Hey all,

Upon discussion with Scott, it is appearing that the GLCW is going away. I have offered repeatedly to take the league over myself, but Scott has continually denied. So therefore, I am proposing a new league be formed. I'm even willing to keep the same champions, same storylines, etc. We could even do a WWF/E thing and rename it GLW. (Great Lakes Wrestling) Or we could just completely start a new league. The format would be the same but the cardwriting style would probably be more NFW-ish, with only PPVs being long form.

Right now, nothing is set in tone, if Scott is willing, I would love to keep GLCW going. But right now, that seems to be impossible. Let me know what you all think.

Didn't Scott post not long ago about how he's moving in and it might take a bit of time? And didn't he say that I was needing to hand in my half of the Riptide results? Or did you just not hear it.

I will be submitting my share, shortly, and I won't see you going about making such suggestions when Scott already explained the situation pretty clearly.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Oct-07-03 AT 04:23 PM (EST)]Getting one thing very clear right now......

I am NOT, I repeat, NOT trying to take the GLCW away from Scott. If I had my wish, the status quo would remain. Scott has done a great job with the league, and I enjoy the league immensely. But the term that was given to me privately was "indefinite hiatus," when describing the GLCW's current situation. It has been my experience in the past that this tends not to work, and this is too great a league to let it die. I have offered to take over the league on an interim basis until Scott has the motivation to return, and that was denied. I'm just seeking out information to keep this going, trying to get an idea of the public opinion. If no one is interested and if everyone wants to "wait it out" on the chance the league will start up again, then that is fine with me.

As far as Riptide, it's been over a month with no update from the second cardwriter. That leads inevitably to concern. It's no one 's fault, but it is just how it is.
