Well, the fine print does say the images are copyright "Jose Lebron" and used with permission. I do know that Joe is of hispanic descent, maybe Puerto Rican or Cuban...I forget. And I do think his actual name may be Jose.
Still....funny to see all those faces since we know who they were made for originally.
And I haven't heard from Joe in ages either...
Yeah, the guy links to the site as well on his links page...
...but you never know. lol
lmao, yeah, I found a banner to that place while on wrestlinggonewrong.com one day.
"Would be mighty cool if someone with admin privileges got rid of the 'Strawbot' thing from my title. I'm sadly not very fond of that nomenclature." --Ryan Strawsma
Copyright infringement or not, that site is sexy... like a woman.
Lebron got back to me and the site is paying him, so its all gravy.
Well that settles all the controversy... pass the mashed taters.
I'll preface what I'm fixing to say with the fact that my Poser Image was a freebie by Joe, so I don't have room to complain if I even wanted to about him letting others use it, but for those people that did pay for their Poser to be done probably would have an argument against them using it.
And I guess Promo's black mask is that league generic image.![]()
Blood, Sweat, Pain. Everything else is just an excuse.
In the end, it's not about winning or losing, It's all about the PROMO!
All of NFW's posers were done for free as well, so I didn't really care about that half of it either.
I'm just hurt they didn't use the "Chad Marrit" poser or Joe's interesting audio recording.
You could always go the HeroMachine 2.5 route.
*awkward silence*
Hey... at least those images are original.
(Seriously, Version 3.0 might turn out pretty decent. It just needs more poses and body types to be comparible (versatility wise) to poser 3D someday. For someone with absolutely no artistic talent it's a viable option. Laugh and point all ya want. HeroMachine makes cool 80's cartoon wrestlers.)
