[updated:LAST EDITED ON Oct-18-02 AT 08:43 PM (EDT)](“With Chi-town showdown a memory now, and the crowning of the first ever GLCW tag team champions jotted down in the wrestling annuals as none other than the Unholy Alliance, with all its chaos and controversy, we now go to South Bend, Indiana! Where the newly crowned champions will once again face off against the Movement, a team that allegedly took JC’s money and agreed to help eliminate the competition leaving them and the UA to square off for the coveted gold that sets the best from the rest… But folks, there’s more to this little saga than one might suspect… Yes that’s right folks, for even though the Movement did indeed take JC’s money, they fought tooth and nail to obtain those golden titles, as did the UA… However I would like to point out at this time, that while a deal was struck, it is now evident that neither Kraven nor Flatliner were to take part of that deal, their mindset was on a different level as that of JC and even the Movement… I was curious to see what the UA had to say about that and their upcoming match against the Movement, so I ventured into the forbidden zone, their training facilities… But before I was actually able to enter the facilities I was stopped dead in my tracks by none other than KONN! Yes folks, Konn who along with NE were members of the infamous NEH, along with Nevada, and the UA just to mention a few… Almost pissed on myself folks, because as everyone knows it is “taboo” to enter the training camp of the NEH and even though they are a thing of the past, their methods as well as their history still lingers in the halls of wrestling… And as I was about to get booted out, when I happen to see Kraven, along with Flatliner, massive masses of solid human flesh, sweat glistening from their massive frames, apparently from one of their extremely strenuous workouts that only Konn and NE can administer… I yelled out to Kraven whom I felt was the most reasonable of the pack and asked him to come to my show along with Flatliner… They slowly approach to where I was being held at and in my opinion saved me from a vicious beat down, I could feel it folks… Konn was about to beat the crap out of me, believe me folks I know he was, I know the way he thinks… And I did put my very well being in jeopardy but that’s one of the drawbacks of being an investigative reporter and when it comes to these guys, I am to a point willing to take that chance… A lot has been brewing in casa NEH as JC calls it even though, the NEH is no longer around as a unit, save for the UA who as the youngest of that former group have carve a path of destruction where ever they go… Believe me when I say folks Kraven and Flatliner are at their peak… And while I take nothing away from the Movement cause they are indeed one hell of a tag team… But let’s face facts folks, the UA are one of the most cohesive teams around today, they think, eat and sleep wrestling… They know each other like the back of their hands and with former members of the NEH training them, well do I need to say more!? I was able to get some comments from the UA and folks, before we go to that interview, I would like to point out at this time that it would seem that Mr. incomprehensible himself, JC is not allowed anywhere near these facilities! I also want to say a big hello to Jake Shades, remember him folks!? A very controversial individual, but he does speak the truth or so he claims… A BIG welcome back to Jake! Now let’s get on with that interview I have all your mouths savoring for"!

(We come into focus on the UA, massive frames still glistening from their daily workout, a few bruises here and there but none the less intimidating and very dangerous, as they just glare into our camera… Rico begins it by saying….)

RS: Hey guys, let’s cut to the chase, you don’t allow anyone near your training area, not even JC is allowed around here, why!?

KRAVEN: Cause he has NO business being around here, like I said before, he’s here to do our bidding! And if he doesn’t like, TOUGH!

RS: Oooookay…. The GLCW announce this match days ago, yet if I’m right you guys weren’t even planning to do a promo, and either the Movement was waiting to see you guys cut the first promo or they’re planning the same… Let me ask you, if I hadn’t shown up, would you have cut a promo at all!?

FLATLINER: NO! What the hell is the purpose of a damn promo anyway!? To put asses in those seats! To sell it to the media! And who does all that!? We DO! US, the Movements, the Golems, The Mansons, the Blazer, and even the Maelstroms! Can’t forget the Martinez’ and even Frenchie! We’re the ones that do all that, and it certainly isn’t by coming out here and popping crap! Hell no, it’s by our actions, the more intense the more it sells! And THAT’S what separates US, (Points to himself and Kraven) from the rest! We don’t need to perform any damn promo! Our actions in the ring are the living promo!

