[Fade into Tom Holzerman, standing in front of the big screen at the TEAM Studios in West Chester, PA. On said big screen, Joey Melton and Mr. Entertainment are struggling to grab the flag.]

TH: It's do or die time. The playoffs are set. Who'd be in? Who's left out? It's time to find out.

[Cue up "Down" by Stone Temple Pilots.
Cut to BEAST thumping JOE AVERAGE with a powerbomb.
Cut to MR. AMAZING! assaulting D! with the Championship of Champions Belt.
Cut to KARINA WOLFENDEN delivering the Dual Halo to ADAM BENJAMIN.
Cut to ULYSIS SOLIAN staring down DANNY BOY VEGAS.

Cut to KARL BROWN hoisting the Merrit Trophy, then flash cut to D! with the Championship of Champions Belt across his waist.

Cut to: The Epicenter logo once more, fading into Tom Holzerman and Steve Murray at the Epicenter desk.]

TH: Hello everybody! I'm Tom Holzerman, here's Steve Murray. Welcome to Epicenter, folks.

[Cut to an EPW/NEW graphic, Holzerman sitting in front.]

TH: No one thought that EPW would be in this position. Win or go home. They were the odds-on favorite to take this group, and now, they needed a win over NEW just to create a logjam at the top and perhaps force a sudden death playoff. It was do or die.

[Cut to the New Orleans Arena, MWG standing in the ring.]

TH V/O: The night didn't start off well for EPW as right off the bat, as this first match ended before it even started. Shane comes down the aisle and he's ambushed by MWG's manager, Krist Blue, who happens to be weilding a fire extinguisher. Now, you'd think Shane would win here via disqualification, but the match hasn't even started yet. Referee Brian Puter has no choice but to have the match start.

[Cut to in the ring, where Shane is staggering around. MWG looks on.]

TH V/O: The match officially starts and MWG takes full advantage, charging in. BRUTAL clothesline on Shane, sending him over the top rope. Shane takes a nasty spill and hits his head against the guard rail. Normally, that's not bad, but combine that with the trauma from the extinguisher shot a few minutes earlier, and Shane's out like a light. MWG wins by countout, and NEW takes a one to zip lead.

[Cut to Joey Melton jabbering at Mr. Entertainment.]

TH V/O: Joey Melton now has the weight of his entire federation on his shoulders, but that's the way the Unifier likes it. He was in trouble early, as Mr. Entertainment wasn't having any of his mouth running. Big clothesline.

[Cut to Mr. E behind Melton.]

TH V/O: Mr. E kept that momentum going early on here with this backdrop suplex, nicely executed.

[Cut to Mr. E with Melton staggered.]

TH V/O: Of course, you can't keep a good Sexual All-American down. Mr. E with the superkick that's blocked. Melton spins E around and hits him with his own backdrop.

[Cut to Melton running the ropes.]

TH V/O: And here we see Joey giving Mr. E the high knee, but not in his posterior. Right across the chest and Mr. E takes a tumble.

[Cut to Mr. E whipping Melton into the ropes.]

TH V/O: You also can't keep a good entertainer down, and Mr. E got right back up. Here he nails Melton with a neckbreaker out of the Irish Whip.

[Cut to Mr. E trying to climb the turnbuckle.]

TH V/O: And now, he's trying to grab the flag here, but Melton grabs him before he can. Electric chair and fall back for the suplex.

[Cut to Melton with Mr. E on the canvas.]

TH V/O: And for good measure, Melton nails Mr. E with the knee.

[Cut to Melton climbing the ropes.]

TH V/O: Now, it's Melton's turn to try and grab the flag, but he's accosted last minute, Mr. E slams on the ropes and the Sexual All-American's game is in trouble there.

[Cut to Mr. E with Joey spread eagle.]

TH V/O: And to add insult and even more injury to injury [wishbone leg split] I don't even want to describe that move.

[Cut to Mr. E climbing the ropes again.]

