RP is over, so a big thank you to everyone who put in the work over the last week and a half.
One handler in the tourney posted a roleplay despite a very serious medical issue, and for that I'm very thankful. In fact, I got a message from him while he was still in a hospital bed to let me know what was going on. Unfortunately for the rest of you, that raises the bar on what I expect out of grown ass handlers giving me the courtesy of some basic fucking respect.
Some of you didn't post and didn't think it was worth it to let me know you had any difficulties with getting a roleplay up within the extended 12 day roleplay period. To you, I say, next time don't waste my time. It takes less than five minutes to send a private message on the forums to let me know you won't be able to get something up, so do not insult my intelligence with any other excuses. I can see when you're on the forums, people. Yes, even if you checked the little box to make you invisible. Nothing is invisible to admins, so keep that in mind.
Don't take this rant as a prompt for you to come here and give me your sob story. If I've seen you around the forums, you had every opportunity to communicate any issues you had, so I don't wanna hear it. If you've had computer issues, been stuck under an avalanche or in an elevator for the last two weeks, send me a private message and we'll discuss it. If you signed up from outside the fed and didn't show up, do me a favor next time and don't sign up at all. I've run this tournament with as little as 8 teams in the past, and I'm perfectly fine with running it with 8 again, if it's 8 teams of handlers who give a damn. This is not the Ultratitle and I won't be coddling you all and walking on eggshells around your feelings. I don't give a rat's ass if this upsets you or not. I expect you to act like grownups. If you can't, I want nothing to do with you.
I'm gonna do some shuffling of individuals in the Lethal Lottery group who got a bum partner. Particularly, Voss got a partner and opponents who didn't bother to write. I'll be speaking with him privately, but I don't see why he should have to move on with someone who doesn't give a shit.
I'll be booking the shows tonight and tomorrow and get the matchwriting started ASAP.
More updates to come.