KRAVEN: Ain’t that the truth! Me and the big man, know that the Movement can dance with the wolves! And with each level we escalate they are right there hanging with us… But even there, there’s 6 degrees of separation! That impenetrable 6 degrees…

RS: So what you’re saying is that no way, no how will the Movement get to take the tag belts away from you!?
(“With a very sinister smirk, he first looks at me and then slowly and methodically looks at Konn and Flatliner… Now this time I see NE out of the corner of my eye as he along with Czar approach us, I swallow hard upon seeing Czar, with our past history and all, I usually steer clear from him… I can feel his heavy glare on me, burning like a red hot beam”…)

KRAVEN: Rico, my man the Movement may think of us as old, over the hill veterans, now the veteran part they have right, it’s the being old part that has them confused… That and the fact that JC paid them off… But were we a part of that transaction!? Did we agree to any deals made by that runt!? HELL NO! Everyone in that ring was fair game, including YOU, Movement! You see it was you two “blokes” that erred! You decided to take it upon yourself to accept JC’s bribe, and whatever bull, he spewed out! We never agreed to anything Movement! And as far as being old… (Smirks menacingly) Sure we’re old… I’m 28 years old and Flats here is 27 years old, now if it’s that you’re combining both our ages, then yea we’re old… You’re strong, you’re quick and talented and can think on your feet, but it ends there guys! We’ve gone beyond that, we have catapulted ourselves several levels above that… My advise to you Movement is to stop worrying about our age and start to worry about what really is at stake here… Your continued performance as a unit, cause if you make one little mistake, just a little one guys, you’re going to wake up flat on your backs trying to figure out what happened…

CZAR: TIME’S UP Rico! The guys have to get back to training, so hit the road!

(“I didn’t wait to be told twice, like I said the chemistry between myself and Czar is one of a very volatile nature… And after a while you get tired of being someone’s punching bag and I’m no exception… Folks as always the pleasure has been all yours”!)

Hour of Power

(The following is a radio broadcast)

("Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine fades in.)

V/O: "Now, coming to you LIVE on 1350 WNNL, this is the HOUR OF POWER with your host, HYPE STARBUCK!"

("Guerilla Radio" fades out after 30 seconds.)

HYPE STARBUCK: "Hey there wrestling fans, and thanks for tuning in tonight to the HOUR OF POWER! Tonight I've got one of the hottest tag teams in the world of wrestling on my program. They come to us from the GLCW, they are NOT, and I repeat NOT the Unholy Alliance of Flatliner and Kraven. Instead we'll be having Shane Rockwell and Rocky Wellington, the Movement and their always beautiful valet, Britni."

"Now before I bring them in, I need to hit on a point about these two teams. Back at Chi-town Showdown the tag team titles of the GLCW were up for grabs. Four teams entered the evening with a chance at being the first ever GLCW tag team champions. Gridlock, High Plains Drifters, The Movement and of course, the Unholy Alliance. Earlier that week we had understood by JC that there had been a settlement between he and another team. The details were pretty simple. JC had paid one of the teams to help the Unholy Alliance defeat the other two teams, at which point that team was supposed to lay down for the Unholy Alliance. But it seems as if JC's plan backfired. He paid off the Movement. Rockwell and Wellington are two young studs and were just as determined to win those GLCW tag team straps as Kraven and Flatliner. Rockwell and Wellington refused to lay down and put up a valiant fight against the Unholy Alliance, but it wasn't enough on that night. The Unholy Alliance nailed Wellington with the Face Off to secure the titles."

"Even though the damage had been done, Rockwell and Wellington still had their eyes on the title. Owner Scott Malec ordered a match between the High Plains Drifters and the Movement, with the winner receiving a title shot against the Unholy Alliance on the next GLCW Riptide card. The Movement put it together and put the Drifters away and secured themselves a shot at the title against Kraven and Flatliner the GLCW tag team champions. Let's bring them in..."

(The theme to Quake II by Rob Zombie plays, after a few moments Hype is back on mic)

HYPE STARBUCK: "Well guys it's certainly good to finally meet you."

SHANE ROCKWELL: "Sure, it's a pleasure to be on this program Hype."

HYPE STARBUCK: "So for those people listening at home, let's go through how you got to be in Great Lakes Championship Wrestling."

