REGIS: And George was making me sit there because the Yankees were rallying while my bladder felt like it was ready to bust. Thank god the Yankees didn't take any longer to win that game or I would have been toast. I miss George.

BRANDON JACOBS: You can't beat the Boss. It is so rare to get an owner whom that committed to winning

JONATHAN MARX: Yankees have broken my heart as a Red Sox fan more than once, but we finally got the job done in 2004. I can die in peace now.

REGIS: Dying in peace? You are still a young man, filled with vim and vinegar! I heard you were facing Alex Austin in the Legends tournament.

JONATHAN MARX: Alex Austin has been tearing it up this season. It would have been nice if he showed up though to promote our match. I have never faced him before so all I have to go by is what he has said to other and what he was done in the ring against opponents who wrestle different styles than I do.

BRANDON JACOBS: Everyone wants the TNA schedule, show up once or twice a month and get home so they can get fed grapes by the pool by a harem of beauties who wait on you hand and foot.

JONATHAN MARX: When I was a kid Reg, I used to watch a lot of baseball and every though I was a Red Sox fan, being from Princeton, the only two teams I could watch in the age before Direct TV MLB Extra Inning were the Yankees and the Mets. There was ESPN and the NBC Game of the Week in the afternoon on Saturday, but that was it, so I had to watch Yankees on a daily basis to get my baseball fix and growing up, the star of my era was Don Mattingly.

REGIS: Donnie Baseball!

JONATHAN MARX: Don Mattingly, who was an alltime great field and one of the best hitters ever until his back went, always used to get to Yankee Stadium early to get in extra batting practice and time in the field. This was Don Mattingly, in my era, he was a God regardless of whether he ever makes the Hall, and he was out there, doing more than all the rest. It is hard not to admire that even as a Red Sox fan so I looked up to his work ethic. I wanted to go that extra mile to get the job done, not only for me, but for my team. Wrestling is an individual sport, but I always felt like I was wrestling for a high purpose which is why I was so devoted to bringing back a Golden Age of Old School wrestling. These days though I feel like I'm alone, like I'm a dying breed and I wonder if I should keep fighting the good fight or just let it go.

REGIS: I spent fifty years in television. You don't get anywhere if you quit. You have to keep on plugging along like the Yankees did in the early nineties despite all of those horrible teams because you never know what is right around the corner. Go out there against Alex Austin and show him some of that Yankee Pride, maybe the ghosts of Yankees past will help lead you to the promise land.

JONATHAN MARX: The Yankees and Legends go hand and hand. You are right, I can't give up. If I'm ever going to make it to Monument Park, I have to win it all and the road to the finals is through Alex Austin.
