BRANDON JACOBS: We are back from the commercial break and we are ready to start off the show with Rat Fink against Doc Silver.
ZACK SIRUS: Almost Live has a long history of great shows, which date back over a decade to the MFL of the early nineties, this show shouldn’t be an exception. Doc Silver & Rat Fink will be starting a new chapter here tonight in the very first match of the WFW era.
BRANDON JACOBS: The lights are dimming, it is time to start the show. Lets go to the ring.
::Megalomaniac by KMFDM blares over the speakers::
RING ANNOUNCER: Introducing first, from WCW Special Forces, one of the greatest super villains of our time, RAT FINK!!
::Rat Fink walks down to the ring with his cheesy sci fi looking robot manager::
::Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage wails over the loud speaker::
RING ANNOUNCER: His opponent, from Orlando, Florida, one of the greatest legends and a 4 time AAWC World Champion, DOC SILVER!
:: Doc Silver walks out to the loud boos from the crowd and enters the ring::
::the referee pats both Doc Silver and Rat Fink down for weapons::
::bell rings::
BRANDON JACOBS: Doc Silver and Rat Fink lockup! Rat Finks slips behind Doc and slips him in a chicken wing!
ZACK SIRUS: One of the most underrated moments in a match is the initial lockup, if you win the advantage early on, you can set the pace of the match.
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink is wrenching it in, trying to shove his arm up to his neck! Doc Silver lets an hard elbow fly backward into the face of Rat Fink!
ZACK SIRUS: Nasty, the elbow nailed him right in the mouth, looks like he may have lost a tooth.
BRANDON JACOBS: Doc kicks Rat Fink in the stomach.... HE ATTEMPTS THE ACES FULL! Rat Fink blocks it and pushes him forward off the ropes!
ZACK SIRUS: Doc saw an opportunity to nail him with the Aces Full and when he nails, nobody can kick out of it
BRANDON JACOBS: RAT FINK CATCHES DOC OFF THE ROPES AND AS HE STUMBLES BACKWARDS HE ROLLS DOC UP! 1---------------2-----------KICKOUT!
ZACK SIRUS: Inside that ring, you can’t let your guard down for a second or you could find yourself on the wrong side of a three count.
BRANDON JACOBS: Doc is crawling away from Rat Fink to get to the ropes in order to get up but it looks like Rat Fink has caught up to him!
ZACK SIRUS: Rat Fink has Doc on the run, Doc was trying to escape the outside for a couple of minutes to clear his head.
BRANDON JACOBS: Fink picks up the crawling Doc... HE PICKS DOC UP IN THE AIR... STALLING BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!
ZACK SIRUS: Doc landed on the flat of his back on that one, it looks like he is wearing him down for his Top Rope Crucifix Bomb.
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink grabs the legs of Doc and BRIDGES FORWARD! The ref goes down for the count! 1-----------2---------KICKOUT! Slow count by the ref there!
ZACK SIRUS: God damn it, can’t we find refs that can count to three without getting stuck on what comes after two?
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink is complaining to the ref, he really should be concentrating on Doc instead... DOC PUTS THE BACK OF HIS HEAD BETWEEN RAT FINK’S LEGS AND NAILS HIM WITH A BACKBODY DROP!
ZACK SIRUS: RAT FINK HIT THE BACK OF HIS HARD ON THE MAT!
BRANDON JACOBS: Doc Silver signals for the Superkick! If he nails this, it could be all over. Rat Fink has no idea it is coming.
ZACK SIRUS: MOVE OUT OF THE WAY RAT FINK! MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink is getting up slowly.... DOC NAILS THE SUPERKICK! The momentum of the kick sends Rat Fink stumbing and HE FALLS THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE FLOOR!
ZACK SIRUS: Rat Fink caught a lucky break right there, if he had stayed in the ring, this match would be over.
BRANDON JACOBS: Doc goes after him to the floor, he appears frustrated with how much offense Rat Fink has gotten in this match and he is going for the kill! Doc is removing the mats at ringside!
ZACK SIRUS: The stupid ref is just letting all of this go, what good are the damn rules if they aren’t enforced.
BRANDON JACOBS: The ref is letting these two men fight, WFW lets men be men... but that hard concrete floor can end a career. Ref needs to make sure this match doesn’t get out of control.
ZACK SIRUS: GOOD GAWD, DOC JUST SLAMMED RAT FINK HARD ONTO THE FLOOR!
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink is grabbing his back! He is in awful lot of pain! I don’t know how he is going to be able to rebound from this. Doc doesn’t appear done.... HE IS CALLING FOR ANOTHER SUPERKICK!
ZACK SIRUS: This could be the death blow right here, it is stupid to try the same move twice, but Rat Fink has a bad back so he shouldn’t be able to move out of the way.
BRANDON JACOBS: RAT FINK IS GETTING UP... HE SEES THAT THE SUPERKICK IS COMING AND DUCKS.... DOC TRICKED HIM! HE NAILED HIM WITH THE DDT WHEN HE DUCKED THE SUPERKICK WHICH NEVER CAME! Rat Fink’s head smashed into the hard concrete! Blood is coming down his dazed face as he tries to use the guardrail to get up.
ZACK SIRUS: Rat Fink is signaling something....
BRANDON JACOBS: RAT FINK’S ROBOT MANAGER JUMPS ON DOC SILVER’S BACK! As much as he tries to shake him, he can’t get him off. Rat Fink is reaching into the crowd and grabs a fan’s chair! I can’t believe the ref is letting this go!
ZACK SIRUS: Doc Silver was finally able to shake the robot with an over with a fireman’s slam onto the concrete!
BRANDON JACOBS: RAT FINK CHARGES WITH THE STEEL CHAIR ON HIS ARM AND BLINDSIDES DOC WITH THE CHAIR TO THE SIDE OF THE FACE! DOC FALLS DOWN TO THE FLOOR! HE APPEARS TO BE OUT COLD!
ZACK SIRUS: Doc is going to lose! DOC IS GOING TO LOSE!
BRANDON JACOBS: Rat Fink rolls Doc Silver in and follows him into the ring... he waits for Doc to get up.... RUNNING SHOULDER BLOCK TO THE FACE! Doc falls back into the corner!
ZACK SIRUS: Finish him now! FINISH HIM!
Brandon Jacobs: Rat Fink calls for his finisher! Rat Fink puts Doc Silver backwards on the top rope and climbs up.... he sets him up in the crucifix.. DOC IS MOVING HIS LEGS UP THE CORNER IN ORDER TO GET MORE LEVERAGE ON THE FLIP BUT RAT FINK DOESN’T KNOW!
ZACK SIRUS: There is no way he can get out of this move, Doc is only making things worse on himself!
BRANDON JACOBS: CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB.... DOC LANDS ON HIS FEET! A stunned Rat Fink gets up off the mat..... KICK TO THE STOMACH!
ZACK SIRUS: NOOOOOOOOO!
BRANDON JACOBS: ACES FULL! SILVER DRAGS HIM TO THE CENTER OF THE RING! 1-------------2--------------3!!!! DOC SILVER WINS IT AND ADVANCES TO THE FINAL!
