(The camera opnes up to see that Evol is sitting in a house, watching a big screen t.v. On the t.v. is the recent PPV, Ultrabrawl. More specifically his match between himself and his brother. A wicked looking smile crosses his face as the part of Evol's speech comes up. Evol breaks out laughing and turns the PPV off. He gets up out of his chair and walks to the kitchen.)

Evol: Wow, look at all that's happened. Holocaust wins the belt again. (He claps his hands in mock happiness.) Congratulations, former leader. I knew you had it in you. I am sure that you are very tired of winning. All of those victories, all those wins, all of those machinations that you created while sitting alone in a dark corner somewhere. And now, the Dominion, your pet project here in the EUWC is now broken and gone. So much like a lost child you are now. Apocalypse no longer works for the company. Havoc and Malice have dissolved into a puddle of former tag team slime. And to top it all off, your poor benefactors have scolded the child for not completeing his chores. What will the mighty World Champion do now? Frankly, I don't give a crap what you do. Watch your ass, you son of a *****. I will be coming after you sooner or later. I am not leaving any remnants of the Dominion alive and kicking.

Evol: Now onto my next victim. AOD, Angel of Death. A name that strikes fear into people. What a ******* legacy you have behind you, huh? Be proud of everything that you have accomplished. Not many can speak such volumes like you can. Multi-time World and International Champ. I admire you. I really do. There will be a day when I, too, will achieve a level of greatness like that of you, Lord Alucard, Holocaust, or dare I say it, the mighty STEALTH. Everyone’s time will come and mine is now. You are the first step in the proverbial yellow brick road leading to the Emerald City and to the Wizard. It’s exciting, isn’t it? To be the first brick on my road to the top? Feel honored, many others will be joining you.

Evol: Should I be afraid of you, AOD? Is there something about you that I should rightly fear? Besides, what was mentioned before, I don’t see anything to be afraid of. I am ready for bigger and better things, baby. I am ready to run the gauntlet, to take down the best of the best. I am looking at you like a wolf does at a deer. Circling, waiting for the right moment to strike. Patience is the name of the game here. You can’t rush it. I will stalk you, picking you apart piece by piece until you are laying before me in a mass of beaten and bruised flesh. Then I will do the merciful act and finish you off, sending you to that place where the weak go. Because you have to remember one thing, AOD, it’s all about one thing. Survival of the Fittest. In the business world, in nature, it’s all the same. The weak will not survive and will inevitably fall to the strong. Let Mainframe decide which one you are…

(Evol opens the fridge and scrounges around for some food. Scene ends.)

(Scene opens up in a local gym. It is around 8 p.m. at night. Few people are here at this time. A boxer is working the punching bag in the far corner. A few welghtlifters are pumping on the other side of the boxing ring. In the boxing ring itself, stands Evol in full kickboxing gear across from another individual clad in a similar fashion.)

Evol: You ready to learn a lesson in fear, boy?

Fighter: Bring it on...

( The two fighters lift their arms and slowly make their way to each other. The other fighter throws a quick jab, easily avoided by Evol. He laucnhes a roundhouse kick. Evol grabs the man's ankle, slams his elbow down hard on his knee and sweeps the other leg out to the ground. The fighter collapses in pain, clutching his broken knee. Evol grabs onto the injured leg and locks it in a leg wrench, holding it for a few seconds before letting go.)

Evol: Fear is what it's all about. Fear is power, my friend. If someone fears you, then you have the ultimate control over them. They will bend to your will whether they want to or not. It is removal of choice. But fear works both ways. If you fear me, then it drives you to new heights you could never have achieved before. You could have done the same if you did not let your fear take a hold of you. But you were weak. And so, I taught you a lesson. Never make that same mistake again. You hear me?

( The fighter does not answer, still holding his leg. Evol stomps down hard on the injured knee, causing the man to to scream out in pain.)

Evol (in a higher voice): Do you hear me!?

Fighter: Yes, yes! I hear you!

Evol: Good. You'd better get that check out. Looks like it hurts.

(Evol grabs his towel from the ring post and exits. Scene ends.)

Fear is just a four letter word ...

{Angel of Death stands on the edge the roof of a building. Below, cars pass silently, unaware of their silent watcher high above. He crouches, peering down to the busy street, watching the people as they pass below.}

AOD: Millions and millions of people pass by this building on any given day. Each one an individual, unique person, with their own hopes, dreams, and of course, their own fears. Evol, you seem to focus a lot on fear, and how it drives someone. You seem to want to instill fear in your opponents, or at least on your unsuspecing sparring partners. This is a good idea, because if your opponent fears you, they are less likely to want to stand toe to toe with you. Whether or not you fear me, however, is another question. You say that my history is reason enough to fear me. Point taken. You ask whether I am one of the weak, or one of the strong. Good question. You say that you look at me as a wolf does a deer. Here's your first wrong step. For in viewing me as a poor, defenseless prey you underestimate your opponent. Here is where you're going to make your first fatal mistake, and turn the yellow brick road to Oz into the bloody, mangled road to Hell.

