(FADEIN: Lady Veronica is in the backstage area, standing alongside Jean Rabesque, the crowd pops at sight of Rabesque)

LADY V: "I’m standing here with Jean Rabesque, who just a few moments ago, along with Golem, came out and saved Maelstrom from beating at the hands of Mike Manson and the GLCW Tag Team Champions, the Unholy Alliance, Jean, why save Maelstrom?"

JEAN RABESQUE: "Well, Veronica, I have always had a great deal of respect for Mael, and have never seen eye to eye with any of those guys. Everyone knows about my history with Manson, and the AFWC Southern Heavyweight Title still rings a bell with Kraven, so I figured I would stop something that I didn’t feel should happen."

LADY V: "OK, and what about your apparent alliance with Go-"

(she is interrupted as Kraven and Flatliner appear on the screen to Rabesque’s left, staring him down)

KRAVEN: "Now, look Jean, we have a little bit of work to do tonight, so we’re going to spare you the beating you deserve, but trust me it’s coming. But we want to leave you with a message..."

FLATLINER: "Listen, stay out of our business, and we might not cripple you. You’ve screwed with us in the past Jean, and you’ve paid every time. Don’t make that mistake again!"

(the two walk away very slowly, as Rabesque gazes at the two)

RABESQUE: "Sorry to cut this short, but I have a little of business of my own that I have to attend to."

(Rabesque walks down the hallway, and knocks on a locker room door, Golem answers and motions for Rabesque to enter, he enters the room, and the door slams in the cameraman’s face)

(CUTTO: Tony and Rick back at the announce booth)

TONY ROSS: "Rabesque and Golem? Of all the partnerships I expected here in the GLCW, that has to be about the last one!"

RICK WISEMAN: "Well, Tony, sometimes all you need is common enemies to make a partnership work, and Rabesque and Golem definitely have that! Also, some very strong words from Kraven and Flatliner!"

T.R.: "Rabesque does have a history with both of them, so it won’t be long before we see a showdown in the ring."

R.W.: "Up next, we have Sean Edmunds taking on Troy Martinez. For those of you who don’t recall, Martinez was in the Gauntlet match for the GLCW World Television Championship at Showdown until he was eliminated by Jon Skieler. Martinez has seemed a little bitter about this, and he and Skieler are not on the best of terms right now."

T.R.: "And as far as the web of hatred goes, Sean Edmunds has had his problems with Jean Rabesque as of late, so that could be leading to some altercations down the line as well. Let’s get up to Matt Faley for the introductions."

MATT FALEY: "This match is scheduled for one fall. (CUE-UP: "Brain Stew" by Green Day) From Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 228 lbs., he is "SIMPLY SENSATIONAL" SEAN EDMUNDS!!!!!!"

(crowd boos Edmunds as he cockily walks to the ring, wearing a white robe with "Simply Sensational" in sequins on the back, he enters the ring, and opens his arms to the crowd in a mocking fashion, and is met with even more boos, (CUE-UP: "Narcosynthesis" by Nevermore)

M.F.: "And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Karen Jewello, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 260 lbs., he is "THE ERADICATOR" TROY MARTINEZ!!!!"

(Martinez and Jewello come out to a decent pop, Jewello is in her normal black goth gear, Martinez wears shades, as well as a leather jacket over his ‘Nevermore’ shirt, he doesn’t acknowledge the crowd at all, but enters the ring and stares straight at Edmunds)

T.R.: "Collar and elbow tie-up starts this one off with Martinez sending Edmunds to the ground, using his size to his advantage."

R.W.: "I think Edmunds might want to reevaluate his strategy. Another tie up, but Edmunds goes behind, Martinez gets a standing switch, but Edmunds lands an elbow to the stomach, and now a drop toe hold takes Martinez down, and Edmunds follows with a rear chinlock to Martinez."

T.R.: "Nice job taking the big man down by Edmunds. Martinez now powers out and gets to his feet, he lands a few elbows of his own to Edmunds. Picks him up and bodyslams Edmunds down. Picks him back up again, backs up into the corner, and places some nice backhand slaps into the chest of Sean Edmunds."

