WFW Christmas Card: BAD Battle Royal - Christmas Tree Lot Brawl

A backstage camera steadily fixes itself on the closed door to the Fleet
Center's workout room, the hard rock music coming from inside effectively
blares out any conversation or machine usage. The tunes don't last for long
though, as silence abruptly fills the airwaves and the door flings open to
reveal Christian Sands, in ring gear, carrying a large sound system by its
handle. He smirks at the camera and proceeds off down the hall.

Sands rounds the corner and walks straight down the hall before stopping and
pounding on a door.

"Hey, Varitek...you ready to get into a scuffle with A-Rod?"

The door swings open and Lindsay Troy emerges with a CD in one hand and a
baseball bat in the other. "Ready when you are."

(BROADCAST BOOTH)

VIC WATERS: Can you explain to me why LOVE is suppose to be the demon seed in their feud against Inner Circle when Lindsay Troy is the one walking around sporting a baseball bat?

JONATHAN MARX: Maybe Lindsay and Sands simply want to get in some battling practice with their homies before the big three way dance. How can you even think their motives are less than pure?

VIC WATERS: I must have lost my head.

BRANDON JACOBS: Many WFW Superstars rock out to music before their matches, just the other day I caught Edmunds rocking out to Lindsay Lohan.

VIC WATERS: Edmunds does not rock out to Lindsay Lohan.

BRANDON JACOBS: Well it was some female, maybe it is Madonna I am thinking of.

VIC WATERS: How can you confuse Madonna and Lindsay Lohan?

BRANDON JACOBS: I never claimed to be an expert on this music thing, if I was in charge of the WFW music division, someone would be coming out to To Legit To Quit.

JONATHAN MARX: Everything old is new again eventually. If you just wait it out, McHammer will be cool again and you can bust out those pants in the back of your closet.

BRANDON JACOBS: It has been awhile since I’ve gotten groove on.

VIC WATERS: You are the two whitest people in America.

JONATHAN MARX: When it snows in Princeton, we are impossible to find.

VIC WATERS: Har har har… don’t we have a match to call?

BRANDON JACOBS: Yes, this one should be fun, it is a Christmas Tree Lot Battle Royal and it will feature several new young lions in WFW making their debut and an old one making his return in Adam Benjamin.

JONATHAN MARX: Who has been out of action in WFW since Minion put him out all those months ago, tonight he finally makes his return and from what he told me, his neck is finally 100%.

BRANDON JACOBS: Benjamin has been trying to wrestle in other places while he healed up to make ends meet, but he knew if he wasn’t 100%, in WFW, he’d be in deep trouble because we have so many people who would go right after his neck and try to finish the job.

VIC WATERS: Necks can be really tricky things. If you don’t treat them right, you can easily lose feeling in your arms and be a wreck by the time you are sixty.

JONATHAN MARX: This is going to be a tough match for Benjamin because while Benjamin can fight, this match is aimed more towards someone who can brawl like Aaron Rage.

VIC WATERS: I really like Aaron Rage, he has a ton of potential.

JONATHAN MARX: There are a lot of guys in this battle royal which I see promise in. Steve Johnson, an amateur wrestling from Ohio State…. Akira’s Ghost, who appears to be one of the more unique wrestlers to enter WFW in quite some time… Luster, who has had title matches against Manson and others before and all he needs is win one of them to break through as a force, and then there is that big unnamed bastard who has been threatening everyone in his promos….

VIC WATERS: We haven’t had a crop of young talent all come in at the same time like that in ages. Who is your pick Jonathan?

JONATHAN MARX: I really have no idea, once the chaos starts, this can be anyone’s match. One of these lucky men will walk out of here with a BAD World Heavyweight Title shot against the winner of the Thirteen vs. Jared Wells match at a later date. If Thirteen wins the title, he will defend it against the winner at Merrython, but if Jared Wells retains, he will defend the title at the card at Great Expectations because Jared Wells already has a special match at Merrython, and yes, it will still be called Merrython while it is being held in February and instead of it being a Christmas Show, it will be a Winter Carnival live from New York City.

VIC WATERS: I always love a good carnival. But isn’t it cold in New York City during the winter?

JONATHAN MARX: If NEW can run open air stadiums in Canada during the dead of winter, New York City is going to feel like Bermuda.

