So, it's time to start preparing for the new arc; ASCENSION!
FEUD DOCS
You have until September 7th, 2020 @ 11:59 pm to get your feud docs completed for the forthcoming arc. This includes all minor details like referees, seg locations, etc. Completed docs should be shared with Brian, Tom, Seth and Roland by the deadline. (please contact us if you lack our email addresses).

We'll be keeping a running tally of the docs below, and once we receive an invite, your feud will be added to the list.
MATCH/SEG CAPS
So, in an effort to make DEFtv more easily read, we will now be limiting DEFtv to: 6 Matches & 10 Segments
This first arc we may be more flexible with this than in the future, as we feel out this process. We don?t want to discourage anyone from writing, after all that is the heart of this whole thing, but we do want to get the cards back to a more manageable length. Option Two is a second show but before we get there, we are going to give this a shot.
MATCH LENGTH
This is taken directly from a doc in the Resource Documents.
Regular matches: 2-3 pages, maximum. Including entrances. There?s no need to exceed this.
Main events: 3-5 pages maximum, but it?s not essential. If you want to write a 2-pager, go right ahead.
Squash matches: no need to go longer than 1 page.
UNCUT
Uncut is on the "off-weeks." It will be booked and waiting for whoever wants it. Also with the new caps, some things may have to be moved to Uncut from DEFtv. This will be on a case by case basis and obviously we will try to keep this as fair as possible. In the end, the intent is never to slight anyone but just to keep DEFtv?s to a readable limit. If your segment is to be moved, you will be notified as soon as possible.
BRAZEN & WORLD BUILDING
As part of the match caps, we would also encourage more matches with actual characters rather than BRAZEN NPCs. Obviously they can still be used, but in the lean times, maybe we became too accustomed to this. Before you settle on a BRAZEN match, reach out and see if there is anyone else looking for a match on that same card and maybe you both can get your stories over in the same match while possibly sewing seeds for a future feud.

If you're looking for a match, the best place for that is Classifieds on the DISCORD. BRAZEN acts are still available, but should be limited in use, and get with Seth on who to use. Also familiarize yourself with said character(s) so that they are used properly!
