS ON COPYCAT’S HEAD AND HE PRESSES IT RIGHT INTO THAT BOTTOM ROPE!

JONATHAN MARX: Manson is trying to take the wind out of the big man and if he does, the advantage will go to Manson.

VIC WATERS: Until the champion loses, the advantage always goes to the champion.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson finally lets go…. MANSON BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND HE BASEBALL SLIDES PLANTING HIS BOOTS RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF COPYCAT!

VIC WATERS: That may leave an imprint on Copycat’s face tomorrow.

JONATHAN MARX: If Copycat’s name is on the name plate of the world title, he won’t care that he has as Nike tattooed on his head.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson picks Copycat up by the hair…. AND HE LOCKS ON A COBRA CLUTCH THROUGH THE ROPES AND RAKES COPYCAT’S FACE ACROSS THE REPEATEDLY!

JONATHAN MARX: Manson has Copycat trapped on the other side of those ropes and he is taking full advantage of that.

VIC WATERS: With Copycat trapped in such a small place, it limits his offense.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT HAS BEEN BUSTED OPEN! Manson lets go and Copycat sags against the cage keeping himself up…..MANSON BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND DIVES OVER THE ROPES TO DELIVER A FLYING HEADBUTT TO THE BACK OF COPYCAT…. AND THE WEIGHT OF BOTH MEN CAUSES PART OF THE CAGE TO UNHINGE AND SWING OPEN AND COPYCAT AND MANSON FALL OUT TO THE FLOOR!

JONATHAN MARX: With Copycat’s weight on the cage and Manson going full force with that flying headbutt, that cage had to give and it had no where else to go.

VIC WATERS: Manson may be smaller than Copycat, but he is a lot more sadistic. That headbutt could have crippled Copycat if it was a little bit lower.

BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS RUSHES OVER TO COPYCAT AND HE IS CHECKING TO SEE IF COPYCAT IS OKAY….

VIC WATERS: See, and you all think Edmunds has this deep hatred for Copycat.

JONATHAN MARX: There are politicians I trust more than Edmunds.

BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS IS HELPING COPYCAT UP….. REVERSE CRESCENT KICK TO THE HEAD OF COPYCAT!

JONATHAN MARX: God damn it, this is exactly what we knew Edmunds would do.

BRANDON JACOBS: SOUTHERN COMES OVER AND HE CHASES EDMUNDS AWAY FROM COPYCAT…. Manson is finally getting up off the floor and sees Southern in front of him…. MANSON IS TELLING SOUTHERN TO GET HIS HICK ASS OUT OF THE WAY THERE IS A MATCH GOING ON

JONATHAN MARX: It is like Manson is trying to get under Southern’s skin on purpose.

VIC WATERS: Why in the world would Manson want to make Southern his enemy in this match? That makes absolutely no sense.

JONATHAN MARX: Manson has done stranger things.

BRANDON JACOBS: Southern is holding his temper though and Manson is going back to work on Copycat.

JONATHAN MARX: It is good to see someone turn the other cheek once in awhile.

VIC WATERS: Southern had no problem interfering against Shizaki and Marx, I’d love to see him accidentally cost Copycat the match going after Manson.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON PICKS A GROGGY COPYCAT UP OFF THE GROUND AND HE POWER BOMBS HIM RIGHT ON TOP OF THE STEEL STAIRS! Copycat reaches back and he grabbing his back.

JONATHAN MARX: Manson may not be as big as Copycat, but he is really strong for his size and he had just enough on that powerbomb to do some damage.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON IS RIPPING UP THE MATS AT RINGSIDE AND NOW EDMUNDS IS HELPING HIM REMOVE THE MATS AT RINGSIDE SO THERE IS NOTHING SEPARATING COPYCAT AND MANSON FROM THE CONCRETE!

JONATHAN MARX: Is this really necessary? They are in a double steel cage. Isn’t that dangerous enough?