{He looks up at the setting sun creating a masterpiece of reds, oranges, yellows and pinks across the faded blue sky.}

AOD: You're now free of the confines of the Dominion, and are wanting to make a name for yourself on your own. That's commendable. But you won't begin with me. You are not in my league, Evol. Your comments have shown you to be nothing but a greenhorn, a base rookie who has a lot to learn. Lesson one comes at Main Frame, Evol. You may have defeated your brother, a feat I performed on many an occasion, and you may have survived the downfall of the Dominion, but you can not and will not survive a match with me this early in the game. Take this match as a learning experience, Evol, and use it to properly prepare for your long journey ahead. You just might make it to the top, but it certainly won't begin through me. See you on Friday, Evol. Come prepared for the lesson of a lifetime.

{He stands, and some gravel rubs from his boot and tumbles onto some unsuspecing passersby. They look up, but see nothing as Angel of Death has disappeared from view. Fade to black.}

(Evol is suiting up for a houseshow match. He has just finished lacing up his boots and heads out the door to his locker room. Staci Seymore walks up to him as Evol makes his way to the ring. He motions for her to follow, cameraman in tow.)

Evol: Make it quick if you could. I have a match to get to.

Staci: Thank you for your time, Evol. I just have a few questions. First is, you seem to be making a push to reach the upper echelons of the league. Why now and why Holocaust?

Evol: It's simple really. My time has come to prove a point. You never know why you might step on on your way to the top. Someone you simply brush by may come back to bite you in the ass later on down the line. My brother dragged me here to help him. Instead of bringing me to the top, I felt dragged down by him and the rest of the Dominion. With my brother no longer here and Havoc and Malice no longer a tag team, that leaves Holocaust as the keystone in the archway.

Staci: What do you mean by that?

Evol: The keystone in an archyway is the stone that hold the entire structure up. It is the center stone at the top. Without it, the entire arch collapses since it no longer has any support. Holocaust is that keystone of the Dominion. If anything, Holocaust is a survivor. Losing the Dominion will only make him a more dangerous opponent. He no longer has anyone to support him. Sure his mysterious benefactors might have a hand in his actions but ultimately it means nothing. He is still by himself. The only way to truly bring the Dominion down is to remove the keystone and watch as the rubble of the Dominion is gone once and for all. That is my goal and my mission for the time being.

Staci: Do you have any higher aspirations such as the World title?

Evol: Of course I do. You do not join this business and not want to be the alpha dog in the pack. I worked my way up from the Dominion's lapdog into a whole new entity all my own. I am Evol. I am here to stake my territory and prove to all the others so high on ther ******* pedastals that I am here and they should rightfully fear their positions. They should enjoy them while it lasts.

Staci: AOD has claimed thar you are nothing more that a rookie and have very little experience at the top. What do you have to say about that?

Evol: I don't need experience. You heard the saying that necessity is the mother of invention. It applies in this very case. AOD has a legacy that is hard to live up to by any standards. He underestimates my skills. That may well serve to be his downfall. We will find out this Mainframe it seems.

Staci: Well, thank you very much for your time. Good luck tonight.

Evol: Thanks.

(Evol hears his entrance music and parts the curtain to meet the cheering crowds. Scene ends.)

Misdirection is key ...

{AOD sits alone on a pier in the middle of the night. The reflection of the full moon dances in the light tide as it laps against the pier. As we get closer we notice a thoughtful, almost melancholy look on AOD's face.}

AOD: Evol seems to think that I am underestimating him. On the contrary, Evol. I think you have what it takes to get to the top someday. But there's the crux of it, Evol. Someday. You have set your sights high, and while I think the target of your aggression is somewhat misguided, since the Dominion, as you readily remind us, has fallen, then why Holocaust? How is the broken man now holding the World Title holding your attention and hatred? You said yourself that your brother brought you here. You've dealt with that waste of space, it's time to move on.

{He shifts his weight, leaning on his side instead of his back, allowing a boot to nearly break the surface of the water.}

AOD: Evol, your rise to the top will begin, and I'm sure it will be soon. But to be focused on someone as spent as Holocaust will only hurt you in the long run. Trying to use me as a boost to your budding career will hurt you in the present tense. I am prepared to teach you a very valuable, and very painful lesson in what it takes to be at the top. The real question is, will you be ready and willing to learn? We'll have to wait until Friday for the answer, now won't we?

{He turns and looks out over the calm waters as we fade to black.}

(Evol is sitting in a nondescript room with a single llight source above him. He is sitting on a simple, wooden chair, ricking back and forth precariously.)

Evol: So, I am the student and you are the teacher. Do I have it right? Kinda like Yoda. Funny, isn't it. Keep talking your big talk if it makes you feel better. I am ready to take that first step. Should I bring a pen and paper with me to take notes on your greatness? No. Maybe a tape recorder? No again. You can definitely talk the talk and probably scare the crap out of the lesser folk but not me. I've seen enough to know who is full of it and who isn't. But I can't judge a book by its cover, now can I? I mean that would be horribly unfair and unjust. So, I can't look at you and judge if I can beat you for the 1,2,3. The only way is to apply what we know in that ring. The only place to settle our differences is there. This Friday. Just you and me. Just gives you shivers, doesn't it?

(Evol laughs out loud and the light turns off. Scene ends.)
