("Living By The Rules" hits the speakers and Sean Taylor walks into the arena at an EUWC house show. He is wearing the EUWC International Title around his waist and carries the EUWC Rulebook in his hand. He slides into the ring and takes the mic.)

Sean:
Ladies and gentlemen! Today is September 16, 2004 and I think we all know what that means. Today is the official day that I break my own record. Today is Day 97 of my International Title reign. Today I stand before you solidified as the Undisputed Greatest International Champion in the History of the EUWC. To celebrate today's outstanding achievement, I have decided to allow each and every one of you fans in this arena tonight to photograph me. But just wait one minute. Fred! Release it!

(Confetti and baloons start to fall from the rafters. A rolled up banner is lowered and then unfurls. The banner reads "Longest International Title Reign: 97 Days!")

Sean: Ok. I will now pose for everyone and you can take your pictures. Remember to hang on to the pictures because one day you will want to tell your grandchildren that you were a part of EUWC history. When they see the pictures that you take tonight, they will swell up with as much happiness and glee that you feel right now.

(Sean poses as hundreds of flashes go off. He slowly turns as does the banner so that each side of the ring can take pictires.)

Sean:
That was fun. However, I wish that tonight's celebration could exist without business but there seems to be something that I need to address. It was brought to my attention that someone has stepped up and challenged me to an International Title match. Damien Dante Stone thinks that he can end my title reign. He thinks that I need a "six-class wake up call". Wake up from what? A dream? A dream that I defeated Lynch Garrison for the EUWC International Title? A dream that I successfully defended the title for 97 days thus breaking my own record? A dream where I have defeated guys from the likes of Jordan Styles to the likes of Lord Alucard? I think you need to wake up, DDS. Wake up and take a good look around. It's not a dream. It's real. More real than you could ever believe. This is the only reality. Why doesn't yours match up?

As for your challenge, I assume that when you said you wanted a shot at the IC Title, you meant the International Title. Beacuse it would be very embarrassing if you were to challenge for a title and not even know what it was called. But nevermind that. You did make some good points. You never did utilize your rematch clause from Summer Sizzler 2003. You have "beaten me down" as well as partners of mine in the past. Let me tell you what being the EUWC International Champion brings as far as responsibilities.

I am responsible for bringing and continuing to bring prestiage to this title. I am responsible for being the man to entertain the fans. I am responsible for making sure that this title is not made into a joke by keeping the lack luster superstars out of the title hunt. I do this by facing worthy opponents in exciting matches. Facing you for the EUWC International Title would cause me to fully live up my responsibilities. And so I must give you the answer to your challenge.

(Pause as he looks into the cheering crowds.)

Sean:
No. Now don't think that I am just backing down from a challenge because, DDS, I would love to face you in the ring. I mean think about it. The former EUWC World Heavyweight Champion versus the Undisputed Greatest International Champion in the History of the EUWC. The match would be legendary. But alas, I cannot allow it to happen. Why? Because you are a great guy and I would just feel terrible about embarassing you in the middle of this ring.

You lost to me at Summer Sizzler 2003 in the House of Horrors match. Your own match! That was tough for me to walk away from. Our past feuds got so heated that I unintentionally hit your wife in the head with my rulebook. Stone, that really hurt my sensitive side. Lastly, you just suffered a defeat at the hands of Holocaust for the EUWC World Heavyweight Title at Ultra Brawl VI. Watching you walk away from the ring after losing two matches for two major titles would just be too much for me to bear.

But since I am a fighting champion, I will give you an opportunity to get your shot. According to the EUWC Rulebook, chapter 6, page 7, paragraph 6, sub-paragraph 5 states and I quote, "A champion, if challenged, may excerise the right to determine an act that would, upon successful completion by said challenger, earn said challenger a title shot."

So here's the deal. If you promise, with hand on heart, that you will not cry after losing your title shot to me, then I will grant you your match at the next Main Frame in two weeks. There it is, DDS. That's all you have to do to get your shot. It's funny. You lost to me in the House of Horrors match where there were no rules and now you challenge me to a regular match where all the rules in the EUWC Rulebook applies. I guess you have to learn what everybody else has. That the rules can only work for one of us.

(Sean drops the mic and holds the belt high. "Living By The Rules" hits the speakers and Sean Taylor makes his exit.)
