No ... it won't ...

Do you forget about Baltimore / NY Giants?

Denver / Atlanta?

San Fran / San Diego??

Those all will have been far lower rated than Pats / Panthers ....

because everyone loves the Patriots and will be tuning in. :)

In all honesty I think this is going to be an awesome game. I would of rather seen Colts VS Panthers, but lets see what New England can do against the Panthers. The Panthers have been pretty impressive as of late. If anyone is a Panthers fan, my friend Brad runs a good fan site. Might want to check it out http://pantherfreaks.com/

I hear they're trying to set up a game between whoever wins the SuperBowl and the now-Joe Gibbs-run Washington Redskins. It'll be called the Gibbs Bowl.

All would've been decent, but were blowouts.

Like the Gints could hang with my Ray Ray and murder inc. ;)

so many forget...

My favorite Superbowl of recent years (besides Rams vs. Titans), has to be Steelers vs. Cowboys in XXX. I mean, come on now... a freaking rivalry, IN THE SUPERBOWL. That's quality.

Go Steelers... we'll get 'em next year.

My thoughs

Personally I wanted to see Patriots vs Eagles but thanks to those stupid Panthers, I will just have to look forward in seeing Panthers get their butt kicked by the Patriots.

The REAL football season ended already anyway... the Trojans are your champs.

Ok, don't get me started on the BCS disaster. :)

LSU is your true National Champ.

I hope the Patriots die on their way to the Superbowl.

I hope their bus blows up on the trip there.

And I hope that bastard referee who screwed over the Colts on twenty or so calls, yet couldn't give us the common decency of allowing a fumble to go into Indianapolis' possession, to be on that bus.

I hope it drives off of a cliff... into shark infested waters. And I hope the sharks eat all of the players. But I hope that they don't die, in spite of being chewed up in the feeding frenzy. I think the evil Marsian empire, quietly plotting to take over this world, should burn them all with their death ray. I'm sure the Marsians should have no trouble locating them on their scanners; they have an ally in George W. Bush, after all.

THEN I hope the bus blows up.

Glad to see I am not the only Steeler fan posting. We may of sucked this year, but hopefully things turn out good. As far as the Super Bowl against the Cowboys, all I can say is it was a fluke. Neil O'Donnel was paid off not questions asked.

the COLTS?

Please... they had no chance. Its not our fault that you guys choked :)

And as for the overturned ruling about the supposed fumble, well .. Our man's knee was clearly down ... so if they ruled in favor of the Colts, then you woulda been seeing mayhem all over the place.. and the ref would need to be escorted out of Gillette Stadium in a gurney :)

I agree with the person that said LSU are the true champs, but I disagree with the BCS being a disaster. FACT: Okie and LSU each had also lost one game, just like USC, but USC lost to UNRANKED California earlier in the season.

Also, USC beating the Wolverines was a fluke. They paid harlots to keep U of M's players up all night. I know they did it. They had to have. Honestly, I was upset with Michigan's play-calling. They never really took the time to establish the run, and that's what you need to do.

I'm beside myself that the Eagles beat the Packers and somehow lost to Carolina, but I'll bet Alan Thompson is happy.

Best Superbowl ever was 49ers vs. Bengals: Joe Montana vs. Boomer Esiason. How about people calling Tom Brady the next Joe Montana? I think that's a little premature.

I'd say the BCS is a project that wasn't all planned out before it was put into motion. Most of the BCS years have been swamped in controversy, so I can't really side with it. I'm not a huge College Football person, but I would say that a Playoff system of some sort needs to be incorporated. Top four teams, let's say, with anyone who is debatably ranked fifth -- if anyone is in a given year -- having a one-game Playoff to determine who gets the final spot. Then you go with that and determine a Champion. It works for NCAA Basketball.

As for the Super Bowl, I wanted to see Patriots-Packers. But I think this is going to be a great defensive game. If people don't watch it, well, they'll be missing out on quite possibly the best Super Bowl since Rams-Titans.

My pick is with the Patriots.
