Lets Make it 2 in a Row

Fade in to Showtime standing on a deck over looking a beach. The beach is empty. On the lifeguard chair you see a sign that says "Thanks for a great summer, see you next year!" The camera cuts back to Showtime, he looks at the camera and begins.

You'll have to excuse the extravigant setting for this promo, but for someone who's grown up in the Ocean State it's difficult to pull myself away from the beach. Especially now that summer is pretty much over and the cold weather should be coming back soon.

Now onto business. First i would like to address Hawk who i pinned for the 1 2 3. Hawk, i've got to admit, you put up one hell of a fight. If you noticed, i said that i pinned you, because i sure as hell didn't defeat you. It could have gone either way and i believe we did what we set out to do and that's steal the show. So, now i can honestly say that maybe you're not the future anymore, but i think you'll do fine in the present. chuckles while rubbing his chin where Hawk layed a few punches into him. Also, i would like to give props to Brett Irvine for coming down and helping me clear house with our little friends called chairs. And let me just add...it felt damn good to lace into that bottom dweller Castillo.

Now onto my next opponent Redemption. Redemption i've seen some of your promos and although i still don't know a whole hell of a lot about you there's one thing i that i do know. You like to fight. And not only that but you like to fight a match and then find out who is the better man. I like that. I like getting in that ring and seeing who is better on that day, who has the greatest skill, and who has the best ability. Now i understand that you've got this "gotta keep my past secret" thing going for you and i get that and respect that. As a matter of fact i don't care, unless you pissed off the mafia and they're gonna whack you in the middle of our match it doesn't affect me because that was then, and this is now. All i care about is what you can do in the ring.

And when that spotlight hits, and the crowd rises to their feet you will know that it's SSHHOOWWTIIMMEE BABY!! LIGHTS. CAMERA. ACTION.

As I Walk These Halls

Fade in to Showtime Steven James walking through an empty hall way. Everything is quiet except the sound of his feet hitting the floor. The camera follows him from the right side. Showtime stops, and looks to his left. The camera zooms in to show the entrance to the ring. Also, in the background you see the ring, empty as is the rest of the arena. The camera zooms back to show Showtime, he looks at the camera and begins.

You know in less than 24 hours i will walk down these halls while getting into my zone. And as i come to this curtain i will stop and pray for my well being while waiting for my music. Then, when my music hits i will walk through that curtain and the spotlight will hit me as only a spotlight can and the crowd will rise to their feet cheering for they know that they are looking at Showtime Steven James and they know that they are in for one heck of a show. Redemption i hope you're ready for a battle because that is exactly what you're going to be in. We will go toe to toe, man to man, mono a mono. But make no mistake about it Redemption, you will not be the victor on that day. I understand that you've got something to prove but not on that day...and CERTAINLY not on my watch! It took 3 men to beat me because Castillo couldn't do it by himself. Hawk tried doing it by himself and look what happened! He got pinned to the mat, 1,2...3.

So here it is Redemption, it's go time, it's time to see who the better man is...however, i'm sorry to tell you...it's me.

Looks at the ring

Showime.
