Dear Defiance,

First off I would like to say sorry to everyone. But I would like to explain where I have been.

On the 28th of December while going for a walk with my wife who is 46 years old (I am 41). She started having trouble breathing, so we slowed down, and started back home. we did not make it, as I had to call 911 My wife had a heart attack. Something I pray that no one I know has to go though.

She had to have a heart valve surgery. Now my wife has never been the strongest person physically, I was not sure she would make it though the surgery, but she did. So we spent 3 weeks in the hospital. I stayed there with her as she did with me. took all of my vacation time for the year, and a extra week off work, I did not worry too much about fedding as I had no commitments, with any feuds as I had taken My characters off TV for a bit. The only other things i has was making the posers and logos.... and Was waiting on a return PM from Jeff on the first member of his team.

But While in the hospital funds for Cable / Internet and the phones went to the car payments and rent. So I had no way of contacting anyone, and it was not even on my mind. I was more worried if my wife was going to make it out of surgery, then out of ICU, then out of the Hospital.

we came home on the 19th of january I went back to work. pulling doubles to make up for time off work, My daughters stayed here with my wife, as My son is at Job Core.

Today we had the money, thanks to getting my W2 sent online then snail mail, to get the phones, cable, and net back on.

My wife is still recovering and its going to take a while, doctors say about 2 - 3 months before shes 100 percent.

I came here today to inform everyone. But seems I have been fired. And that's okay.

And I like to think I did some pretty good art for you guys, and had fun in my short time here. I am sorry I don't get to be part of it any more... and it hurts to think that someone would lash out and say most of my work sucked anyway.. But everyone is entitled to there opinion.

Like its said no big loss... anyways Chris does the Best micros I have ever seen and I always felt bad after seeing his work that I kinda stepped on that, Not intentionally though, not sure if it was ever felt this way, but if I did. I am sorry.

I just offered my services one day cause I missed doing them. It led me here. I met some great people and retouched with a few old friends.

And though I am sad to leave, as I did fall in love with Defiance, I wish you guys only the best. I have always said Like first gaming second. This is one of those cases.

protip: don't believe a word of what Pape wrote, he's been doing that routine since I first met him in 1999. Fucking off withotu a trace for months on end then coming back. He's been shot, gone through multiple bouts of life threatening illnesses that left him hospital-bound for months while his wife and son posted under his username, his wife's gone through multiple bouts of life-threatening illnesses which cause him to not be able to internet (but never cause him to say "I got to step away for a while, IRL" for some reason, he always disappears for a few months first), had winter storms that destroyed his internet for months at a time... you get the picture.

Sigh. I do not want to stir things up, But i do feel need to defend my self. Jeff Just because you don't believe that things happen, does not make them untrue. I could not believe things in your life happen, but that would not make them less true. Now I have never had problems with you, nor do I want any. Hell I have always thought of you as a pretty good guy.

But to defend things I have stated. here are a few shots of the meds I and My wife have to take now. The pics are not that great, sucky phone.




The last one is my wife's meds. The Mucinex is to help clear her lungs up we are waiting on results for her breathing test, and after that its to see is she does or does not have any cancers.

long story short. We spent a long time not having a doctor do to not having insurance or being able to pay. but now We do, and I can, so we are catching up so that's where we are at, taking a ton of meds just for reactive treatments, and are heading into proactive preventive care.


Hell Jeff this reminds me of back when me and my son got into WOW, . part of the same guild. 2 accountants... one PC. We had a person try and say that there was only one person playing and that my son did not exist, cause i was just trying to screw people over for raiding spots... He truly believed it, because my son at the time was pretty shy and did not like to talk in Vent chat, so because he would not speak, he and I were 1 person. Just because he believed that way, did not make him right.

hell I am 42 years old. After the life i have had, i got health issues, my wife is 5 years older then me, yep she has a few health issues as well.


And Justin and the members of this fed. I am sorry to toss dirt on your boards. I just really had some free time and wanted to check on results and stuff. and saw this post. And while I do hope to one day be able to come back to this fed as I like all of you, and like this game. At this point in time My Wife's health is more important then gaming... and I would like to think anyone else would do the same.

If anyone needs to say anything. Just PM me, Ill check when I have the time. But lets at least take it off the boards of this federation. Again sorry to you all for having this on your boards.