TH V/O: Mr. E once again trying to get his teammate to come out, but Joey gets up and drags him off of the turnbuckles by his ankle. Mr. E hits his head on the way down, and now Joey's in control.

[Cut to Melton with a Boston crab locked in.]

TH V/O: And here's Melton trying to wear down Mr. E, taking his legs out from under him.

[Cut to Melton climbing the turnbuckle.]

TH V/O: Melton climbing, so close to gaining the power play, but Mr. E catches him, grabbing his tights. He's climbing up too, and now he's at an even keel. Melton shifts himself around now, and here he goes, one elbow, but Mr. E trades him a punch. Elbow, punch, elbow, punch, elbow, elbow, and the third elbow sends Mr. E from the top, Joey Melton grabs the flag, and guess who comes out...

[Cut to the entry way.]

TH V/O: Yep, the EPW World Heavyweight Champion, Lindsay Troy. THe fans explode. Troy enters the ring and lands a roundhouse kick right to Mr. E's head. Then Melton grabs him as he falls back and nails him with a reverse DDT. Finally, Troy to the top and nails him with the shooting star press. Melton covers, and this one's all tied up.

[Cut to Frankie Scott in the ring with HAL]

TH V/O: All tied up, and this tag match becomes all important. Frankie Scott was a house on fire early on. Here he is laying punch after punch right into the grill of HAL.

[Cut to Scott behind HAL.]

TH V/O: Scott drills HAL with that German suplex.

[Cut to Chaos blind tagging himself in as HAL is running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Not even Chaos can stop Scott. Scott first with the clothesline on HAL and then like a cat, ducks Chaos' own lariato~! attempt and reverses it into a neckbreaker.

[Cut to Scott with Chaos in a half-crab.]

TH V/O: Scott wearing down Chaos here with the single leg crab here, man Scott was unable to be stopped. But His Phenomenalness would be derailed by miscommunication.

[Cut to Scott running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Scott bounces off the ropes, but right into Dan Ryan. Scott is shaken up, but then he turns around to look at Ryan. Both men stare each other down and exchange short words, but referee Monet Samuel demands that Ryan gets in the ring. The collision constitutes a blind tag! Ryan is livid, but before either him or Scott could protest, Chaos and HAL rush across the ring. HAL tackles Scott out of the ring and Chaos submarines Ryan, chop blocking his knee. Ryan falls through the ropes, holding his leg. And they'd attack that all night.

[Cut to Chaos with Ryan in a leg lace.]

TH V/O: Chaos working that right leg of Dan Ryan's, and you can see it's really starting to bother Ryan at this point.

[Cut to a gimpy Ryan up with Chaos sizing him up.]

TH V/O: And now Chaos lets HAL get in in on the action. He drops back, allows HAL the blind tag and comes in with a running kick on Ryan's right leg. Ryan to the canvas and HAL comes right in with the spinning toe hold. Scott tries to come in to even things up, but Samuel keeps him otu of the ring, allowing the NEWers to doubly stomp on Ryan.

[Cut to HAL with Ryan up and gimpy.]

TH V/O: And here's the final blow, HAL kicks Ryan in the leg, doubling him over. The Computer Expert grabs him and with his leg hurting and not able to give as much resistance, Ryan is prone to the Control-Alt-Delete. Scott tries for the save, but Chaos gets the counter save going, and HAL gets the pinfall on Dan Ryan. NEW wins, finishes their impressive undefeated run through Group B, and EPW goes home stunned. The dream is over.

[Cut to Holzerman at the desk.]

TH: After the match, all tests run on Ryan's leg came up negative. No lasting damage to his right leg. When asked if the leg still hurt, Ryan responded, "No, the leg doesn't hurt. The only thing that hurts is that my team is out of this tournament."

[Cut to Murray with the NAPW/WZW inset.]

SM: With EPW losing, NAPW clinched their spot in the playoffs by virtue of their head-to-head win over EPW. Did that mean they would take it easy over WZW?

[Cut to Patrick Bickle charging at Dallas Nash.]

