It's been an interesting week for Major Championship Wrestling. The MCW World Title chase has continued to get more competitive while an announcement regarding the North American Title is being worked out. Backstage, there is plenty of moving and shaking as the booking committee works hard to make MCW competitive with some of the larger wrestling federations. Stick with us, folks, because MCW is going to be the wrestling organization to talk about for years to come.

With that, it's time to bring you some news.

Stepping Aside.
After being disqualified from the World Title chase, Adam Benjamin has decided to take a step back in MCW to give his younger cousin, "First Class" Chandler Maxwell time to shine. Former MCW owner Christian Sands played a joke on Benjamin at last week's Center Stage that made Adam's decision final.

Jalen Latham, the new owner/chairman has come to terms with Adam Benjamin on his release from Major Championship Wrestling. When asked about his future plans, Adam Benjamin stated that the fans should "never say never". Benjamin made it clear that if the real Karl Brown stepped up for a match, he would without question step back into an MCW ring.

Jalen Latham was later approached for comment, and said that he would love to have Benjamin compete in the near future in a special match as a sort of farewell. No clarification could be made as to whether Mr. Latham had something in mind, though.

You can still find Adam Benjamin in his cousin's corner at this week's Center Stage 3.

New Talent.
As some people have already noticed, MCW is on a recruiting rampage. We're trying to find the absolute best talent in the wrestling world that has not been given the proper opportunity to let their starpower shine in other federations. That being said, Major Championship Wrestling is proud to announce the signings of two very talented athletes.

"Phenomenal" Frankie Scott comes to MCW with the intention of becoming the marquee player in this organization. When approached for comment, the Phenomenal One remained tight lipped about specific future plans, but you can bet money that he has a championship belt in mind.

Also signed is the one and only Dakota Smith. Son of the legendary Nevada Smith, this ruthless competitor will no doubt cause havok in MCW. A promotional video is in the works to properly debut this young wrestler.

More talent has shown great interest in joining the MCW team. It's safe to say that the lead in to next month's Pay-Per-View will be something to talk about around the water cooler!

The Pay-Per-View.
On the topic of next month's PPV, Major Championship Wrestling is proud to announce that the inaugural even will be called "Zero Hour". MCW's Booking Committee explained that the PPV will indeed be a Zero Hour of sorts as it will represent the crowning of the World Champion and will be start point of the future of MCW.

So far, the only match signed for MCW Zero Hour is the MCW World Heavyweight Championship Match where the top two scorers from the World Title chase will compete for the belt in the Main Event.

More will be signed in the near future. Stay tuned!

As Time Goes By.
And that does it for this edition of the MCW Newsroom. Keep us on your radar!