VIC WATERS: Somehow I doubt that…

BRANDON JACOBS: Folks, lets send this out to the Christmas Tree lot, remember, there are two ways to eliminate your opponent, one is by pinfall and the other is to throw toss your opponent over the chain link fence or the past the barrier where it stands and we will go until there is only one man standing.

(CHRISTMAS TREE LOT)

::Luster, Aaron Rage, Akira’s Ghost, Steve Johnson, Adam Benjamin, and the Unnamed Bastard are standing in different places around the chain link fence around the Christmas Tree Lot::

JONATHAN MARX: Mike Lane is a no show.

BRANDON JACOBS: From what I heard, he was in no condition to perform.

VIC WATERS: If there is anything I can’t stand, it is a drunk. ::takes a sip of Poland Spring Water::

*bell rings*

BRANDON JACOBS: Luster is going after Steve Johnson, The Unnamed Bastard is going after Adam Benjamin, and Akira’s Ghost is going after Aaron Rage.

JONATHAN MARX: Imagine the feather in the cap it would be for any of these guys to win a BAD World Heavyweight Title shot in their first match in the company.

VIC WATERS: Wells is not going to let anyone win his title. Not Thirteen and not of these youngsters.

BRANDON JACOBS: LUSTER SPEARS STEVE JOHNSON INTO THE CHAINLINK FENCE!

JONATHAN MARX: They are going to rip right through the sides of this thing if they aren’t careful.

BRANDON JACOBS: The Unnamed Bastard is lifting Adam Benjamin up by the throat… HE THROWS HIM RIGHT INTO A CHRISTMAS TREE AND BOTH BENJAMIN THE TREE TOPPLE OVER!

JONATHAN MARX: UB would like nothing better than to take Benjamin out in his first match back.

VIC WATERS: He needs to be sent back to the UK where he belongs.

BRANDON JACOBS: AKIRA’S GHOST IS HITTING AARON RAGE WITH HIS RAPID FIRE OFFENSE…. AKIRA’s GHOST HITS AARON RAGE WITH A ROARING ELBOW RIGHT IN THE FACE AND RAGE FALLS BACK ON THE CHAINLINK FENCE!

JONATHAN MARX: Akira’s Ghost may be small, but he sure packs a punch.

BRANDON JACOBS: AARON RAGE CHARGES BACK AT AKIRA’S GHOST AND HE FLYING FOREARM WHICH KNOCKS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!

JONATHAN MARX: Aaron Rage has such incredible power. Akira’s Ghost went down like he was shot. If he can learn to harness it, he will be a real threat to win the gold.

BRANDON JACOBS: LUSTER PICKS UP STEVE JOHNSON OVER HIS SHOULDER IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY AND HE IS REPEATEDLY RAMMING STEVE JOHNSON HEAD FIRST INTO THE CHAIN LINK FENCE!

VIC WATERS: What do you think of your wrestler now?

JONATHAN MARX: Luster is not a man to be messed with. He has cost many men their titles here in WFW including Manson in the past.

BRANDON JACOBS: Luster is backing up….. HE RUNS AND RAMS STEVE JOHNSON INTO THE CAGE AND THE SECTION WHICH HE RAMMED IN BROKE RIGHT OFF THE FENCE! A bloodied Steve Johnson falls down within the barrier and Luster is a bit shaken up staggering on his feet from the force of the impact.

JONATHAN MARX: He just made Steve Johnson’s head into Ram Man and even Luster was effected by that shot, that is all you need to know about the force with which they hit the chainlink fence.

BRANDON JACOBS: Luster is staggering right next to that line, if he crosses it, he is going to be eliminated…. Luster regains his balance and goes to pickup Steve Johnson… LUSTER IS PICKING STEVE JOHNSON UP FOR A FUNK & WAGNALL POWERBOMB AND HE WALKS TOWARDS THE BARRIER….

JONATHAN MARX: He is going to powerbomb him right out of this match…

VIC WATERS: COME ON LUSTER!

BRANDON JACOBS: LUSTER HAS STEVE JOHNSON UP BUT JOHNSON IS FIGHTING BACK WITH PUNCHES TO THE HEAD OF LUSTER AND LUSTER IS TRYING TO KEEP HIS BALANCE!

JONATHAN MARX: If Luster is not careful, both of these men could be eliminated and we could be down to four.

BRANDON JACOBS: JOHNSON IS PUNCHING AWAY AND PUNCHING AWAY AND LUSTER FALLS BACK BUT THANKFULLY LANDS WITHIN THE BARRIER SO NEITHER MAN IS ELIMINATED!

