(A clapping sound can be heard as the camera pans around the well-furnished room. The camera finally sees Evol lounging in a chair, drinking wine and smoking a cigar.)

Evol: Well, well, well. What do we have here? Did I hear correctly? Did I hear that Holocaust and I are going to team up? Dare I say it? Could all of my hopes and dreams come true? Am I tired of asking all of the stupid questions in a meldramatic voice?

Evol: Yes, yes I am. The fact of the matter is this. The problem with Holocaust was totally one-sided. He acted as the boss and I acted as a disgruntled employee. I hated my brother for dragging me here to this league. And I don't deal with anger very well. My brother was apart of the Dominion, which I resented. Who lead the Dominion? Holocaust did. Who became the sole focus of my anger? Holocaust did. He was the center of power for the team and soon enough, the league. Of course I would become jealous of that. I never played the part of lackey very well. Never knew how to follow, only to plan ahead. Probably explains why I had so few friends growing up.

Evol: Whatever the case may be, that is over with. I have come to terms with my anger and realized that Holocaust has nothing to do with it. My brother is no longer in the league. He was the cause of my rage. So much wasted energy on Holocaust. Now he and I must face down Paul Doom and Lord Alucard. How did I find myself in this situation? Weird, huh?

Evol: What better way to say I’m sorry, not an easy act for me, than to try and help out my former teammate and see if we can’t do some serious damage. The match ended in a count-out. Couldn’t be helped. Ah well. Doom, it was nothing against you, of course. You are one of the best in the league. Why would I try and start something with you? I believe the term for you is wrong place at the wrong time. It would have happened the exact same way if Holocaust were facing someone else. But to have the might Lord Alucard come down and help you out, damn if I wasn’t surprised. I am still feeling the bruises from that night.

Evol: So back to our little tag match. This is a match I could only wish for. Teaming up with the Holocaust against two other legends of the league. Wow, I mean seriously, wow. Matches like that do not come along very often. I truly feel fortunate to be in it. Heck, I’d be happy watching the damn thing from the sidelines. Well, the proverbial coach has called me in. Here I am. Ready to fight and ready to win. I don’t know about my tag team partner but I guess we will have to wait and see. I just get this funny feeling that he will be asking a whole lot of questions. Why did I decide to help him? Wish I had that answer, my good Holocaust.

Evol: Oh, and one last thing. I recently finished a book about Julius Caesar and the betrayal that he suffered. Fascinating stuff, really. The whole idea of a wolf in sheep’s clothing so to speak. Well, I guess we will have to wait until the match to find out.

[The scene opens up with Doom covered by shadow. Light streaks from his shoulder to his leg. The head is all black.]

Paul Doom:

So, it comes down to this.

[Images of last week's cage match between Holocaust and Doom flash over the screen]

Paul Doom:

A tag match to settle it all. To declare the true victor in this feud.

[Light shines through the windows. Doom's face is now visible]

Paul Doom:

For several months now, Holocaust, you and me have been at odds. You injured me not once, but twice. You stole my dignity. You not only stole it from me, but you tore it to shreds as you drove me through the cage all those months ago when you had this supposed powers. These powers, which you felt, would never leave you. And now here you stand, a forgotten soul. One that no longer has the ability to achieve the greatness it once had. You once mentioned that you would never, ever fall from the mountain, the ladder of success. Despite my warnings, you were. And by the same person that gave you the warnings. Me. Holocaust, what happened last week in the cage was what happens when you step in the ring with an, as you so elequently put it, "old, washed up wrestler". I took your bad ass persona and shoved it down your throat as I not only made you tap out, but had you beaten fair and square in the middle of the ring. You were almost no challenge to me. You see, when you step into a cage with me, you are stepping into my house. Do not think, that for one second, I will lose, if I do, to anyone there without a challenge and without dishing out my share of pain. And that night, that one night, was 15 minutes of the worst pain you would have ever felt.

[Doom stands up]

Paul Doom:

To hear your hand beat against the mat repeatedly was music to my ears as I reared back with the sharpshooter, you had no choice but to tap out. And then, with the ref distracted, not to get the win then and there, only served to make me more angry. To hit you, dead centre with the Doomstone, knowing I had the match won, made me happy. It calmed the savage beast. Only to have that taken away from me aswell. Regardless, everybody knew I had that match won and had it not been for another wrestler, I would have proved it. But I had my word, which I give very rarely, broken by the one named Evol.

[Doom clenches his fists]

Paul Doom:

In that match, Evol, you served as nothing more then a nuisance. You and your constant interfering cost me the match. Something which I had so long urged for. Something I had prepared months for was taken away by you in a matter of minutes. No matter what I did, you came in, like a fly, and proceeded to annoy me to fulfil your desires. Hell, even driving you through the cage only cost me the match resulting in a draw. Do you know how angry that makes me feel? Do you have any idea at all what it is I am feeling? Do you have ANY IDEA what I want to do to you right now?

[Doom becomes infuriated. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He opens them again, calm]

Paul Doom:

Costing me my match, was one thing, Evol. But by saying that it would have been anyone is a pathetic attempt at trying to justify your actions. You call this match a "dream match" so to speak and luckily, you are part of it. But no matter what you have said, no matter how hard you try to justify what you did, I will seek bloody retribution for your actions, Evol. And for that, you can mark my words....I will seek retribution

[Doom stares into the camera with the look of fire in his eyes as the scene fades to black]

A Lucky Shot

Holocaust sits inside an empty ring surrounded by an empty cage. He looks at the steel mesh surrounding him and grimaces, recalling the brutal affair last week. Holocaust touches his forehead with a gloved hand, as if he's revisiting old wounds. Holocaust drops his hand from his head, pulling his glasses off in the process. Holocaust has his eyes closed and breathes long and deep breaths. After what seems like an eternity, Holocaust's eyes snap open, revealing his fiery eyes.

"Doom is right, you know. I have hounded him for months, crushed his pride, stomped his dignity, set his soul afire. For all intents and purposes, I deserve the beating I received."

Holocaust chuckles.

"But now my payment is complete. I allowed Doom to gain the upper hand, believe it or not. I allowed him to repay me for all the damage I had done. But now that my debt is paid, well, it's my turn. My turn to take Doom and his righteous fury and put him through Hell once more. Say what you will about the supposed outcome of that match, but the fact remains that you didn't beat me. You failed. You had your chance to finish me and you couldn't do it. And I was holding back. Just think of the torment you will face when I let you feel my unchained wrath, a hatred that has been building since that moment when you cost my my legacy. You will pay dearly for that single moment."

Holocaust gets up from the chair and looks though the chain link to the empty seats. He runs his hand over the steel wall separating him from the outside.

"NEVER presume to tell me about the ladder of success. I still reign and you have yet to prove otherwise. Like I said, you couldn't beat me. What, you though I wouldn't have kicked out of that Doomstone? Rubbish. Had I truly wanted to beat you then and there, I would have. Now listen closely...I remain the most formidable force in EUWC. That is a fact. I have yet to reveal my full potential to the world and I have yet to reach the everlasting peak of my existence. But you, Doom...you are past your peak. You are on a downward spiral, whether you realize it or not. Me...I'm just getting started. So don't assume that you will be the end of me. If anything, you are merely going to be a stepping stone back to the top. What happened to you, Doom? You used to be a World title contender, a man people would fear to face. Nowadays, you are simply an obstacle...one that will be bypassed soon enough. And as for your friend Alucard, well, I would rather speak to him face to face."

Holocaust smiles as the scene fades to darkness.