SM V/O: Patrick Bickle sure wasn't as he's charging full-steam ahead at Dallas Nash. Flying cross chop and it sends the WZW superstar over the top rope. Then Bickle gets up, drops back and charges towards Nash again, leaping over the top with a no-hands plancha. Can you say, "Wipeout?" Both guys out on the canvas, referee Brian Puter counts. IT's close, but Bickle makes it back in in time, escaping with a countout victory.

[Cut to Bruce Richards and Kyle Roberts in the ring awaiting Ice Cold and Hunter McKay.]

SM V/O: The next match ended pretty badly for WZW as well. Ice Cold and Hunter McKay try to enter the ring sliding in, but in an amazing display of dexterity, Bruce Richards and Kyle Roberts with synchronized baseball slides meet them both at the crowns of their heads. Both wrestlers roll out of the ring, and Ice Cold has had it. He grabs a chair and heads into the ring with it, swinging at Kyle Roberts. Richards is able to deflect it so it doesn't nail his partner right in the head, but referee Monet Samuel has seen enough. She disqualifies the WZW guys as Roberts grabs the chair and chases Ice Cold out of the ring with it.

[Cut to Ravager and Titan as the cell lowers.]

SM V/O: NAPW clinches the win, but Titan's still thinking about taking some pride with him. He has the size advantage, but if we know one thing about Ravager, he's sadistic, and he shows it here. Kick to the gut adn a rake of the eyes on the big man. This only angers Titan though, who rubs his eyes and just boots the everloving crap out of the man they call Bob.

[Cut to Titan with his hand around Ravager's throat.]

SM V/O: It looks like we're gonna see Ravager go for a ride here, but with everything legal, All Business kicks Titan in his business. Titan staggers back and Ravager takes advantage by dropkicking him right out of the ring.

[Cut to Titan and Ravager near the cage.]

SM V/O: And Ravager not letting up here, dragging Titan's face across the cage. The big man gets busted open here.

[Back in the ring, Titan staggered, Ravager running the ropes.]

SM V/O: Titan's eyes covered in blood, but he still can see. Ravager running off the ropes and going for a leaping clothesline, but Titan catches him and drops him HARD to the canvas.

[Cut to Titan with Ravager in the military press.]

SM V/O: Here, Titan just shows who the strong man really is. Just tosses Ravager out of the ring onto the cage. Ravager crumples into a heap. Most men woudl fold after that, but Ravager proves resilient.

[Cut to Titan with Ravager up in the choke slam position.]

SM V/O: Titan showing his strength, but he's being a bit of a show off. He lifts Ravager high in the air, high enough for Ravager to get a clear shot at Titan's face with his legs. One kick, two kicks... three kicks to the face adn Titan topples down. Ravager deftly lands on top of him, sitting on his chest, and grabs his legs for the amazing one-two-three. Just like that, NAPW gains the sweep and they get to swoop into the playoffs with momentum.

[Cut to a final standings bracket.

W L D (Sweep) Pts
NEW 3 0 0 (1) 7
NAPW 2 1 0 (1) 5
EPW 1 2 0 (1) 3
WZW 0 3 0 (0) 0]

SM V/O: And there you see it, NEW finishes first and NAPW comes in second. They'll be heading for the playoffs. EPW will be going home although they did put up a valiant fight. WZW, swept out.

[Cue up Led Zeppelin, "No Quarter." Cut to Yori Yakamo Jr. wearing an electric yellow fur coat and assless chaps (thankfully he's facing front).]

TH V/O: Yori Yakamo, Jr. here looking quite scary, but would it be scary enough for him and El Tremendo to get a tag team win over Beast and Big Dog? We'll recap the WAR TO SETTLE THE SCORE next! Stay tuned.

[Cut to a commercial for Bud Light, the guy who never spills his beer.]

Re: TEAM EPICENTER: Dupree Cup Week 3

[Fade back into a shot of Steve Murray with an A1E/MBE inset.]

