(The scene opens up to GXW Owner Erik Zieba's makeshift office during a recent house show. Buried in paperwork, Mr. Zieba shuffles through the sheets with a serious frown on his face. The more he shuffles ... the worse the frown.)
EZ: Dear Lord. Now he wants to make a request to put security cams in EVERY room during a broadcast? I know my head of security Dave Brunk likes to cover all the bases and be on top of everything, but this is ridiciolous. And for THIS price? He, just like everyone else, is trying to put this company out of business ... I swear ...
(KNOCK KNOCK)
EZ: (WIthout looking up) Come in.
(As the door opens, the images of 'Good God' Kevin Powers and 'The Apocalypse' Gabriel Poe appear on the screen.)
KP: Wut up boss!
EZ: (looks up) Oh great ... it would have to be you two. Go ahead and take a seat.
(As they go to sit down, Powers gets back up and heads towards Zieba's desk.)
KP: Hey Z ... where ya keep the ... ya know ...
(Zieba reaches down with his right hand and a drawer can be heard opening. Seconds later a bottle appears and Zieba puts it on the table.)
EZ: Help yourself.
KP: Not a problem
(Powers goes to sit down as Poe looks on.)
GP: You look rather busy today Erik.
EZ: (continues to shuffle through paperwork) Be happy you two get to have your fun inside of the ring. The REAL pleasure is managing this joint from the outside. Bad enough paying off contracts and such, but it's the LITTLE things that'll kill ya!
GP: Such as?
EZ: Oh renting the arenas, consessions, ticket sales, limo and ambulance cost ... I'm SURE you two know about that.
KP: (takes a swig from the bottle) Are you saying we're brutal? I thought that's why you hired us and kept us on for so long.
EZ: Oh believe me I appricate it, but bills tend to pile up and normally I wouldn't worry. Still ... ticket sales are down as of late and ...
GP: One too many house shows and not enough international coverage I would think.
EZ: (sarcastic) Gee ... ya think? And then I've got people who just love to make my life a living finanical hell. Brunk and his security. Dupree and his trips to the libabry in the red light districts that he tries to slide on the company account ...
KP: Hey ya gotta admire him for that.
EZ: The fact remains. Then there's Commish Brown and his last minute changes to the card ... I just don't know anymore.
KP: Hey don't you worry about Brown. I know he's looking for his boys to win that little match we're gonna have at Global Warfare, but it ain't gonna happen. Look what we've done to them in the past in other places. Hell, in SCW alone I retired his boy Dreams. And Vince Jacobs? He ain't nothin'.
GP: He's even tried to use Fairhurst against you.
KP: Yeah, yeah so they had a thing. Note to Jacobs, Roseanne called, said it wasn't that great.
EZ: But it's a Stairway to Hell match. You two don't exactly have the best of luck in that type of match ... or should I bring up that little run against Simply Stunning in CSWA ...
GP: Don't go there Zieba. That was a fluke and Merritt has ALWAYS had it out for us.
EZ: Yeah I've noticed. You still ain't getting any coverage over there are you?
GP: Neither is Boogie Smallz ... we ain't happy.
KP: Hey that's old business anyway. We've got those two munch clowns AS WELL AS Orion and Osiris in this match. And believe us when I say we've got MORE than enough to pay them back considering what happened at the LAST Revolution.
EZ: Well hopefully you can keep your part of the bargin cause I've put alot into this. I tend to go out of my way to make pay per views special and I would HATE to be disappointed.
GP: Trust us. The Lords of the Ring and the Tag Titles will be well within our secure grasp.
KP: What my Dark Reign friend is saying is we're gonna whip that ass and take those belts! Now we've gotta head out and do our thing ... you just do yours Zieba.
EZ: (sarcastic) Oh will do cheif.
(As they walk out Zieba gets back to his work.)
EZ: What the ... ? Since when did Dupree go to Japan .... and for HOW MUCH???
