Montgomery and the Yankees

1) Given his testimony that he used HGH, a year from now will Tim Montgomery's World Record of 9.78 in the 100m dash still be on the books?

2) Will the Yankees get Randy Johnson, and if so, should Selig allow it?

I'm not a Yankees fan by any means, but I'll give them props and say their 4 titles in the last ten years were by large home grown. Hardly 'bought' titles.

But beginning with Mussina, the level of big name talent going to New York is getting out of hand.

I can stomach A-Rod because Boston blew their chances to get him. But at this point...adding Randy Johnson..would be too much.

Do they even have anything worth trading for?

From what I've read/heard/understand, Randy wants to go to Boston because Curt is there. With Lowe gone after this season (Praise Jesus!), there'll be a spot open in the pitching rotation. He might go to Anaheim though.

I will weep if he goes to the Yankees. I will also weep if one of my close friends from high school is drafted by the Yankees because then I'll feel obligated to wear his jersey and then you jackals will never let me hear the end of it!

From what I understand Randy may head up to Boston or over to Anaheim or has even considered Detroit, being that Randy makes his home in Michigan.

Johnson said he ain't goin anywhere, but you never know. I still don't think he'll go to the Yankees, but if he does, I will vomit.

Brian Fuentes.

Words out that Colorado may ship Relief Pitcher Brian Fuentes, who's on the DL at the moment, but as soon as he rehabs, may be going to the Yanks.

That...in effect...WILL cause me to vomit, because he's a hometown boy, straight up outta the hood, from Merced.