SM: Two bitter rivals whose hate for each other goes back over six years. One fed died and came back, not before invading the other one. There's lots of bad blood here and there's also the Group A title on the line as well as a possible bye.

[Cut to a shot of Spoiler staring down Troy Douglas halfway across the ring.]

SM V/O: First up, there's Spoiler, and there's Troy Douglas. Troy Douglas runs at Spoiler. Bad idea. Troy, say hello to a Spoilerline from Hell. Douglas to the canvas like a ton of bricks. And he wasn't done either. Spoiler goes over to Douglas and lifts him high in the air. Looks like a Spoilerbomb, but he holds him up there for a good long time, walking over to the edge of the ring. Then, he's not going to do what I think he's going to do, right? Wrong. He is. SpoilerBomb. WHAM~! All the way to the outside. Troy Douglas was probably legally dead for a minute or so after that. The countout is academic, and Spoiler gives MBE the early lead.

[Cut to Andrew Gilkison and IrishRed locked together in a dog collar.]

SM V/O: If you thought that wasn't pretty, wait 'til you see this. It wasn't pretty, but at least it wasn't one-sided. In fact, early on, it resembled more of a melee than a wrestling match. Gilkison and Red trading punches like brokers trade stocks.

[Cut to Red with the chain tensed up in his hands.]

SM V/O: Red would get the upper hand eventually, and here he is, whipping Andy like the proverbial government mule. God, I feel so dirty.

[Cut to Red wrapping the chain around his fist.]

SM V/O: Red making full use of the chain as his personal weapon, wrapping his fist in it and just wailing on Andy. It's a wonder the Gilkinator doesn't get busted open here.

[Cut to Red with the chain as a whip again.]

SM V/O: Red about to go back to the well, but Gilkie says you can never go back again. Red misses with the whip and Andy takes the sharp angle to put Red down on the ground. Andy right up and drive the knee right in Red's face. See, Andy can be brutal too, and he doesn't even need the chain.

[Cut to Andy grabbing the chain right where it locks into Red's collar.]

SM V/O: He's not adverse to using it though. Andy grabs the chain and tosses Red on his ass using it. Red sits up gasping for air.

[Cut to Red choking Andy with the chain.]

SM V/O: But what's good for the goose is good for the Gilkinator. After a counter and a knee to the kidneys, Red wraps that chain tightly around Andy's neck, choking the life out of him. Thankfully, referee Pat Jones does exercise the rope break on a chain choke, and Andy can breathe again.

[Cut to Andy with Red in position for the Andy Bomb.]

SM V/O: Andy looking to finish the match here, but Red counters with a back body drop. Andy shoots right back up, but Red just snaps back with a chain shot across the chest, and another, and finally he wraps the chain around his arm and nails Gilkie with a spiked clothesline. Red then turns Gilkie over on his belly and heads to the top. He looks like he's sizing up for the Cold Shot, but before he can jump, Andy yanks the chain and sends Red crashing down to the canvas, head first. He crawls over and covers... one, two... three! A1E ties this one up at one apiece.

[Cut to Beast and Yori Jr. in the ring.]

SM V/O: It all comes down to this. Yori comes right up to Beast and brazenly points in his chest, which causes the Alpha Male to club Yori right upside his head. Yori, down on all fours, seems out of it, but in desperation, he nails Beast with an unseen low-blow. He crawls over to the corner and tags in El Tremendo who just plants Beast with that neckbreaker.

[Cut to YYJ back in the ring, strutting around a fallen Beast.]

SM V/O: After some deft distractions of referee Selena Summer and copious low blows, Beast is down on the canvas and Yori's strutting. Bouncing off the ropes and we've got a knee across the larynx.

[Cut to Beast a little wobbly on his feet and Yori with his wrist.]

SM V/O: Of course, we all need to remember here that not only is Beast a giant wrecking machine, but Yori can be a bit inept at times. Take right here, where he's haphazardly trying to whip Beast into the corner one-handed. You don't do that to Beast if you're that size, and Beast makes him pay. Short-arm clothesline and big stomp.

