DEFCON ARC - PHASE ONE - BOOKING REQUESTS

Alrighty, it's high time we got down to the business of getting the next arc up and running. With that we begin PHASE ONE of making that happen, as such, you will find the full lineup (aka who you will be working with) for the DEFCON event below.

Ideally I want to get this arc actually started by no later than the middle of next month. Which means DEFtv #65 should not only be up and running, but posted by late-ish May with a week or so to spare. That would put us on track to have this next arc done by or around early to mid-July.

So here's what I am going to need from EVERYONE.​

I need you to get together with your partners (and others if necessary) and decide if there are ANY SPECIFIC MATCH REQUESTS you want to make. You are not required to do this, as this is to ensure that any specific matches that you deem important to the build of your match at DEFCON gets booked.

So if you have any handler specific matches you want to request, simply post the request with what specific show you want/need it to take place on in this thread (so everyone knows what's going on).

So for example... Lindsay Troy & Andy Sharp vs Dan Ryan & Mikey Unlikely on DEFtv #68.

ALTERNATIVELY you can simply request your character be booked on specific events and leave it to STAFF to slot you into a match. Then you and your partners can simply work around the matches you are booked in. Whatever works for you, as long as things go smoothly for everyone involved, I'm absolutely fine with it.

An example of this would be if say Evan requested that Bronson Box only be booked for matches on DEFtv #65 and #68. It's as simple as that.

A couple caveats. Sometimes STAFF might be required to dictate the outcome of a match for overarching booking purposes (mainly in the case of championships, building contenders, etc). A word of warning however, if you do not respond to this thread with any match requests, regardless of being handler specific or booked by STAFF, we reserve the right to book your character as much or little as we see fit.

Then it's on to PHASE TWO... So once this PHASE is complete, STAFF will get together and we'll piece together the lineups for DEFtv. Once that's done we'll get the deadlines setup and all four runsheets for DEFtv #65-#68 will be posted on this forum. That's when you are free to begin calling your shots when it comes to segments and where they get placed on the cards.

Fair warning though, those spots are first come, first serve. So if you want to wing it and work show to show, that is absolutely fine by me. Your primary goal as a handler is to drive up interest for your ppv match and make it matter. How you choose to do that is entirely up to you.

On behalf of myself and Seth. Both of these need to be against credible opponents who don't mind taking a loss against two high level characters.

DEFtv #67 - Dusty Griffith vs Anybody - I will need to be a win for Dusty. There will be some interaction by Trinidad here, but not a run in or interference.

DEFtv #68 - Angel Trinidad vs Anybody - Will need to be a win for Angel, however it might be more of a "beating" after the match. There will be a Dusty run in to make the save.

I feel like breaking the four way tag into two tag matches and tossing them in as filler on a couple shows would be solid booking if the rest of the writers involved are down. The promos and segments that spin off those bookings could be really fun.

DEFtv 67 - Need Kerry Kuroyama to take a loss in singles competition, preferably to a member of the previous team.

I would also be down for splitting the fourway tag into two tag pairings, provided it doesn't overstack the card.

That way ACX don't face RCR, PCP don't face SMB, and we still have fresh two on two matches. And we don't flood the thread but we get four tag matches to set up the division this arc.

If people are game, I don't care which shows these go on necessarily.

Then for DEFCON, four way dance? Or four on four elimination? I'd say we save the four way dance for crowning champs maybe, but I'm open to whatever!

I dig this a lot and I'd be game. I would think this would be a great way to crown first Tag Team champions also, but I believe the plan was to wait a bit and I'm cool either way.

UPDATE: I still need volunteers for the following match requests. If I don't get any takers by the time PHASE ONE concludes, somebody is going to be booked into these matches and the handler requesting the match will be responsible for writing it. Remember, these are all opportunities to mix it up with other characters, even if they have nothing to do with what you have going on currently.