VIC WATERS: Manson and Copycat have been thorns in the sides of Edmunds and LOVE for ever since time began. If Manson and Copycat want to tear each other a part, I am not going to keep them from doing so.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson picks Copycat off of the stairs and Copycat is having problems even standing up on his own right now.

JONATHAN MARX: His body must feel like it has been through a woodchipper after that flying headbutt and fall to the floor and then that powerbomb on the steps.

VIC WATERS: By the time Manson is done, he is going to be able to put little pieces of Copycat on the new WFW Upper Deck Cards.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON GOES FOR A DDT BUT COPYCAT GRABS THE CAGE TO KEEP ON FROM GOING DOWN AND MANSON CRASHES BACK FIRST ONTO THE CONCRETE! Manson goes to get back up…. BUT COPYCAT GRABS THE HINGED DOOR AND SWINGS IT RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF MANSON SENDING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat swung that door like he was David Ortiz.

VIC WATERS: Copycat has to stay on Manson and dish out the punishment to Manson like he has done to him.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson is looking a bit woozy after being hit with that steel door…. COPYCAT SETS HIMSELF BEHIND MANSON WHO IS SLOWLY GETTING UP….. COPYCAT WAISTLOCKS MANSON FROM BEHIND
AND RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEXES MANSON RIGHT INTO THE CAGE!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat spiked his neck and back against the outer cage and he had a lot of authority on that suplex.

VIC WATERS: Manson looks like he is out of it.

BRANDON JACOBS: Copycat is calling over Southern and he asking him to hold that the unhinged part of the cage steady…..

JONATHAN MARX: What could Copycat be planning?

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT IS CLIMBING UP A SECURE PORTION CAGE….

VIC WATERS: What is he doing?

JONATHAN MARX: I believe he is going to use the section which Southern is holding in order to steady his other foot so he can fly off… if he climbed on the other side of the hinged fence which isn’t attacked, he have to climb all the way to the top.

VIC WATERS: That is ingenious.

JONATHAN MARX: He isn’t called one of the smartest wrestlers for nothing.

BRANDON JACOBS: Copycat is half way up and now he is now climbing over to his left and he puts his left heel on the unhinged cage….. EDMUNDS WHO HAS BEEN KEEPING HIS DISTANCE RUNS OVER BUT COPYCAT FLIES OFF AND HE HITS MANSON WITH THE FROG SPLASH!

JONATHAN MARX: OH MAN!

VIC WATERS: That is enough to scramble anyone’s insides.

JONATHAN MARX: Manson won’t be able to eat for a week.

BRANDON JACOBS: Copycat rolls off and Manson is clutching his ribs. Manson is trying to catch his breath, Copycat appears to have done a real number on him.

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat needs to get Manson back in the ring in order to try for a pinfall because he can’t get one on the floor.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT PICKS MANSON AND HE ROLLS HIM BACK INTO THE INNER CAGE THROUGH THE OPENING! Copycat goes to roll back in…. BUT EDMUNDS GRABS HIS LEG AND KEEPS HIM FROM GETTING IN THE RING!

JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds may have just saved Manson’s title.

VIC WATERS: HANG ON EDMUNDS!

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT SLIDES BACK OUT AND HE STARTS WAILING AWAY AT EDMUNDS….. COPYCAT WHIPS EDMUNDS INTO THE CAGE….. NO! EDMUNDS REVERSES IT AND COPYCAT CRASHES HEAD FIRST INTO THE CAGE!

JONATHAN MARX: Southern needs to get over there and fast.

BRANDON JAOCBS: Southern is going over to help…. AND HE IS SETTING BEHIND EDMUNDS FOR THE PARTY’S OVER SUPERKICK… COPYCAT IS STARTING TO GET UP….. EDMUNDS DUCKS AS SOUTHERN THROWS THE SUPERKICK AND HE CLOBBERS COPYCAT INSTEAD!

JONATHAN MARX: How many greats has Southern put down in his history with the Party’s Over?