[Cut to Yori running the ropes.]

SM V/O: And it doesn't stop there. Yori shown what a real Irish whip looks like and then Beast goes on to show him what a really, really painful spinebuster looks like. Ouch.

[Cut to Big Dog with Yori in the corner.]

SM V/O: Now it's time for Big Dog to get in on the action. Yori backed up in the corner and Dog is just hammering his ribs with those soup bones. Summers interjects herself to keep the damage down, but the damage looks to be done. Yori falls forward on his knees, holding his ribs.

[Cut to Yori begging off from Dog.]

SM V/O: That damage apparently wasn't enough. Yori trying like hell to get Big Dog not hit him through verbal means... or is he? El Tremendo tries to hop in the ring, and the second Dog takes his eyes off Yori... another nutshot. Seriously, doesn't Yori know anything about Guy Code?

[Cut to Big Dog on one knee.]

SM V/O: Yori follows that up with more underhandedness, a Shining Eye Gouge. He was warned for that though, but really, what good does that do?

[Cut to El Tremendo in the ring working over Big Dog.]

SM V/O: Poor Big Dog can't catch a break. El Tremendo stomps him here in the head. Then he sits Dog up and puts on a chinlock. Innocuous enough move, eh? Well, not when ever chance he could he put his feet up on the ropes to gain leverage.

[Cut to El T trying to go for the F Bomb]

SM V/O: El Tremendo tries to finish the match off, F Bomb style. However, Dog ain't budging that easily. El T can't lift Dog on his shoulders and Big Dog just clubs the crown of the Conservative Luchador's head with a double axehandle.

[Cut to El T running the ropes.]

SM V/O: How does one spell retribution? P-O-W-E-R-S-L-A-M, at least that's how Big Dog spells it. El T is in a world of hurt.

[Cut to Beast sizing up El T.]

SM V/O: And now, it's Beast's turn, and he's looking to mess some things up inside of El T's belly. Mainly through this... GORE! and a beaut. Beast is looking for the kill now. He grabs El T up. Meanwhile though, Yori pulls a... [Steve shudders] dildo out of his tights and leaps across the ring at Big Dog. Selena Summer accosts Yori and she's between the two wrestlers. In the mean time, as Beast is trying to wrangle El T, the Conservative Luchador pulls something of his own out of his tights, namely a pair of brass knuckles. Goodnight Beastie. Summer takes the sex toy from Yori and then hurries down to make the count. Yori keeps Dog from breaking it up, and in controversial fashion, MBE snags victory, two matches to one, to take the Group A title. A1E still makes the playoffs, but this has to stick in their craw. I'm sure Dog and the gang are going to want to get another piece of Team MBE in the playoffs.

[Cut to Tom Holzerman in front of a UCW/EUWC inset.]

TH: In terms of playoff implications, the UCW/EUWC match had no bearing. However, don't tell anyone on either side that this match didn't count. Both teams were hungry for a win, hungry to go home and be able to say they at least weren't shut out.

[Cut to Cameron Cruise and The Sergeant in the ring across from Damian Stone and Classy Mike C.]

TH V/O: Cameron Cruise and Sarge versus Damian Stone and Mike C. This one started out ugly as all four men started to brawl wildly. There's Sarge just raking Stone's face across the ropes. The action spills out of the ring and referee Pat Jones starts counting everyone out. Just brutal carnage here. The count reaches nine, and Sarge, who's UCW's legal man, is the only one who notices. He hops back in the ring and gives UCW the early lead.

[Cut to AOD and Adam Benjamin grappling.]

TH V/O: Next up, it's AOD battling the EUWC Champion representing UCW, Adam Benjamin. Benjamin gets the early upper hand here, collar and elbow into a hammerlock into a sweet back suplex.

[Cut to AOD running the ropes.]

TH V/O: But AOD wasn't going to be deterred. Here he is hitting a nice cross body on Benjamin here.

[Cut to AOD on the top rope with Benjamin staggering a bit.]