R.W.: "Martinez now whips Edmunds into the far corner, charges with an elbow, and Edmunds is able to move out of the way. Kicks to the stomach by Edmunds, and a beautiful swinging neckbreaker takes Martinez down. Edmunds capitalizes quickly, he climbs to the middle rope, and hits a crossbody onto Martinez."

T.R.: "The pace of this match right now easily favors Edmunds, he prefers the matches to be more up-tempo. I think Martinez would prefer a more methodical pace."

R.W.: "Martinez back up, and Edmunds hits with a standing dropkick, and beautifully done. Edmunds takes a second to play to the crowd, which probably isn’t the best idea, as Jewello on the outside tries to motivate Martinez to his feet. Edmunds back on the attack. He charges but Martinez blocks a punch, Martinez now with a few of his own, as the crowd starts to get behind him! He sends Edmunds into the ropes but put his head down too early for that back body drop, and Edmunds kicked him square in the face!"

T.R.: "Edmunds now applies another rear chinlock onto Martinez. he has it locked in tight! Martinez is in a great deal of pain!! He is screaming, but he refuses to submit. The referee raises his arm, it drops, he raises it again, again it drops, one more, and Martinez keeps his arm up, he fights to his feet. Elbow, and another, and Edmunds is scrambling. Martinez hits the Total Eradication, a beautiful spinning heel kick and Edmunds is down! This crowd is firmly behind Troy Martinez right now!"

R.W.: "That’s right Tony, and he is definitely fighting back. Fisherman’s suplex! Here’s the cover, 1-2- and Edmunds barely gets out! German suplex, 1-2-and again Edmunds gets out! Up again, sitdown powerbomb! 1-2- and somehow Sean Edmunds managed to kick out all three times! That’s remarkable!!!"

T.R.: "I thought any of those three could have done it. Edmunds is definitely dazed now, and I think Martinez is frustrated with what just happened! He picks up Edmunds, but Edmunds rakes Martinez’s eyes. That at least got Sean Edmunds some time! Martinez charges and Edmunds hits a knee to Martinez’s stomach! He seems to have recovered a bit, and picks Martinez up, Double Underhook Suplex!! Cover, 1-2- and Martinez kicks out!"

R.W.: "Edmunds now, climbs the top rope, and lands an elbow onto Martinez! Edmunds is signaling that this is it. He’s going for the Original Sin!! He picks up Martinez, but Martinez slides off his back, Belly to Belly Suplex to Edmunds!!! Martinez is now signaling for The Eradication! He is going to put that Texas Cloverleaf on Edmunds. He grabs a leg. No, ROLLUP BY EDMUNDS, 1-2-3!!!!! Sean Edmunds just small packaged Troy Martinez and got the pinfall!!!!

MATT FALEY: "Here is your winner... (CUE-UP: "Brain Stew" by Green Day) "SIMPLY SENSATIONAL" SEAN EDMUNDS!!!!"

T.R.: "What a victory for Edmunds. He literally took that out of nowhere in what was a very even match."

R.W.: "And look at this sign of sportsmanship from Edmunds, as he offers his hand to Troy Martinez!"

T.R.: "Wait, EDMUNDS SLAPPED MARTINEZ! And now the two begin brawling once again, and here comes Jean Rabesque!! Rabesque is out to avenge his beating at Edmunds’ hand at Showdown!"

R.W.: "And Edmunds is running for the hills, as Martinez and Rabesque give chase."

(CUTTO: Jon Skieler staked out in the back, as Edmunds goes running through the curtain, followed by Rabesque and Martinez)

T.R.: "Jon Skieler is staked out in the back, he must be waiting for Martinez!! And he trips him up as Martinez chases Edmunds. And now Martinez and Skieler are brawling on the floor, as Rabesque continues to chase Edmunds in the back. Fans, we’ll be right back!"