VIC WATERS: Too many to count.

BRANDON JACOBS: SOUTHERN IS CHASING AFTER EDMUNDS FOR SOME RETRIBUTION! Wait a second, Manson is getting up and he sees that Copycat is laying motionless on the ground on the outside….. MANSON STARTS SCALING THE INNER CAGE ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP….

JONATHAN MARX: Manson seems a bit slower because of the toll the frog splash took on his ribs, but Manson is Manson because of his great ability to take pain and comeback for more. Manson is going for something big here, very big.

VIC WATERS: This is foolish, he is going to kill himself.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON IS AT THE TOP OF THE INNER CAGE…. AND NOW HE IS REACHING UP FOR THE OUTER CAGE….

JONATHAN MARX: OH MY GOD…

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON IS GOING HAND OVER HAND DIRECTLY OVER WHERE COPYCAT IS….. MANSON LETS GO AND DROPS A LEG DROP FROM THE HEAVENS RIGHT ONTO THE COPYCAT’S HEAD!

CROWD: BAD KICKS ASS! BAD KICKS ASS! BAD KICKS ASS!

JONATHAN MARX: My god, Manson could have broken his leg.

VIC WATERS: But damn, was that move worth it… Copycat is dead.

JONATHAN MARX: Never count Copycat down, but damn, does he look like it.

BRANDON JACOBS: Both Southern and Edmunds stop and they looked over at Manson and Copycat on the floor and Southern is just shaking his head in disbelief.

JONATHAN MARX: The cage certainly isn’t the only thing unhinged in this match.

VIC WATERS: Manson is totally insane.

JONATHAN MARX: It is the WFW World Heavyweight Title that does it to people. If you don’t have the gold, you will do anything to win it. If you have the gold, you’ll do anything to keep it.

BRANDON JACOBS: EDMUNDS IS SCREAMING AT MANSON TO GET UP AND TO ROLL COPYCAT BACK INTO THE CAGE TO BEAT HIM!

JONATHAN MARX: This is sickening, all Edmunds needs is a set of pom poms.

VIC WATERS: MANSON IS GOING TO GET HIM IF HE GETS HIM BACK IN THAT RING!

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson is getting up and he is rolling Copycat back into the ring and he slides in after him. MANSON IS GOING FOR THE COVER!

JONATHAN MARX: Come on Copycat, get up!

BRANDON JACOBS: THE REFEREE GOES DOWN TO COUNT! 1---------------------------------------------------2-------------------------------------------- COPYCAT SOMEHOW GETS THE SHOULDER UP!

CROWD: COPYCAT! COPYCAT! COPYCAT!

VIC WATERS: Are you kidding me? How did Copycat kick out of that?

JONATHAN MARX: He hasn’t held a World Heavyweight Title since 1997, over eight years ago, he isn’t going to let this chance slip through his fingers.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON IS YELLING AT THE REFEREE THAT HE NEEDS TO COUNT FASTER!

VIC WATERS: The count did seem a little slow to me too.

JONATHAN MARX: The count was fine.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson looks back at Copycat who still appears out of it despite kicking out…. MANSON IS CALLING FOR THE SWEET DREAMS!

CROWD: MANSON! MANSON! MANSON!

JONATHAN MARX: The crowd wants to see it.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson picks up Copycat… COPYCAT PUSHES MANSON INTO THE REFEREE AND THE REF GOES DOWN!

JONATHAN MARX: Manson fell right on top of the referee!

VIC WATERS: He was so damn close too.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson gets up and he is yelling at Copycat who in a half dazed state smiles back at him….

VIC WATERS: I hate Copycat’s arrogance.

JONATHAN MARX: Manson did the same thing to him in the beginning of the match. He is trying to get into the head of Manson, which is a very scary place.

