As much as I love the Colts, I'd have to say the Steelers are going all the way.

And I could care less what happpens in the NFC.

You're all screwy....unless one of the starters gets majorly hurt....

I see it as: Colts v. Rams, with Peyton finally getting what hes been deserving-- a ring.

Sorry, but we are never gonna win a Super Bowl with Cowher as our head coach. He suffers the from the Curse Of Marty Shottenheimer.

Cowher learned everything he knows about coaching from him and it shows. Both have phenomenal win-loss records over the course of their careers in regular season, and neither can win in the play-offs to save his life.

Steelers will likely win this week against the Jets but will lose next week to the Colts. Sorry.

Vikings at Eagles:

Normally I'd take the Vikings on this one, especially with TO out. But the fact remains that McNabb is as good a QB as there is in the NFC, and they won't be playing in the Metrodome. I'll take the Eagles, but it's gonna be damned close, I think.

Rams at Falcons:

This is another tough one. Bulger's peaking at the right time, but can anyone stop Vick from rushing for 100+ and throw a TD or two? Probably not. The Falcons D is good, too, so I'll take the Falcons in another close one.

Colts at Pats:

This right here is the Super Bowl as far as I'm concerned, and I think that even though Belicheck is a genius, his tattered secondary won't be able to stop Peyton Manning's nonstop onslaught of passing. New England keeps it close, but Manning just can't be stopped.

Jets at Steelers:

The Jets just aren't that good. Sorry. I'll take the Steelers.

Falcons at Eagles:

I'll take the Falcons in this one. The Eagles just won't have any answer to Vick, and unlike the Vikings, the Falcons aren't a choke artist team. I think their D brings them this far.

Colts at Steelers:

You just don't win Super Bowls with rookie QB's not named Marino. Sorry. Manning is unstoppable. Colts win big.

Falcons vs. Colts:

Colts finally manage to win the Super Bowl in this one. The only team I see stopping them is the Patriots, and if they had their standard secondary, this would be a much, much closer game. Sadly, after that, nobody is gonna stop Manning and his onslaught of weapons. But hey -- at least we'll get an exciting Super Bowl for the first time in awhile. :)

Final Score: Colts 42, Falcons 24

Should the Eagles and Falcons meet next week, everyone should remember that the Eagles are one of the few teams that is uniquely capable of containing a mobile QB such as Vick. Jim Johnson uses a variety of blitz techniques, as well as using Jevon Kearse, Michael Lewis, Mark Simoneau, or Brian Dawkins as a spy on Vick to force him to throw the ball against an All-Pro secondary.

They'll put Kearse as a "Joker" on Vick... they used that strategy to a good amount of success on Culpepper Week 2.

Kearse is truly a freak. I think he was a more important acquisition this offseason than TO was for us.

i'd just like everyone to note that the people who said the steelers weren't going to make it to the super bowl were also the ones sayin' peyton manning was leading the colts to beat the sh*t out of the patriots.

where ya' at now b*tches?

f*ck the colts... just like I always said =D

Ummm, you missed the POINT of my post. The Steelers could be playing ANYBODY this week and would probably lose.

The fact that the colts lost to the Patriots doesn't change WHY we continually lose these games.

Cowher has two flaws tied into one. NOT ONLY does he continually assume that he never needs to adjust things from one team to another (or from regular season to playoffs) but ALSO assumes that NO OTHER team will make adjustments either.

This is the SAME man last season, after getting picked apart by a bench warmer (now starter) in the playoffs and getting picked apart by that SAME team months later at the beginning of the regular season had the nerve to say, upon losing to the Raiders "I didn't think they'd throw on us because they ran the ball so effectively the week before."

They squeaked into this game by barely beating a team they handily beat before. The Patriots are a MUCH better team than the Jets.

CAN the Steelers win this game? Sure. They have enough talent. But Big Ben hasn't exactly set the world on fire in his last several games. And beating the Jets simply follows form for Cowher. The Steelrs, under him, have always done well following the bye week. But, they're still 1-3 in AFC Championship games.

But, hey, the fact that they're 1-3 and not 0-4 proves that acorn thing is true, I suppose :p

I would just like to say that just like Bret in '97, Peyton was screwed.

Now, don't get me wrong...the Pats are a great football team....but waiting until the very last minute to cover the field with tarp to shelter it from the snow/rain weather to gain an advantage....

Well that's just straight up chickensh*t.

Just my two cents.

BTW.....Your updated pick from yours truly:

Superbowl

Falcons v. Steelers

WINNER: Steelers.

The Pats certainly had a home-field advantage. More importantly though, they had the better team and wanted it more.

The Colts offensive game plan was horrible.

Peyton had a good game...he threw the ball well.

But when your receivers DROP the ball and the defense can't contain the rush then you're going to lose 9 times out of 10.

And ARE YOU KIDDING ME about the tarp? Seriously Siegel, if you're going to complain about anything, complain about Peyton getting no help from his teammates.

And that's just my two cents.

Can I just say that I love Vanderjagt? "You guys are going to lose because you don't want it bad enough and you're missing two of your key defensive guys."

Hey, maybe when he singlehandedly wins two Superbowls, then maybe he can talk smack, no? :)

HATERS, the LOT of you...having no faith in the Patriots.

Hi Sean! :)

i've been saying it from the beginning...

THE PATRIOTS ARE WINNING THE SUPERBOWL.

There's no team out there that can stop them.

Pittsburgh? PLEASE. Benji's gonna choke. And we have Corey Dillon back in the lineup.

PHILLY? HA! Even if they DID make it to the Superbowl (Which they won't) ... they'd job hardcore.

ATLANTA? I like ATL ... but they're lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

And Siegel ... the tarp? LOL ... like any other team wouldn't have done the same exact thing. They should have been out there practicing every day on a field that's sloppy ... Indianapolis can't keep playing the victim... they had their asses handed to them, plain and simple. It would've happened in Indianapolis, it would've happened in Foxboro, it would've happened in New Orleans.

What pisses ME off is the fact that throughout the whole game the announcers were STILL ON PEYTON's DICK. Jesus Christ ... if I've ever seen media more against the better team ... oh wait ... Yankees / Red Sox .. nevermind.

What people gotta realize ... is that we're the ****. Its that plain and simple.

GO PATS ... but I don't even have to say that, because they'll win anyway. :)
