Happy B-Day EUWC Prez

EUWC President and owner, Matt Pickstock has a birthday today (Oct 1, 2004). This post comes with a story.

This past Monday, I was watching Raw at Matt's place and his wife asked me if I was busy Friday or Saturday. I said I was thinking that our good friend was coming home this weekend. Nothing else was said. Later in the night, his wife brought up his birthday and I suddenly realized that she was asking me about the weekend because of Matt's B-day and not of the reason I was thinking.

If that wasn't bad enough, today I called their place from work checking to see if anything was planned for tonight. She said no because they weren't feeling well and we would prolly get together tomorrow (Saturday). I said "Ok" and that I had to go. She asked if I wanted to speak to Matt and I couldn't think of a reason to since she had already answered the question I had originally called about. She asked me if I was sure and I said yes. I hung up and as soon as I did, I realized that she was offering me a chance to wish Matt a Happy Birthday while I was one the phone. Man, I can be dense sometimes.

So, anyway, to make up for it, I want to wish Matt a Happy Birthday here and share an embarrasing story as penance.

Birthdays are always fun. The worst is when your friends take you out to a restaurant and have the people there do their little "Happy Birthday" meddly. I will spare you the embarassment of that and wish you a fun birthday.
