Empire Pro Wrestling presents The King of the Cage: Tag Team Edition
Over the last few months, the best of Empire Pro competed in our annual King of the Cage Tournament, where a series of matches determined the #1 contender to the EPW World Title, held by “First”. The winner of the tournament, “Anarky” went on to defeat the champion at the Unleashed 2011 Pay-Per-View event.
Enter…. The Heirs of Wrestling.
The Heirs of Wrestling have held the EPW World Tag Team Titles since June 2010. Their streak of dominance helped them attain the #1 ranking on the E-Wrestling Channel Rankings for a staggering 31 straight weeks and counting.
The Heirs will now put their titles on the line in the tag team Edition of our King of the Cage Tournament. The Tournament will be competed lethal lottery style, and should any team draw the Heirs of Wrestling in a match on their path to the finals, that match will be for the EPW World Tag Team Titles. Likewise, they would then defend the titles through to the end.
The only exception to the lethal lottery pairings are existing tag teams that enter AS A TEAM.
Signups are ongoing, roleplay style is open, no bias to a certain style. The only requirement is that if you should win the belts or the tournament itself, you see through a commitment to the fed until you fulfill the obligation of defending the titles properly.
The Heirs of Wrestling have dominated the tag team wrestling scene for nearly a year. With the lethal lottery style, some truly epic teams could be formed. Come take your shot at dethroning the best tag team in the world.
