Here's my feedback:
Good intro to the show. A lot of cards seem to lack these, especially for PPVs, but you can really see some effort was put into it. I really like seeing commentators review the night's line-up, just in case there's a first-time reader out there who needs to catch up on important events.
The short-form matches were also really good. I've always been a staunch supporter of long-forms, but the shorties were effective this time around, because rather than having to sift through pages of dialogue, the story is giving in a decent and descriptive synopsis of the story. Including the commentary reactions also sold over well. Many short-forms cut these guys out entirely, but they still felt like a part of every match.
The Scott Douglas vs. Perfection match was the highlight of the event. Really long, really epic... you guys should be proud of your work on that. The finish was also pretty good, and ties in with the storyline angle Wade is working on with Douglas. Good job, again.
I guess my major criticism is the main event. On a personal level, I was disappointed. I figured when I agreed to have Rocko booked, I'd get to see him in another match (and to be honest, it's been a LONG time since I've seen him in one). So, when I instead read that he didn't make it to the arena and it was followed with his opponent basically trashing him on the stick in front of his hometown fans, it was kind of a let-down. It feels like Rocko's been getting a lot of flak since his name's been mentioned, and I really wanted to see him at least try to speak against all that through actions. It seems like no matter where I take Rocko, he always just gets treated like an ineffectual b*tch.
On a completely subjective level, denying paying fans a main event just seems really taboo. In the IWF Universe, it would be like cheating the fanbase out of what they wanted to see. Especially at a PPV event. The first major event really needed a huge climax to cap off the action, and it instead ended with a whimper instead of a bang. This is not to say that the focus should be keeping up the heat between Seti and Perfection. The angle isn't bad... it's just the execution. The way this Pay Per View ended, it felt like a regular televised show. PPVs are hinged on two things going down: first, the blow-off, and second, the cliff-hanger, which goes into the next program. We got a cliff-hanger, but no blow-off.
How would I have done it differently? I would have gone ahead with the match, made it a pretty even battle. Then, at the end, Perfection would come down to the ring, either cost Rocko the win or do something to get Seti disqualified. It would have protected both characters, and it would have continued building the heat between Seti and Perfection. Daymon collects his paycheck and rides off into the sunset.
As an alternative, the attack could have gone on as planned, but Daymon still manages to come down to the ring, obviously hurt. He still goes through the with the match, honoring his commitment to his fans and his hometown, even though Seti dominates him and gets the win.
I'm not trying to knock the effort put into the writing and angling. I'm just saying this for future consideration. A Pay Per View event is HINGED upon having a main event. Even if one star doesn't show up, there should be a back-up in the locker room to come out and keep the show moving. Outside of that, though, this card was excellent.
