First thing's first. All has been very hectic, but a lineup will go up VERY soon.

SECONDLY...

Who's up for EPW fantasy football this year? Let me know here if you're interested. I'd like to get the league set up soon. Once I have an idea of who is in, I'll go into the league and edit what I need to edit and so forth. Last year we had more interested than we even had room for, which is good, but this year, I'd like to cap it at a hard 12, so we can have balanced divisions.

Post here and let me know.

Here to job, do an auction league, way better than snake draft.

Auction league is simple, everyone gets a pile of money (100/200 bucks) and then players are named and bid on, high bid wins. Makes it so everyone has a shot at the big name talent instead of the first few picks getting dibs on them.

I'd throw my hat in... but we've done this dance before.

Part One - Strawsma drafts... badly

Part Two - Strawsma loses the first three games

Part Three - Strawsma gets bored with that shit and goes back to WoW or D3 or whatever he's wasting his time with that part of the month

Part Four - Everybody else gets annoyed while his players on the bench rack up points and for some reason he keeps ignoring trade request.

So, knowing that I'd just be the Taco to this League, I'll forego my entry bid, unless you're stuck on 11 and really need somebody.

Excellent.

If you want in the league and you were NOT in the league last year, send me the email you'd like your invite sent to, and I'll get it all set up.

Also, lineup will go up later today.

So can I play it without any understanding of football or how it works. I tried to watch a Superbowl once, all I got from it was I should buy some Doritos.

I doubt you can play it WELL without understanding football or how it works.

On the other hand, it may increase the chances of other people winning, so I doubt anyone would want to keep you out.

I will draft one million Tim Tebows because I heard that's "A Thing"

I'm interested in the league, but I probably won't be able to be at the draft (depending on when you set it up).

So, how would an auction league work if you weren't available to be there? I get snakes, they just pick the best guy or the highest ranked guy on your list... but how do Auctions work? Would I just put my max bid for a bunch of guys in an e-mail, and wind up winning three quarterbacks and no running backs?

But I'll join, have fun, and do what I can without being there for draft day.

Kent Robinson (MIA from the fed, doubt he's back)
Josh Levinson (got a message sent today, waiting for reply)
Edward Burton (got an email sent today, waiting for reply)

Also, the draft is tentatively set for August 25th at 6pm Eastern. That's one week from this Sunday. Please let me know if anyone can't make that date and time.

I'll adjust the date if too many people can't make it.

One last thing -- the current draft order is NOT the official final draft order. That will be randomly selected once I have final confirmation on everyone who is participating.
