Still Got It?

Fade in to Showtime standing in the middle of what looks like an abandoned parking lot. There are little bits of machinery all around. James kneels down next to a sign that is covered with dirt, he brushes away the dirt to reveal the words "Rocky Point." Rocky Point was a popular amusement park in Rhode Island until it went out of business in the mid 90's due to places like Six Flags that contain many coasters instead of only one like Rocky Point. It had become outdated and old fashion and the newer, cooler, and more popular attractions took over. Rocky Points time had come and gone, it had nothing left, for it was the other places' time to shine. Showtime looks at the camera and begins

You know some people may say that my lost to Angel Castillo was a set back...however i have to disagree. You see i see my loss as a step forward because i said that Castillo could not beat me and he didn't. He couldn't beat me one on one so it took 4...count em'...4 men to beat me. It took 4 men to hit me until i couldn't get back up. It took 4 men to lacerate me and give me a mild concussion. But you see I'm not ignorant to the fact that if it wasn't for Brett Irvine i would be in a worst situation. My lacerations would be deeper and my concussion would have been to the point where i wouldn't be standing here today. So, to Brett Irvine i say to you...thank you. And if you ever need me to return the favor you know i've got your back.

Now onto my next opponent, "The Big Texan" Hawk McDaniel. Hawk make no mistake about it i respect you and i respect what you've done for this business in the past. However, That was then and this is now. And when we get into that ring make no mistake about it no matter how much i respect you, when that bell rings i won't care what you've done in the past for all that will matter is what you can do now. Because you, Hawk, are much like this place. This place once was the king of amusement parks, it was cool, it was hip, it was the place people wanted to be. You were the king of wrestling, you were cool, you were hip, and you were the person people wanted to see. Now the only thing you know about, as it pertains to hip, is that you just had yours replaced.

Hawk you have to realize your time is over! This is no longer the Big Texans' time. That was the past. And in wrestling you have to concentrate on the future and the future is now and it starts with the person you're looking at, Showtime Steven James.

So Hawk, before we face off you have to ask yourself one question...do you feel lu.....oh wait, wrong speech. Actually you have to ask yourself if you still got it in you. Do you still have what it takes to hang with Showtime? Because if you ask me, you don't.

So you better get ready Hawk because not only is it time, it's SSHHOOWWTTIIMMMEE BABY!!

Still Some Fight Left In This Old Dog

(Scene opens with "The Big Texan" standing in an empty arena, he looks around and stares into the empty seats.)

Hawk: I used to fill these seats up with thousands of a**es. When my music hit and I stepped out and walked to the ring all you could see in the arena was a whole bunch of fans standing screaming "Longhorn, Longhorn, Longhorn" and throwin up some respect to the man. I'll admit I da*n sure ain't as young as I used to be. But when I first started there were the old dogs who carried this business and then when the time came for the young guns to go, those old dogs held em' back. I was one of those young guns at one time, hard to believe ain't it. I see where all you boys are comin from, you see a guy like myself who's had his turn and may not be the most athletic guy or the quickest guy, I'm no Brett Irvine, hell to be honest with ya I ain't no Steven James. But I am Hawk McDaniel, and that means something to a lot of people, especially me. So Showtime, when we go into that ring I'm gonna show everybody that this old dog has a lil somethin left in the tank.

(He walks around and looks into the middle of the arena where an empty ring is set up.)

Hawk: That was my home for alotta years, I've lived, ate, slept, sweat, and bled this business for 15 years. I've heard for the last two years that it's time to hang em up, but everytime I start to, I can't. I see myself standing in the middle of the ring again holding up the Southwestern Regional Championship, the first belt I ever won, and I say Hawk you can be there again. You may not be as young as the new stars but yer one helluva veteran, and if anybody cna do it, I can.

(He looks down at his cowboy boots.)

Hawk: I may not wear a suit and tie, or dress the best, my ring attire may be a lil old, but I've got a few good runs left in me. So this goes out to Showtime and everyone else, I'm ready to be what I was, I'm ready to be the man.

(He walks out of the arena as the camera pans around the empty arena.)

The Legend of the Longhorn now continues...........

Lets Steal the Show

Fade in to Showtime Steven James standing in the middle of the ring looking around. He stares at the middle of the ring for a while, smiles, and then starts.

You'll have to excuse me Hawk for performing a promo from the very spot that you conducted yours. Please understand that this is in no way to disrespect you because you see before every match that i have i always come to the ring and think about what's about to happen. Like the deafening quietness before a thunderstorm this arean is dead silent and all i do is stand off to the side and picture the match that is about to occur. Now, you're probably wondering what it is i'm seeing so i'll tell you.

I see a hell of a match Hawk. I see me, Showtime Steven James, trying to prove to the world that i am the present and future of wrestling by unseating the legend. And then i see you, the legend, trying to prove that you still got what it takes to stay on top of this business and to prove that you're gonna try to take the snot nosed punk to school, old school style. All in all Hawk, i see us stealing the show.

Jobber and that loser Angel Castillo may be the main event, but to me we're the main attraction. I see a match full of emotion and energy. I see the spotlights shining down on us and the crowd coming to it's feet cheering our every move. Some fans cheering for me, and some cheering for you. And during our match i can tell you something that i don't see, and what i don't see is an a$$ in a seat because every single one of the fans will be standing up in unison cheering on their superstar of choice.

Now i know their is one more question that you're wondering and that's who do i see winning. Well that's easy. You see the person i see winning Hawk is simply put...the better man. Who that is? We'll have to wait and see, but i'll tell you this. Lets put it all on the line and lets put on one hell of a show that people will be talking about for years to come, lets show the boys in the back how to wrestle, lets steal the show.

looks around for a few seconds and whispers to himself:

Showtime.
