With voting officially closed, the seeding period is over and done with... and there's now two things to look forward to this next week. First off a sneak preview of the final seeding of the FW bracket:

ONE Lindsay Troy
SIXTEEN Richard Farnswirth

EIGHT Eddie Mayfield
NINE Chip Friendly

FIVE Dan Ryan
TWELVE Maggot

FOUR Shane Southern
THIRTEEN The Hornet

SIX Mike Randalls
ELEVEN The Spoiler

THREE Eli Flair
FOURTEEN Slambo the Clown

SEVEN Eddy Love
TEN Michael Manson

TWO Joey Melton
FIFTEEN Irish Red

You now know who's where, and who didn't make it into the bracket. ;) All ties with votes where decided by who had the most nominations, after that it was alphabetical. There where a few surprises in the seedings for me, and the most amount of ties per seed, then any other bracket... FW should be pretty wide open, I could see any of the top eight as a favourite in this region. Southern vs. Hornet should be TOUGH. Same with Love vs. Manson. Still, the hype around the bracket will have to brew for a week as the Wildcards are voted on.

Also catch a preview of EWN and PTC brackets at there respectively linked threads.

"The Wildcards?" You may ask, though. The Wildcard, nicknamed 'The Mark', bracket is the fourth bracket of the Mark's 64-superstar 'VS' TOURNAMENT, and it will consist of all those not originally seeded in there own brackets, getting a second chance at not only a place in the tournament, but a place in the eventual final four. A Final Four that included High Flyer, KVC, KSZ and Coral Avalon in the original 'VS' tournament at EWN. A Wildcard Region, voting ballot, can be found at both the PTC and EWN boards as well, and if you're also a member of those boards... you can vote at those boards as well. ;)

Other notes of importance...

You can vote for ONE superstar per group, so four in all, and as with the bracket seeding last week, it'll be a tough vote to say the least... but no ties, just one vote per group.

Feel free to discuss either FW bracket predictions while voting for the Wildcard "The Mark" bracket or the reason why you're voting for the superstars you're voting for.

At the end of the week, the voting will close for the fourth and final bracket seeds, and the 16 superstars with the most votes overall, in all three forums combined, will be seeded 1-16 in the Wildcard Bracket.

Oh, and in case you where thinking I was missing a few people, I'd just like to point out that all those in the four groups had to garner atleast two votes in there own respective brackets to get a second chance in the wildcard bracket.

Voting for the The Mark's Wildcard Bracket will close on Midnight, April 11th, 2006. Any questions, ask away, otherwise vote... and watch for the big bracket graphic on the Mark website, along with a number of other features set to go up. Oh, and correct any mistakes in spelling of names before the mega-bracket is graphiced up.

Later days,
Russ

I don't know any of the characters in one or two of these groups, so with those I am just going to do what I do when voting for local judges and school board members and such and just go with the people with the coolest names. ;)

A - Jonathan Marx

B - Maelstrom

C - Tyke

D - JA

A - Copycat (only because he was a nominee for Face of the Year over at ENN)
B - No vote (never seen any of those names)
C - No vote (never seen any of those names)
D - JA (how he was relegated to the wildcard, I'll never know)
