Sorry for the wait everyone... Episode 2 is now posted and available to read HERE.

Big thanks to Rivera for helping out on the main event. Major apologies for how long you all had to wait on this one... I sorely underestimated my ability to write out an entire card by myself. Definitely going to work on improving that. If anybody has criticism or feedback, in the meantime, you can lay it down here.

Everything was a good read! I enjoyed reading Voss' segment plus all the matches were solid. And not to ruin the ending but that is going to make things interesting!

Hopefully we get more handlers and turn out!

Damn! That was a great read! Everything was solid and well-written, and the ending was a HUGE shock. I DID NOT see that coming. Hopefully, that means you think I'm a worthy contender for the title, and that soon I'll be champion.

Either that or I'm going to be a JTTS... Nah, that can't be it, right?

...

Right?

Why not? It's not nearly as bad as Perfection being champion *rimshot*

Also, can anyone explain Leyenda de Ocho? He goes through a grueling match with Toastie, gets beaten down by 5 guys, and then fights off said guys like it was nothing. John Cena, eat your heart out!

Seriously though, maybe I missed something, someone please care to explain?

Certainly a fair question, though I think "Ocho gets his ass kicked" has been a general recurring theme in IWF :). Got destroyed by the French Foreign Legion last card, attempted a sort of Limit Break but fell short; long fight again but in this card it didn't seem quite as much of "Ocho should be dead right now" as last time. Certainly, the bigger notion is "Ocho continues to fail at reaching his ultimate goals because the heels are willing to be bastards, and he's getting tired of it". I will say, if he ever is fitted for a neckbrace and walks off under his own power while refusing medical treatment, this will have jumped the shark indeed.

A fun card, and great to see Niles get some cool moments in this one. Echoing Mr. Doe, a Niles v. Douglas match will be one where "the real winners are the fans"!

The next step is the same as last one - getting some new blood in the fed! Hopefully some strong RP threads will entice new faces to join in the action.

While I like being in a No. 1 Contender's Match against Douglas, it raises a question: what will we do at Surge? I mean, Witherfold is booked against Toastie and Ocho, and Niles vs Douglas will take place at the show before it. Why the Triple Threat match, especially since there's nothing on the line?

The way I understood it is this next show will feature Douglas v. Niles as well as Title Optional Match(Bragging Rights)- Perfection v. pain GRILLE v. Ocho. They will be both on the same card. Meaning the card coming AFTER you can cash in your shot (given that you beat Douglas).

Oh, yeah... Just checked the "Road to Immortality" thread again, thought Fear was saying Surge II would be where the Triple Threat would take place... I should pay attention to these things. Speaking of Surge, apparently there's gonna be a third title for the IWF:

204 - Surge II
Location: Spokane, WA
Venue: Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena
Notes: First of two supershows on the tour, both titles will be defended, and the third title will be announced.

Wonder what it'll be, maybe tag titles?

It looks like a third singles title. The end of the arc looks to be a unification bout between the holders of all three championship, which will become IWF's premier title (perhaps the Washington State title).

208 - Emerald City Experience 2013
Location: Seattle, WA
Venue: Key Arena
Notes: Second of two supershows, which will either get a primetime spot on ESEN or perhaps PPV, depending on interest. All three reigning champions will compete in a triple-threat main event to unify into one title that represents all of the state of Washington.

Awesome... thank you all for the feedback. Half expected y'all had given up on me at this point. But I'm happy to see an interest in forging ahead.

Adding to our pool of handlers is definitely a priority at this point. I'll do what I can to improve that on my end... and one place I'm going to start is getting the shows out in a more timely fashion. Two ways I'm going to implement that plan is by 1.) Asking for volunteer assistance, and 2.) Doing less volunteering myself in other federations.

You guys have already deduced plans from here on out, but I'll confirm it here... yes, next show (to be titled Tri-Cities Triple Threat) is going to include the non-title three-way for the main event, as well as Douglas vs. Niles to determine the No. 1 Contender to the Emerald City Title. This is the last show before the super-event Surge II. Whoever doesn't come out of TCTT the no. 1 contender will probably be given future consideration for the end-of-season PPV, Emerald City Experience '13.

I had a plan in mind for the third title, but with the roster being as small as it is, I may reconsider bringing that into the mix. It would seem out of place having three belts among five or six handlers. Of course, if we could get more handlers in over the next few shows, that wouldn't be as big of a deal.

Idea for next show... should we just have an open RP thread? That way, anybody outside the fed could hop in at any point should they so choose. Just a thought, but I'm also open to more brainstorming.

By "open RP thread" you mean like the one for Chain Reaction 9, right? Cause if so, sounds like a great idea! But if possible, put up the thread quickly, cause I already have my RP ready. Actually, I had it ready once I finished reading Episode 2. Who knew getting thrusted into a match for the EC title could inspire someone so much? ;)

Okay, line-up and thread(s) for Episode 3 will probably go up tomorrow once I get everything ready.

Breezed the card, glad to see its up ... and the forums looking a little more lively. Just dropping a note to denote the fact that I'm alive ... sort of.

Big show Saturday night, after that I'll have a chance to sit down and actually read the card in it's entirety and give my two cents.
