    Judges Podcast #1 - Link

Thanks to everybody who joined the podcast, especially the judges. Thanks also to the folks who called in.

I think Dave Brunk is the Scranton Strangler.

First E-W related podcast I've listened to. Good to hear the judges define what they are looking for. Which spoiler is, entertaining. I couldn't keep up with who was who, but whoever said the only storyline is the ULTRATITLE, marked out a little bit. There was a lot of clipping, and some serious sound wobble at points. But overall it was listenable for like 85% of it. Which for something with no money behind it. Isn't too bad.

I enjoyed it guys. I may not get laid for weeks because I'm listening to it, but really what were the chances of that happening anyway?

The sound quality was solid. My only issue was Chad fading in and out, but the others were all good. For what it was, it was very well done. Liked the call ins. Well done Kyle.

Outside of the Pete/Mike love affair very good stuff. Would have liked to have heard more from Brunk. The Randy Galloway of E Fed radio.

More of these would be great. But I realize we all have lives here --- ahem.

IMO there has to be a selection show where you announce brackets and then let the judges ramble on about how they think they'll break down.

But personally I'm just waiting for the next show where we hear Pete's door open and hear him say faintly, "Lindsay? How did you....Nooooooooooooooooooo."

Re: Judges Podcast #1 - Link

I thought the first podcast was pretty solid. I imagine things will get better once Chad figures out everything he's doing, so some of the sound quality issues should hopefully be addressed.

I believe we had about five or six people on the show and that might be a little bit too many. Certainly it's good to get a variety of opinions from those who will judge material, but in the future, it might help to keep it to three or four, so it's easier to keep track of everything.

If this keeps going past the Ultratitle, it might be fun to have some roundtable discussions about the various e-w/FW circles out there... or maybe we need to get a bunch of us folks from the Prodigy Classic days to talk about what we remember. Not that I'm volunteering or anything... it's all a blur!

Thanks Ben. Sorry we had to do it while you were sleeping. It's not our fault you're further ahead in the space-time continuum then we are!

I enjoyed Brunk's matter-of-factness. It was like listening to an exclamation mark.