VIC WATERS: Thank god.

BRANDON JACOBS: Johnson fell off of Luster when he fell and it looks like he may have hurt his shoulder and Johnson is dangerously close to that line where the open chainlink fence use to be.

VIC WATERS: When you mess with Luster, bad things happen.

BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, LUSTER IS GETTING UP AND HE IS PULLING A LIGHTER OUT OF HIS TRUNKS… HE IS SETTING A CHRISTMAS TREE ON FIRE AND HE IS HOLDING IT LIKE A LANCE IN FRONT OF HIM…

JONATHAN MARX: Poor, poor Steve Johnson…

VIC WATERS: GET UP STEVE!

BRANDON JACOBS: Oh no…. JOHNSON IS GETTING UP…. LUSTER CHARGES TOWARDS THE BARRIER WHERE JOHNSON IS STANDING WITH THE BURNING CHRISTMAS TREE…

JONATHAN MARX: Damn…

BRANDON JACOBS: JOHNSON SIDE STEPS LUSTER AND DROP TOE HOLDS OVER THE BARRIER ON TO THE BURNING CHRISTMAS TREE! LUSTER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! Luster is rolling around to try to put out the fire and the paramedics are coming over to take a look at him.

RING ANNOUNCER: LUSTER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

VIC WATERS: Luster never does anything in a small way, does he?

JONATHAN MARX: That he does not.

BRANDON JACOBS: Akira’s Ghost, The Unnamed Bastard, and Adam Benjamin are busy triple teaming Aaron Rage!

VIC WATERS: Now that Luster has been eliminated, it only makes sense that they go after Aaron Rage because he is the biggest man in the match.

BRANDON JACOBS: AARON RAGE IS FIGHTING HIS WAY OUT OF IT AND HE IS DECKING EVERYONE IN SIGHT!

JONATHAN MARX: They say that a cornered animal is always the most dangerous.

BRANDON JACOBS: AKIRA’S GHOST CHARGES WITH THE SHINING WIZARD…. AARON RAGE DUCKS! AARON RAGE CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD AND HITS HIM WITH A HIGH ANGLE BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!

JONATHAN MARX: What a suplex…

BRANDON JACOBS: BENJAMIN COMES FROM BEHIND AND HE LOCKS RAGE ON AN HEAD AND ARM SUPLEX AS HE IS TRYING TO GET BACK UP….

JONATHAN MARX: It is hard to fight three men at the time, even if you are the biggest man in the match.

BRANDON JACOBS: BENJAMIN HITS THE SUPLEX AND HE IS CALLING FOR THE REF TO MAKE THE COVER! The ref comes over to make the count! 1------------------------------------------------2----------------------------------- RAGE KICKS OUT OF IT!

VIC WATERS: If they want to keep him down, they are most likely going to have to beat him down even more before they take another shot.

BRANDON JACOBS: The Unnamed Bastard is pulling down a strand of Christmas lights from the fence… HE JUMPS ON TOP OF AARON RAGE AND HE IS TRYING TO CHOKE HIM OUT!

JONATHAN MARX: I know this is anything goes, but is this really called for? Is there need to choke a man half to death in order to pin him?

VIC WATERS: This notorious unnamed bastard seems like he’ll do anything to win. Of course, he is a bastard.

BRANDON JACOBS: There are no submissions in this match. So even if Aaron Rage is choked out with that string of lights, one of these men have to pin him. HERE COMES STEVE JOHNSON AND HE KICKS UB RIGHT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!

VIC WATERS: I don’t understand why Steve Johnson came over to help Aaron Rage.

JONATHAN MARX: This may be every man for himself, but Steve Johnson is a good man, he doesn’t wanted to see UB choke Rage to death.

BRANDON JACOBS: BENJAMIN ATTACKS JOHNSON AND NOW BOTH MEN ARE TRADING CHOPS BACK AND FORTH!

JONATHAN MARX: These two wrestlers are really ripping into each other with venom.

VIC WATERS: There are so many technical wrestlers in WFW today, each man wants to do what is necessary to make themselves stand out that is why winning this match is so important.

BRANDON JACOBS: UB is shaking off the cobwebs and he goes to pick up Aaron Rage…. RAGE COMES BACK WITH A FLURRY OF PUNCHES OF HIS OWN!

JONATHAN MARX: These punches have caught UB totally off guard. He thought Rage was down and out.