SHANE ROCKWELL: "My career got it's start with the owner/promoter Stanley Victor Rothenstein. At the time, Rothenstein was set to reopen the World Wide Wrestling Association. I was trained by Rothenstein, and was to be one of the new talents associated with his product. However when things fell through, I was forced to go out on my own. It was then that I brought Britni along with me."

HYPE STARBUCK: "Now I know some insiders compare your relationship with Britni to Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch."

SHANE ROCKWELL: "It's never mattered to me what someone says or thinks about me. It just simply doesn't factor into my mind. So after a few independant gigs I got involved with the World Class Wrestling Association. After four matches I won the World title. December of 2001 WCWA closed down and again I was out of a job."

BRITNI KELLEY: "Well, we weren't really out of a job, but the independant scene wasn't paying what we thought was a fair price."

HYPE STARBUCK: "Wasn't it Rothenstein that introduced you to Wellington?"

ROCKY WELLINGTON: "Indeed it was Mr. Rothenstein. You see I had just come over to the United States earlier in the year with Steven Pierce. I, personally, had experienced a huge amount of success in England. Carlton Chambers brought us over to compete in the NFW. We had two matches and then we were released. So I guess you could say my path to GLCW is near the same as Shane's."

HYPE STARBUCK: "So Rothenstein put you two guys together, and?"

SHANE ROCKWELL: "Well we went to Global Xtreme Wrestling and there we hit it off big, scoring the titles and the fans heat. But GXW just couldn't afford the price tag that we carried."

HYPE STARBUCK: "So it was then that Rothenstein introduced you to King Krusher and Scott Malec?"

SHANE ROCKWELL: "Exactly. King Krusher had worked a WWWA show in the past as a special referee. So basically Rothenstein called in a favor for us, and then just a week later we're on live television."

HYPE STARBUCK: "So that brings us to present day. You've scored a good amount of success thus far in GLCW, and now you're facing Kraven and Flatliner, two legends of this sport, for the GLCW tag team titles."

SHANE ROCKWELL: "You know though, it's about more than just titles. This is it for the Movement. Rocky and I finally have a chance to prove to all of the naysayers out there that we are indeed championship calibre material."

"Sure we don't have the long and fabled history that Kraven and Flatliner, but I think that you'll see the Movement take those two to a new level of intensity that no other team has taken them."

HYPE STARBUCK: "I know it's got to be tough to go back to the devestating loss at the Chi-town Showdown, but let's go back and talk about that match. In the week leading up to that match, JC had told the world that he had bribed one of the teams into helping the Unholy Alliance winning the GLCW titles."

ROCKY WELLINGTON: "I'd dare say he picked the wrong team to pay off. Those two ol' gents thought that Shane and myself would lie down for them? While it might seem as if we'd do what was right for the money, we chose not to."

SHANE ROCKWELL: "Hell we never claimed to be ethical. We just claim to be the HOTTEST damn tag team in GLCW. But listen. I know the Unholy Alliance is listening. Boys, I saw your promo. Most impressive. I mean, GOOD GOD, why not bring back everyone from your past? Hell, I think some of those guys are considered LEGENDS to some of the LEGENDS of this business."

"Kraven, Flatliner, we've done business your way. Now boys, we're gonna do business our way. No money, no BS. Unlike you two old timers, we're not surrounding ourselves with an enterage. Instead we're pumping the iron in the gym. We're eating good meals. Hell, we're even catchin' some sun when time permits. We aren't sparring with guys four times our age. What it all comes down to boys it this, you've got the titles... and we want them and the respect that comes with them. Make no mistake about it, we're ready to do whatever it takes to bring those titles home with us. If that means that I have to break every bone in my body, then so be it. If it means that I have to let you snap my neck, THEN DO IT! When we leave, we're LEAVING as the CHAMPS and the saga that was once Kraven and Flatliner will be replaced by the MOVEMENT. Now old fellas, stick that up your ass and try it on for size!"

HYPE STARBUCK: "Two nights from now we'll watch these two teams collide. Stay tuned, after the break I'll be breaking down last nights PPV offering from the WWE, No Mercy."

Clear and present danger....

(Fade into a brick wall.... The letters GLCW sprayed painted on its wall... In front standing stoically are both Kraven and Flatliner... Their eyes intensely glaring down on our camera....

