jOlt Wrestling has learned of the injury status of, now, former World Heavyweight Champion, "The Anti-Star" Jesse Ramey. After suffering a brutal attack at the hands of "jOlt's Last Real Man" Jeremy Ryan, Jesse Ramey will be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

When jOlt Wrestling asked his doctors about a time frame, they simply responded with "Every person heals at a different rate. Mr. Ramey suffered a cracked rib as a result of the lead pipe he took to his side. He suffered a second break in that same rib when he was kicked down the stairs to the point where that rib was simply "floating" inside his body and it required immediate surgery in order to fix. We also found him to have suffered a concussion as a result of falling down the stairwell."

The doctor then continued.. "These injuries require time to heal. Right now, Mr. Ramey is still in Intensive Care and is in post-surgery recovery, but he is stable. He will probably be moved to a private room within the next day or so as his condition is improving enough where Intensive Care isn't needed."

jOlt Wrestling's CEO and Owner, Damien Lee, had the following to say:

"Jesse Ramey has been a remarkable champion for us. It was with a heavy, aching heart, that I had to make the decision that I did. When the EMTs took him away and notified me of their best guess as to what he suffered, I knew Jesse wasn't going to be back. My hands became tied and I made an unpopular decision that has come back to haunt me. That is one of the follies of being the owner of a company, sometimes the decisions you make blow up in your face and this is one of those times where it has."

Lee on Jeremy Ryan as Champion:

"It is what it is right now. There is no doubt that Jeremy Ryan is a hard worker who made his way up from The Hype and became jOlt's first Hype Graduate to become World Champion, but his methods are not favorable by any means and his actions are deplorable and intolerable on several levels. If Ryan thinks that his actions on Sunday will go unpunished, then I'm afraid he's mistaken. Now that we have a clear world champion, my hands are no longer tied. Jeremy Ryan will learn just who the boss is around here. The very brace on my neck will serve as a nice reminder of that."
