Downing one for an old comrade

Samantha Buka is seen sitting in a bar. She is dressed in a black leather catsuit and her hair has grown to beyond the shoulder and is currently coloured purple and black.

Sam: Hey barkeep can I get that special shot.

Barkeep: Sure thing Sam but are you sure that is a good thing. This sucker is for special occasions I thought you always said.

Sam: This is a special occasion. We are about to honour the passing of an EUWC superstar of old. Tonight I toast to Chad Dupree.

Takes the shot and downs it.

Sam: This was never supposed to happen. I was never to lace up the boots again. After Jacob's neck injury we were going to go about being regular people. Raise our son to do what was right and become a model citizen. Unfortunatly that letter came to both of us and the dark cloud that came over me made me realize that the right thing to do was to in fact lace up the boots one more time. To enter the EUWC ring and to know that I must give everything I have. To show the world that I am ready to fight for what truly matters in this world. What matters isn't some gold belt, it isn't some winning streak, it's not even the cup that is at the end of all this. What truly matters and is the only thing worth fighting for are the people in our lives. Chad tonight 4 EUWC superstars step in the ring to begin the tournament in your honur. Yonight my friend, win or loose, know we are all fighting for you. Some will come out and talk about winning it all and how that will make them great. Honestly great is the man we are honouring in our fighting. Many would question how fighting could be done to honour someone but Chad loved this business as much, if not more than any of us in the ring tonight. We honour him by showing his what he helped to develop because his mark was left after he retired and it will be left long after his unfortunate death. Chad may you enjoy the show from the best seat in the house. I will not let you down, I will give everything I have and I will personally never forget what you meant to me.

Heres to You

Havoc is just sitting in a regular chair, nothing fancy, wearing a plain black shirt and pants. Despite his ongoing depression, for once he looks just a little bit happy.

"For the the first time since Ultra Brawl, I'm feeling just a little happy. I'm happy because I'm getting the chance to do what I love for a man who I'm sure will appreciate this. I never knew Chad Dupree or any of his characters, unfortunately, so I can't really look back and reminice about the good times. I'm sorry that I missed out on him, but he has a fan in me after watching his matches and seeing a great competitor who loved he did, much like me. I'm putting my own problems on hold for him, so that I can pay tribute to a guy who paved the way for men like me in EUWC. I never knew him personally, but I can still feel pride as I step into the ring to wrestle for him."

Havoc flashes a twinge of a smile.

"And this match isn't about rivalries or my own problems or pride. It's about rememberance and letting Chad know that the sport he loved will continue on. I'm going to put on a hell of a show for him and I hope that it'll be something worthy of Chad and his contribution. Heres to you, Chad."

Havoc gives a little salute to the sky as the scene fades to darkness.