KRAVEN: Movement, it would seem that what we have here is a failure to communicate.... You see guys, even though JC paid you off, we NEVER needed your help and that should have been evident by the way we manhandled you two "blokes"... You see guys; we don't listen to what JC has to say or what he does... But let's cut to the chase here... You state that YOU WILL emerge with the tag team gold... (Pauses and smirks cynically) In what world could you ever best us Movement!? So spare us the walk down memory lane crap! We don't give a hairy monkeys ass who broke you into the business and who you know... The fact that both you and JC got suckered into believing one thing and me and the big man came up with a whole new itinerary should school you in just how differently we play this game... So when you say that you’ve done business our way... And that now we're gonna do business your way, no money, no BS... That's what we been saying all along boys, you see you two were the ones that got caught up in JC's lil scam, not us! Like I have said numerous times already we never agreed to any such deal, you did! And if you want to think that, we're surrounding ourselves with an entourage of old timers that are older than the ice age, go right ahead guys, those ice age fossils have more knowledge in one hand than you will ever possess "ya bloody blokes"

(Flatliner grins deviously and shakes his head....)

FLATLINER: Now let me see if I have this straight... You say that you are pumping the iron in the gym, that you're eating all these good meals and even catching a few rays whenever the time permits... OH! And that unlike us, you're not sparring with rejects from the Jurassic era... Tell me something Movement, are you two morons that naïve!? We never expected you to just lay down like slaughtered sheep, we knew that we were going to have to knock you on your ass and kick your teeth in; we knew THAT even before the match got under way... You see Movement, we know that you are tough, but we're tougher, we know that you two are smart but we're smarter and most importantly, while it is true that you two are hot and hungry, WE are hotter and much more hungrier that you or anyone can even imagine.... You want to talk about pain and agony, “make no mistake about it, Shane”!? Is that what you said!? (Points to himself and Kraven) We don’t make mistakes! We know what it is going to take for us to stay on the top of the food chain… We been there and done that Shane… The fact that we train with the “old” guys is irrelevant, age comes with wisdom, and combine that and what you don’t know, combine THAT and what does it add up to!? Don’t know Shane, how about you Rocky!?

KRAVEN: You boys seem to be under this false impression that you're just going to do a dance and a jig and TAKE THESE! (Points to belts on his and Flatliner's shoulders...) Do you think that we're going to just lay down for you!? (Laughs) If that's your train of thought going into this match, then that plan is come back to bite you in the #####! You see Rocky, Shane; while you are going around boasting about this title and that title to us they're nothing more than wall decorations and conversation pieces... That was then, this is now, and NOW you have to go through us in order to get the gold... A very hard and painful task awaits you, but I know that you're up for the job, I see it in your eyes, you're hungry, you're yearning, but alas.... All that is going to go down in flames!

FLATLINER: It's pointless and useless to try to reason with them Krave, they are not focused on what lies ahead, they're too busy mesmerized by the glitter of the gold... Straying away from what’s really important, it doesn’t matter who we train with or whether we’re older than dirt or who the hell we train with… What matters is what we do and how we do it! THAT’S what you should worry about, THAT! And how you can come out of this in one piece… We are here to deprive every peon who thinks that they have a snowball's chance in hell to take these away from us... (He now points to the belts...) Do your homework boys, do the math and tell me what's the answer to the equation... Somewhere deep in your minds, you KNOW that it will be useless, that it won't really be worth the trouble, the pain and once again the letdown... For when all the smoke clears, you will once again be flat on your backs staring at the rafters trying to figure out where did it all go wrong again... One clue gentlemen... You both BLINKED! And that's all it took the first time and that's all it'll take this time!

(As they leave, on the wall we begin to see collages of wrestling matches both past and present… It then fades into a collage of GLCW matches, and slowly ends with the UA and the Movement in a stare down… It flashes back to the tag team elimination match and the crowning of its winners, in between we see cuts of JC, bragging about what he did, his facial expressions as the UA become tag team champions and even an hour later when he gets tossed of of the UA locker room, his face distorted as he pounds and kicks the door, quickly rushing off as Kraven opens the door, and tosses a black leather bag in JC’s direction… As we start to fade off, we see JC picking up the bag, and cursing in Kraven’s direction, that’s after Kraven went back inside….)
(Fade to black….)