TH V/O: And here, AOD's got the missile dropkick right into Benjamin's chest.

[Cut to Benjamin behind AOD.]

TH V/O: You can't keep Benjamin down though. Here he is with the German suplex with bridge. He gets a two count here.

[Benjamin rushes towards AOD bent on one knee.]

TH V/O: Benjamin looks to finish here with the Shining Wizard. He gets his foot planted on AOD's thigh, but AOD last second grabs Benjamin's legs and tosses him over his head. Benji lands neck first on the ropes and as he staggers back, AOD catches him with a victory roll for the one, two, three. AOD scores the upset win over the EUWC Champion here, and knots this series up at one apiece.

[Cut to The First and Jay Smash in the ring surrounded by fire.]

TH V/O: Finally, it's the inferno match, and early on, The First was, excuse the pun, on fire. Here he is with fists flailing on Jay Smash.

[Cut to Smash running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Jay Smash right back in the thick of things here with a huge running lariat on The First here. Look at the flames shooting up from the ring.

[Cut to First with Smash in a side armbar.]

TH V/O: Here the First is back in control, wearing down the Disease, very close to those flames. Very hot, but that wouldn't be the only place where they'd play into this match.

[Cut to The First running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Smash with the Irish whip on The First and he nails the brooding Goth with a flapjack. The First lands dangerously close to the flames, so close that his hair catches on fire. He panicks around the ring trying to get the fire out. He finally does... and he's met immediately by a No Hope Springboard Leg Drop from the top. Smash covers the shell-shocked first, and EUWC escapes with a win and a badly needed dosage of pride.

[Cut to a final standings bracket.

W L D (Sweep) Pts
MBE 3 0 0 (2) 8
A1E 2 1 0 (2) 6
EUWC 1 2 0 (0) 2
UCW 0 3 0 (0) 0]

TH V/O: And so there you go, MBE clinches the group and a first round bye and the top seed overall. A1E, well, they're not too far behind and they're going to want to get back at MBE something fierce.

[Cue up Led Zeppelin, "No Quarter." Cut to Jason Payne and Derecho brawling backstage.]

SM V/O: The in-ring action in Group C wasn't much, but out of the ring, boy, oh yeah. Stick around for the fireworks, adn for some news about the next SuperShow.

[Cut to a commercial for School for Scoundrels, featuring Ben Stiller with a ridiculous moustache.]

Re: TEAM EPICENTER: Dupree Cup Week 3

[Fade back into the TEAM Studios, Tom Holzerman with a LoC/AWC inset.]

TH: Well, this one was supposed to be the match of the bracket. Instead, AWC went seemingly cold going into it. The signs weren't looking good as we hit to action.

[Cut to Paddy O'Shea and Turk brawling around in the ring.]

TH V/O: First we got the Pure Honor Rules match, and Paddy and Turk aren't wrestling like it. Referee David Rosenkrantz is just taking away all their rope breaks, but neither man seems to care. Finally, he calls for the bell, to which both wrestlers turn around and start yelling at the ref. He explains himself, and both wrestlers shrug and go to the back. Inexplicable, I tells ya.

[Cut to Red Rock and Ulysis Solian grappling.]

TH V/O: Next up, it's Red Rock and the Artist Formerly Known as S. They're grappling and Solian out of the gates nails Red Rock with a clubbing blow to the back of the head and a powerbomb. This causes Red Rock's ginger pal, D'Avid to jump into the ring and assault Solian. Solian doesn't take too kindly to it and just murders the lad with a Burning Hammer. Red Rock is disqualified though, and LoC takes the win here, a win and a draw in the column.

[Cut to Chainz in the ring by himself with Derecho and KKK.]

TH V/O: Now, Chainz' partner in this tag match, Anton Assault, recently retired with nearly no notice, so he wasn't at the arena. Chainz said he'd go it alone, so he attacks where he's doubled up by Kenright and Derecho. He's beaten down quite easily, but Chainz has an ace up his sleeve... well, more like a blackjack. He pulls it out and nails Kenright with it. Referee John Sharlpin has no choice but to disqualify Chainz, but Derecho's not done yet. Kick to Chainz' gut and Vortex Bomb. LoC wins and they sweep through Group C.