BRANDON JACOBS: MANSON CHARGES AT COPYCAT AND GOES FOR A FLYING CROSSBODY…. COPYCAT CATCHES HIM BUT HE STARTS TO STUMBLE BACK AND THEN REGAINS HIS FOOTING..... COPYCAT SAMOAN DROPS HIM INTO THE SIDE OF THE CAGE!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat still is effected by those shots to the head, but he is going on instinct in there.

VIC WATERS: Love him or hate him, you have to admit Copycat has awesome power.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson falls down on the other side of the ropes but Copycat pulls him out of the ropes.

JONATHAN MARX: That could have been a chance for some easy redemption on Manson for what he did earlier.

VIC WATERS: Copycat must have other plans.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT POSITIONS MANSON…. COPYCAT BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND HE DROPS THE CAT’S MEOW RIGHT ON MANSON! Copycat goes for the cover and hooks the leg!

VIC WATERS: The referee is still down.

BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, EDMUNDS IS TAKING OFF HIS DRESS SHIRT TO REVEAL A WFW REFEREE SHIRT UNDERNEATH AND HE IS COMING INTO THE RING!

VIC WATERS: YES!

BRANDON JACOBS: Edmunds slides in to make the count! 1------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2--------------------------------------------------------------- MANSON KICKS OUT!

JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds counts slower than Wells on a bender.

VIC WATERS: Manson is the champion, he needs to make sure that if Manson gets beat, it is on a legit three count.

JONATHAN MARX: That was almost a legit five count.

BRANDON JACOBS: A frustrated Copycat is getting up…. HE IS YELLING AT EDMUNDS TO GIVE HIM A LEGIT THREE COUNT! Copycat picks Manson up…. COPYCAT HAS MANSON UP FOR A LITTER BOMB…… HE HITS HIM WITH THE LITTERBOMB!

JONATHAN MARX: Copycat him with that so hard, he bounced off the mat.

VIC WATERS: COME ON MANSON! KICK OUT!

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT MAKES THE COVER AND EDMUNDS GOES DOWN FOR THE COUNT! 1-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MANSON KICKS OUT AGAIN!

JONATHAN MARX: These counts are getting progressively longer by Edmunds.

BRANDON JACOBS: COPYCAT GETS UP AND HE GRABS EDMUNDS BY THE THROAT AND TRYING TO CHOKE HIM TO DEATH!

JONATHAN MARX: That is one way to remove him from office.

VIC WATERS: Edmunds is the President and the referee, he so doesn’t deserve that.

JONATHAN MARX: Edmunds had made him self a nuisance all match long. He sure does deserve it.

BRANDON JACOBS: SHANE SOUTHERN IS COMING INTO THE RING AND HE IS TELLING COPYCAT TO LET GO OF EDMUNDS BEFORE HE KILLS HIM…. Copycat agrees and he lets go….. Edmunds goes to thank Shane Southern….. SOUTHERN NAILS EDMUNDS WITH THE PARTY’S OVER AND EDMUNDS FALLS DOWN TO THE MAT!

CROWD: SOUTHERN! SOUTHERN! SOUTHERN!

JONATHAN MARX: Now two referee are down. Who is going to call the match?

VIC WATERS: I think the only fair thing is to reward the match to Manson.

BRANDON JACOBS: SHANE SOUTHERN PULLS OFF HIS SHIRT TO REVEAL HIS WFW REFEREE STRIPES!

CROWD: SOUTHERN! SOUTHERN! SOUTHERN!

JONATHAN MARX: The board of directors must have felt that with the physicality of the action involved in this match that they needed to backup referees.

VIC WATERS: Can’t say there were wrong, but what were they smoking when they picked Southern as a referee. He’d love to screw Manson out of his title. He can’t be fair and balanced like Edmunds.

JONATHAN MARX: The only thing balanced about Edmunds is the amount of time he divides between his women and coke.

VIC WATERS: We haven’t had a show this big since the Superbowl of Wrestling.

BRANDON JACOBS: That is only months away too, I don’t know how we are going to top this show, but we will try to find a way.