BRANDON JACOBS: Rage grabs UB by the hair…. HE RAMS UB HEAD FIRST RIGHT INTO THE METAL CASH REGISTER ON THE WOODEN TABLE! It looks like UB has been busted open.

`JONATHAN MARX: It is payback time for Rage now.

BRANDON JACOBS: RAGE PICKS UP UB….. RAGE BOMB THROUGH THE WOODEN TABLE AND ONTO THE CONCRETE! UB is grabbing his back.

VIC WATERS: Ouch, thank god I am not a wrestler.

BRANDON JACOBS: WAIT A SECOND, HERE COMES AKIRA’S GHOST WITH A BUCKET AND HE PUTS IT ONTO AARON RAGE’S HEAD FROM BEHIND…. AARON RAGE TURNS AROUND….. AKIRA’S GHOST SHINING WIZARDS AARON RAGE HEAD RIGHT IN THE BUCKET AND FALLS OFF HIS HEAD!

VIC WATERS: It is better than his head falling off and with how hard Akira’s Ghost hit that. It could have easily been the other way around.

BRANDON JACOBS: Aaron Rage tries to stand up….. AKIRA’S GHOST HITS HIM LARIAT BUT RAGE REFUSES TO GO DOWN!

JONATHAN MARX: Rage looks very, very angry.

BRANDON JACOBS: The Unknown Bastard is getting up…. HE SEES THE CASH REGISTER AND HE PICKS IT UP AND CLOBBERS RAGE FROM BEHIND RIGHT IN THE HEAD!

JONATHAN MARX: He could have killed him with that shot.

JONATHAN MARX: This has to be a huge upset, Benjamin was the odds on favorite going in. Now it looks like one of these young lions is going to take it all.

BRANDON JACOBS: Johnson and Akira are double teaming the unnamed bastard. JOHNSON IS HOLDING THE ARMS OF UB AND AKIRA’S GHOST KNOCKS OVER A CHRISTMAS TREE AND TAKES THE WOODEN STAND!

JONATHAN MARX: This can’t be used for anything good.

JONATHAN MARX: AKIRA’s Ghost has to finish him off right now!

VIC WATERS: Or even sooner…

BRANDON JACOBS: Akira’s Ghost grabs the arms of UB and he IS GOING FOR THE HOLY GHOST BOMB!

JONATHAN MARX: Can he get him up?!

VIC WATERS: This is the same move he finished Aaron Rage off with earlier.

BRANDON JACOBS: AKIRA’S GHOST PICKS HIM UP ON HIS BACK IN THE CRUCIFIX AND HE IS HEADING OVER FOR THE OPEN CHAIN LINK FENCE!

JONATHAN MARX: This may be the best way to eliminate him once and for all…. He is almost there!

BRANDON JACOBS: UB BREAKS FREE BEFORE HE CAN GET THE BARRIER! Akira’s Ghost turns around….. THE UNNAMED BASTARD CHARGES SHOULDER TACKLES AKIRA’S GHOST IN THE CHEST AND HE DOES A 360 OVER THE BARRIER AND ONTO THE GROUND!

JONATHAN MARX: That has to be frustrating, Akira’s Ghost was so damn close to eliminating him once and for all….

RING ANNOUNCER: AKIRA’S GHOST HAS BEEN ELIMINATED! WE ARE NOW DOWN TO TWO!

VIC WATERS: The only man standing between the Unnamed Bastard and the BAD World Heavyweight Title is Steve Johnson.

BRANDON JACOBS: The Unnamed Bastard gets up and he smiles over at Steve Johnson who is just now getting back up to his feet after getting shaken up earlier.

VIC WATERS: Johnson is so dead meat.

BRANDON JACOBS: THE UNNAMED BASTARD PICKS UP A CHRISTMAS TREE AND THROWS IT AT JOHNSON WHO JUST JUMPS OUT OF THE WAY! THE UNNAMED BASTARD CHARGES WITH A CLOTHESLINE AND HE HITS JOHNSON AND HE FALLS BACKWARDS OVER THE TREE HE JUMPED OVER! The Unnamed Bastard is going for the cover!

VIC WATERS: I doubt he learned that at Ohio State.

JONATHAN MARX: All he has to do is get this guy over the barrier and this match is his.

BRANDON JACOBS: HE IS TRYING FOR A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX BUT UB RECOVERS AND NAILS JOHNSON WITH A DOUBLE FOREARM SHOT TO THE HEAD! Johnson stumbles back….
