There are two men standing in the middle of the DEFIANCE Wrestle-Plex's ring in the main part of the arena.

Eric Dane:
Hi, my name is Eric Dane.

Jeff Andrews:
Hi, my name is Jeff Andrews.

Pause for applause.

Dane:
We used to have a wittier version of this somewhere around, but I think it's on the old site, the one where the boards are bugged, so we can't get to it.

Andrews:
Anyway, note the format of our speech. Our name, bolded, colon. One space, then the speech below it. No quotation marks.

Dane:
Names in Normal Case. Not ALLCAPS. No initials.

Also, notice how the scene descriptions don't have brackets, and that the narrative is in present tense. Unless, of course, you're indicating that the person speaking is doing something as they're talking. Like so...

Dane: [grins evilly]
See? Notice the notation of evil grinning is beside the name. Not underneath.

Suddenly, the overhead lights fall through the ring with a massive...

CRUNCH!

Andrews:
Note that SOUND EFFECTS are done in BOLD ITALICS. Including the ringing of the bell. DING DING for the start of a match and DING DING DING for the end.

For some reason, this elicits wild cheers from the Faithful.

RAHHHHHHH!

Dane:
CROWD NOISES are in NORMAL ITALICS. Don't overuse them. Got it? Good.

Cut to the next area. What area? You can usually figure this out via the run sheet. Worstcase, Cut to Elsewhere.

Re: DEFIANCE formatting guide

Please re-read and re-familiarize yourself with this.

Also, please use sound effects and music lyrics sparingly.

And please, pleasepleaseplease, don't make me write a full "guide" about this.
