Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that my Baci (Polish for grandmother) died early Tuesday morning from cancer.

She was diagnosed about a year ago and deteorated fairly quickly the past month. My cousin called me at 12:45am Tuesday morning and told me that my whole family was at her house because the nurse had given her a few hours to live ... by the time I got there at 1 she had already passed.

This shouldn't delay the card, however, but I just wanted to let you guys know in case I'm not around online. It's tough because we never expected her to go, even though it had gotten really bad the past month.