[Cut to Steve Murray at the desk with a NFW/RDJW inset.]

SM: You know, the less I say about this meet going in, the better.

[Cut to Nova and Jaco Patterson in the ring.]

SM V/O: Here we go, Nova and Patterson, and this one never really got started. Collar and elbow tie up, and Nova nails the Miracle Baby with a DDT. Patterson gets up and just storms out of the ring. Referee David Rosenkrantz counts him out as he goes to the back, and Nova wins.

[Cut to an empty ring.]

SM V/O: The next match was supposed to be between the team of Lone Wolf and WildStar against Brazilian Disaster and Joe McManus. Neither team showed up.

[Cut to a locker room in the back, the four competitors smoking a peace pipe.]

SM V/O: They were found though, all smoking from Wolf's peace pipe. The match was ruled a no-contest, and all four men were detained until it was found out that the peace pipe did indeed contain tobacco.

[Cut to Jason Payne and Ronaldodinho in the ring, table set up behind the Brazilian.]

SM V/O: The next match actually did happen, although it wasn't very long. Rondaldodinho tries to kick Payne here, but Payne catches it and just floors Ronaldodinho. Quickly after, he gets the full nelson locked in and Payne Killer right through the table. Game over, NFW wins.

[Cut back to the studio.]

SM: Now, that wasn't all. After the last match, Derecho and Jason Payne ran into each other backstage, and let me tell you, it wasn't pretty. TEAM cameras were lucky to catch the footage, so we're going to show it to you, exclusive to this program.

[Cut to the backstage area.]

SM V/O: These two are just nailing each other, brawling recklessly. They burst into the entryway of the Staples Center, fans all around. And this is where it gets ugly. Payne grabs a fire extinguisher and sprays it at Derecho. He gets him, but he also nails some fans with the carbon dioxide. Derecho shakes himself off, but the fans aren't so lucky. EMTs scramble to take care of them. Then Derecho looks for an equalizer, and he finds an urn of steaming coffee. He tosses it at Payne, hitting him and more fans. Derecho goes to follow up, but thankfully, Staples Center security and the LAPD show up to break the fracas up. Both Payne and Derecho were arrested on site.

[Cut back to the studio.]

SM: After the brawl, TEAM officials fined both Payne and Derecho their entire purses for the tournament. They have also placed a ban on contact between the two wrestlers. This means, no physical contact between the two until they're slated to meet at TEAM SuperShow II in Austin, Texas. There, they will meet in a no holds barred, falls count anywhere match.

[Cut to a final standings bracket.

W L D (Sweep) Pts
LoC 3 0 0 (0) 6
NFW 2 1 0 (0) 4
AWC 1 2 0 (1) 3
RDJW 0 3 0 (0) 0]

SM V/O: And what's worse, NFW and LoC are slated to meet in the playoffs, so Derecho and Payne will be in the same meet but won't be allowed to go near each other under pain of getting booted from the tournament altogether. Heavy stuff. As for the other playoff details, A1E will battle NAPW in the other wild card match, while MBE and NEW have earned byes.

[Cut to Tom Holzerman]

TH: Speaking of SuperShow II, another huge match has been signed. D!, the Champion of Champions, will meet Mr. Amazing!, the number one contender to that title in a tag match. Both men have been instructed to find their own tag team partners, which neither man has done to date. Added to intrigue, the winner of this tag match will be able to name the stipulation for their huge Championship of Champions match at SuperShow III. We'll have more details on this second TEAM SuperShow as we get them.

[Cut to a wide shot showing both Tom and Steve.]

TH: That'll do it for us. Make sure you tune in after the first playoff action is over, because you know we'll have all the coverage you need. For Steve Murray, I'm Tom Holzerman. Goodnight, everyone.

[Fade to the TEAM logo.]
